To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists-alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2-had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. situations like this are always interesting to me, and I can't help but be impressed by how well they are able to get past the language barrier. this player did a great job! as did the translator and the master giving the masterclass.
Very brave of this young man to be recorded like this but fantastic to see his progress in such a short space of time!

Yeah they are definitely much more musical in Europe, although there are still many great and musical players in America. Just not as much.
