Duncan and Robinson both had already proved themselves to a much greater extent than Victor W before they were drafted. Also Duncan and Robinson both went under the basket a lot with zero fear of the opponents. Victor Wembanyama plays a finesse game seemingly uninterested in grinding down low. I hope he does well but I’m a skeptic.
