    Amazing teacher, and he has a feel for the music, the way he uses the vibrato. I can't play double bass, but I play fretless bass

    I feel exactly the oposite of phrasing... the apoggiature feel part of tension, this is why it's more important... Violins get sometimes a different way of bowing to do this.

      Violins do down-up, down-up, up-down for the opening phrase, which is what I do
