As a 18,200 kill Maggie I’m glad they didn’t give her throw away perks, an I’m hoping it’s also faster or lasts longer than normal cause the thermites will likely not hit it, but running with ult will be definitely easily sin free the fireball causes more visual clutter so enemies can’t see u when u run

So many times maggie players have the ball js go randomly in a different direction or right back at them. But if you have it so you can detonate it whenever you like. almost like a crypto emp you could prevent that.

No, this is better for new players. Because better players always had red evos most of the game. Now it would be harder for them. Everyone will be "more equal" quite a lot of time. So new playes will have a bit more chance to down them.

for the octane pad im pretty sure your muscle memory of flicking the camera is making it look worse, I think if you just hold W and look forward with the double jump it instantly shifts momentum to that direction.

as a lifeline main , seeing other support legends having a better revive ( mirage with the revive allies with hp regen 75hp , and gibby reviving up to 50 hp) is just sad to me , i've been playing lifeline since season 1 for only one purpose, and that is to play FOR my team , having a faster rez is cool don't get me wrong, but her last upgrade is so selfish that it doesn't suit her, like if they wanted her to have a non-team reliant upgrade, they could've given her back fast healing, maybe the drone heals her faster than her allies or maybe the drone follows her around while healing. and im hoping that the self revive upgrade isn't a 1 time use only, coz in that case having the last upgrades being a 1 time thing only is simply sad (talking about the self revive).
Forget the extended jump, did you see the ult ammo ? Find an ult recharge and you've got a literal 3rd sniper on you like you're playing Ballistic. Imagine keeping one to use mid-fight, you'll be tagging enemies like hell. I'd love to try that.

The Vantage thing. It's important to know each bullet is constantly being charged independently. So no her bullets weren't just immediately on 80% from using the accelerant. Also the accelerant charges based on total charge from all shots as if maxed. So think of before as 33% charge through accelerant as it charged 2 out of the 6 shots and after as more of a 66% charge since it charged 4 shots out of the 6. The 5th charge was the independent charge from the ult naturally charging up. Also basically every single tactical cooldown upgrade was generally about 5 seconds. There was no exception to that rule. Surprised you didn't catch onto it. Which is very consistent as you don't need to study every specific legend, and people who play Apex casually can pretty quickly get the gist of it without needing to look up some Excel spreadsheet.
Seems cool for existing players, cannot imagine trying to get into apex today. with all the dif characters and now dozens of perks and guns, it’s just too much, especially when there’s so many underlying issues already.
Less is more. If I wanted to go play cod I’d go play cod. This perk system is so unnecessary considering all the other character imbalances. Adding stuff like this only hurts the general player base

I could be misunderstanding how it works , but it seems like choosing an upgrade that increases conduit's tac range could be a nerf since she only gets her speed boost by targeting teammates who are out of tac range..
If you use the passive for combat then yes it definitely a nerf but i think if you use it for what it’s meant for (which is to close the distance to your teammate and heal them) then it’s overall unchanged.
The towers still make her semi-useless. Like Hal and Raven said - good players would rather hit a balloon and have a way better legend than go a bit further landing with a mediocre legend.

There is a shortcut key you can press to pop up the perk selection UI at the top of the screen right? By default you have to go to the inventory screen to select it, correct?
They could have at least made an option for Ballistic to have digital threat optics on SMGs during his ult. I rarely ever equip digi on anything but SMGs.

For Vantage it's kinda actually nerf, some ultimate was fast cooldown and recharging. That used to be like the perks stats, would be better faster channeling time or reduce timing using ultimate accelerant much better. Same as support kit legends, it should be faster using healing kit. reduce 25% time perhaps if 50% broken.
I honestly prefer this kinda thing to a new legend. With a new legend, you play them for a few games and if you like them you get hours of playing the game in a new way but if you don't its pretty much just the same game legend wise. But this makes every single legend feel fresh as it's effectively a universal buff to the entire roster. It's also like a compromise with the developers because we can finally get buffs we wanted and the devs are less hesitant to implement them as they come with the caveat of needing to unlock them every match.
As a catalyst main im not impressed that they nerfed cat just so her perks are her pre-nerf state (which btw wasnt even nessesary in the first place for normal players)
For Loba i would say, they should remove the -5s perk tactical and replace it with like a 25% faster throw and braclet travel time. The smaller cooldown is obviously really nice but in my opinion, lobas bracelet is pretty slow and got me often killed because of the slow travel animation after i throwed it.

@Sora-vj8nc If it works like Ballistic Ult, yes it will be applied on top of her passive so crazy fast spitfire reloads are going to be a thing but I don't see me or anyone else doing because of it, or any other lmg honestly. All weapons classes are going to benefit from it but I wonder if it works even if you reload behind a broken cover or while deploying one too. In that case, it can come in clutch many times. I know many tricks and things that you can do with walls when placed smartly and this will give me a new way to think of how to trick enemies into pushing me. The potential is huge but we have to wait and see unfortunately, everyone is freaking out for double Maggie drill,Fuse, Wattson (all huge buffs) but if this perk works for the entire team is a game-changer perk for me. Can't wait to test it out! Even so, I'll pick this over Sheila buff, it's already broken like it is!
I feel like Im the most annoyed with what they did to Catalyst. Like she genuinely isnt even that OP and she wasnt that difficult to fight against at all, or have on the team. I feel like they couldve kept her original kit and stuff and then got more creative with her wall or spikes or, again, give her the option to hold more spikes or something or even buff how many doors you can reinforce at a given time. I think a cool perk to her wall could have been to make the veil thicker, or have more time where the enemy has reduced visibility. Or when an enemy is in the veil or passes through it they are highlighted briefly. They could've again, also had one of the first perks be something like reinforce up to 2 more doors or whatever and then have the +1 to tactical. I feel like they really just did Catalyst so freakin dirty for literally no reason :(. They couldve also added a perk where you could also increase the width and length of the spike trap so it's less of a solid line and more of a "block" shape. Idk these are just my own ideas since watching this video. I think she got the most underwhelming perks of every legend tbh.... :( BH's first set of perks were also pretty underwhelming. I feel like they def could've kept the white raven as is and did something like "expands tactical cone range by a little bit" or something. If they were so worried about the white raven giving ult charge they couldve just made that less rather then gatekeeping it, and then actually made one of BHs first set of perks actually useful or more insightful, especially since theyre a recon legend. They couldve also done something like "if knocking/killing enemy within 60 seconds of tracking, reset tactical" or even a speed boost to team or something like that. Idk im just throwing out ideas 😭😭😭

Mirage, Gibby and Newcastle are all way better picks than Lifeline in S20 sadly.

What's happening is basically the upgrade lets you be even farther away from your team and get the boost

Did catalysts tac throw range got shadowbuffed for the range? I remember it being nerfed so hard that she basically threw it at her feet instead of like 15m but now it seems pretty much the same as before or even more 🤔
I wonder the same about some other legend abilities that i didn't remembered till i wrote this comment but i think its on other legends too, that they have shadow buffed some abilities that were nerfed hardcore.

@Sora-vj8nc If it works like Ballistic Ult, yes it will be applied on top of her passive so crazy fast spitfire reloads are going to be a thing but I don't see me or anyone else doing because of it, or any other lmg honestly. All weapons classes are going to benefit from it but I wonder if it works even if you reload behind a broken cover or while deploying one too. In that case, it can come in clutch many times. I know many tricks and things that you can do with walls when placed smartly and this will give me a new way to think of how to trick enemies into pushing me. The potential is huge but we have to wait and see unfortunately, everyone is freaking out for double Maggie drill,Fuse, Wattson (all huge buffs) but if this perk works for the entire team is a game-changer perk for me. Can't wait to test it out!

I feel like Im the most annoyed with what they did to Catalyst. Like she genuinely isnt even that OP and she wasnt that difficult to fight against at all, or have on the team. I feel like they couldve kept her original kit and stuff and then got more creative with her wall or spikes or, again, give her the option to hold more spikes or something or even buff how many doors you can reinforce at a given time. I think a cool perk to her wall could have been to make the veil thicker, or have more time where the enemy has reduced visibility. Or when an enemy is in the veil or passes through it they are highlighted briefly. They could've again, also had one of the first perks be something like reinforce up to 2 more doors or whatever and then have the +1 to tactical. I feel like they really just did Catalyst so freakin dirty for literally no reason :(. They couldve also added a perk where you could also increase the width and length of the spike trap so it's less of a solid line and more of a "block" shape. Idk these are just my own ideas since watching this video. I think she got the most underwhelming perks of every legend tbh.... :(
BH's first set of perks were also pretty underwhelming. I feel like they def could've kept the white raven as is and did something like "expands tactical cone range by a little bit" or something. If they were so worried about the white raven giving ult charge they couldve just made that less rather then gatekeeping it, and then actually made one of BHs first set of perks actually useful or more insightful, especially since theyre a recon legend. They couldve also done something like "if knocking/killing enemy within 60 seconds of tracking, reset tactical" or even a speed boost to team or something like that. Idk im just throwing out ideas 😭😭😭

For the octane one, you need to facing other direction before double jump
that +15% conduit tac range. won't that nerf her passive then? Because it activates as long as you're not in range with the tac with a teammate?
