You should turn that Ford crew cab that you got from Westen into a rollback or wrecker. That way when you haul someone you could interview them. Hell could maybe even have like a podcast feel. Tow and Talk with Tim! Your welcome.
Hank Hill would be proud of you for rescuing that propane truck!
Can you please put more lights on the front and back of the tow truck. Your safety is what I'm worried about. You only have midship lights. Front and back please. Keep up the great work buddy 👍
We run block heater's in all our truck's and plug them in in the winter time ! We had a 78 Pete with big cam 3 Cummin's in it that we didn't plug in and it cracked a piston from the cold start's and we had to have it rebuilt so I say plug um in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If we cold started our trucks in the Canadian prairies like that we wouldn't have starters left in them
Holding them engaged that long with no fire. Short bursts don't over heat the starter
Your cold is like a nice day for us 😂
She needs to stop whining
That's why we have block heaters on board ether, weather fronts and belly tarps. Billings Montana to Yellowknife NWT.
@@norcanexs.g.llc.4625 yes I run winter fonts block heaters and wabasto or propheats. Southern boys don't know cold
Good to see you take your kids along with you, some of the best times I had with my dad was when I would get to ride with him.....
Tim, you need more strobe lights on the side, front and rear of your tow truck to make you more visable
ABSOLUTELY💯
Tim nobody pulled a gun 🔫 somebody found one ... people watch without the click bait title 😉
Pulled it out of the Snow, YUP Click bait......
Must be low on views
They pulled a rifle out of the snow. Title is 100% true.
Tim I was a truck driver for years and when my daughter was taking drivers education I was asked it I would like to teach because I gave a speech for her about what you really have to do out there because we're professionals. Maybe you should teach the young people how to drive like I did.
Aint towing grand ,when it rains it pours ,but take while you can get it ,winter is the tow trucks best friend.
It’s best to get off the roads when the ice and freezing rain is like it’s been your way. It is the way of life here every winter, so I am use to it.😊
Towing has been my passion since i was a teen. I loved every minute of it. I was WRECKMASTER CERTIFIED in 1997. I miss it every day. Thanks for the memories!
Bullshit
Emmielou is the up and coming star. Braxie better get rid of his shy side. She already wants to drive.❤😂
Gotta love how it sounds like the pistons are trying to swap cylinders when it's that cold.
Tim your Daughter is absolutely BEAUTIFUL she looks just like Her Momma Beautiful!!!!
😂 I love your dad, he wanted to fix that oil truck right on the spot.
THE AUTO CHAINS OFF THE FIRE TRUCK WOULD BE SWEET ON THE TOW TRUCK
You need some strobes in the grill you can't tell it's a wrecker at certain angles even when the beacons are on
Welcome to the towing business! I grew up in the business and have seen it all and it gets crazy sometimes!
You might already know this, but if not, when you're pulling a vehicle that has one of those screw-in-tow hooks, make sure you pull as straight as possible because those screw-in hooks will bend and even snap off if you pull on them at an angle.
Even just any tow hook
I dont miss that weather one bit!! It snows once in a long while but that's it
Very icy there....Good recovery jobs...stay safe and see you on the next one
Tim you need more white lights on the back to see when your loading...
Having that HAZMAT endorsement is awesome in the towing buisness.
That cold start on that black Pete sounds sweet!
Man Tim be careful letting people stay around that vehicle while you’re pulling. They will blame you if that car shifts or something happens. We are in the sue me society these days.
It will good content
Really, to see one of his kids get hit by a flying chain or cable. That's pretty sad no responsibility.
Well that has proved to be a very good investment. That wrecker has been busy since you got it. You have definitely put your time in learning the truck and a new business for sure. Great job.
Tim on that car that was stuck in the ditch you should of parked on the far side of road, ran the wire down to your out rigger/spade and thew a snatch block and pulled the front end straight up and then ya could of ran it off a tree with a chain qnd snatch block diredtly across the road and pulled it up like that i know your still learning but just giving yoy some ideas. Always use your surroundings to your advantage.
The rollback should have got it.. Lack of knowledge
@ky.gambler5281 I agree a rollback should of been able to rip that little suv outta there pretty easy but they said they broke their winch line and that's why they called Tim. But still could of pushed the deck all the way back, hooked a chain to the car back to the middle or front of the deck and used the hydrologics and pulled it up that way. If there's a will there's a way.
@@T.ring91 right on
Ol wrecker been putting in the work & earning it's keep for you for sure !
Rim shackles from Baileys rigging would be perfect for that little car. Grab it by the wheels.
Ole blue is getting it done Tim💪 Nice work!
Tim you keep helping other companies out and you'll grow very quickly and it's a brotherhood just like trucking and it's very well compensating too
Love the channel.. its become my favorite... so much great truck content... best truck channel on youtube.. keep up the great work tim..
after 26 years of towing i got out of it . but i do miss it some times .
Bailey towing Equipment in Los Angeles sells the frame hooks and a lot of synthetic slings that are just as strong as any chain you have on your truck but a lot easier to use
Goonzsquad aint too far from you. Maybe you could do a collab to get the truck painted in their booth
Boy I would be so happy to see Tim show up if I got stuck out on the roads hell and it might happen one day I live in East Tennessee!
How can you start a truck that has been setting any time WITHOUT checking. Fluids ??????
If it sits a day or a few, it’s not going to drain all the motor oil out. If it’s cold why bother.
The gentry family....top notch people
Tim you need more flashing lights on the side of your toe truck and the back so you are seen better 😊
He said in a live he ordered a bunch of stuff just waiting for stuff to slow down so he can install everything
Toe?
Tim you should come to Canada to tow to see the snow ❄️ and ice 🧊 we get. here. We drive in this weather on a weekly basis in the winter. Have fun towing, and be safe
Awesome cold start thank you for sharing
Tim you need to buy you some Baylees straps that' just about what most towing companies use and all different sizes of axle lift hooks
As Charlie trucker says, “fire up some of them cancer cannons” aka diesel/kerosene heaters
Would be cool to see a cab over with a zack lift the yellow truck would have been sweet painted with a zack and the long strech
Great content as usual. Love the towing footage! Stay Safe!!!
Oh gotta love them coldstarts
lol the cold start sounded good, putting a beat out there ha
Tim I used to live by the saying that I will get enough sleep when I am dead but now I am 57 years old and I look back and wish I had spent more time with my babies my youngest is 19 and I missed out on all of their growth and living because I chased that oh mighty dollar please don't let this happen to you and your family
Haven't watched for a long while been busy now home catching up see the wrecker tidy truck very useful tim intrstesting video 📹 thanks 👍
Tim you need to put work lights on the back so you can see brother Great channel
That cold start sounded like a drumline beat
You can actually buff that front window to get that sand pits out it's take a little time but it will look brand dam new
Tim when finances allow, you need some more emergency lighting on your truck. Look at Ron Pratts videos of his trucks.
Next truck you need a smaller truck with a twin line bed and tunnel box. You can haul cars and RVs and some semi tractors with them.
gee she aint wanted togo very easy! that was a little iffy going down that hill thank for sharing the video tim and braxton
Implying in your title they pulled the gun out on you. Hardly
Love seeing the other Gentry’s she looks like her mommy
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Having a wrecker is so handy! I can’t say that enough. Those little propane trucks can be a bit heavy! You had some tight roads to run with that big wrecker & ice covered as well. Pulling that little car out was still rather easy. You had the right truck for the job. Good stuff, man! Your kids seemed like they had a blast running with you. That’s the way to involve them as well…Just Do It! Fun stuff! Blessings my friend! 🥰🤩✌️
Tim get you a wall mount propane heater for your shop and if that shops insulated decently, then that's all you need in there because that's what a lot of body shops use..
Not ventless.
you should run your safety chains closer to the ground and more slack and run a bungee cord over the wheel lift from each safety chain so it gives you plenty of slack when turning.
They sound like a giant version of those old Fisher Price popcorn machines that the kids would drag on the carpet to get the wood balls inside to pop around and make all the noise they like [being kids who love to make noise and pretend they're cleaning the rug or something]. Anyway... ya starting them cold sometimes sounds like a big, grumpy version of those thing lol
Most respect to you we all have, to help each other in times of need it pays back 10-fold sometimes but if not, it makes us feel better and the word travels for sure. Would love to work for you and can bring a lot of great knowledge with me and experience but would like to do it for you in northern Illionois. Mabe an outpost for you to start. I have my class A up to date. thanks for your time and stay safe during this weather thing. not like the 70's but people need to learn how to drive.
I can't believe your still filming and driving.
You should look into those on spot chains for your wrecker.
I can see you need some low work lights on the tow truck. But other than that, looks like you got her set up pretty well for now.
I know a lot of times this doesn't help play cold weather run are antifreeze in your Airlines and do not drain your tanks during the winter with a different antifreeze in
Still stuck on black ice in bug tussel west virginia , slid out the road just before fast freddies latino flea market, waiting on that tow truck !!
a little word of advice never use the hook in point in the bumper they strip out . there just for shipping the car . there's hook points under the car use your little j hooks and put them in the slots .
Need to move some of that other stuff/cars whatever out of the shop in bad weather--park the trucks in there that are making money. Too much time wasted getting stuff ready , Tim. If you are serious about towing you got to roll and make the money when it;s there...
That brought back flash backs of my water tanker days in an extended cab kw running 110k middle winter in Booneys of Pa and wv white knuckling. Gotta be smooth no Jake brake
Tm , your daughter will want to run the tow truck in about 14 years ! Gentry. N kids . The cold is hanging on . Hold on there’s another storm or 2 snow ice Az desert here, chain up ,ull be happy u did !
i havent been out of the house since thurs4 days may toommorrow during the day when i can see but after dark im inside
thanks 4 the ride
That click bate was worse then usaul
Saw her in Laramie WY last week on Wednesday. Poor thing was puffing white smoke.
Use two bullet heaters and I have painted many vehicles that way I made the shop 120 degrees
Safe travels with the wrecker 😊
Another great video!
That truck could use some On Spot chains.
Good evening y'all da g freezing rain and snow.
Grumpy Cat 😂😂😂 Bonny sounds badass
You need to get with Yankum Rope or something and get you some soft shackles as well for hooking up stuff without tow points.
No winter diesel or maybe a block heater..
Yesterday morning in Windsor Ontario Canada we started to get this ice storm. 15 min away was a vid of a guy ice skating around the block 😅
Which one is your favorite truck out of the fleet Tim? By the way I love your channel would love to see a western star in your fleet, keep up the good work road to 1 million
Rooster I bet
I agree with the western star drove kne for a few years and loved it
Thought someone pulled a loaded gun, looks like someone found one instead,
Make sure you use caution when you use those factory tow points they aren only ment for straight pull and break all the time and fly at people when they do,
proud of u TIM
Airline antifreeze goes in after the air dryer. Defeats the purpose putting it in at the compressor.
Hi Tim Gentry and Sons and family
Leave those kids at home
Love that pete sounds killer and truck looks great
Hey Tim I stopped over at the TA 730 when you guys were getting set up to run the other day. Got to meet FSC and Brice. Would of loved to meet you to, but timing. Still glad to see Rooster parked 30 min from me tho.
Tim I don't know how it goes in the the towing world but do you need a HazMat endorsement to tow😊
U Never Know What you might see,,U Just Never know,,,Tim Works His Ass Off ,,Brax Does Too,,,Out getting His $$ 💯💚👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇲🥰✌🏼
The Truck needs a Turn signal Beeper . Made a left turn with the Right Turn indicator On...
I had to put one on My Dads car back in the 80's cause he left it on all the time, Could not hear the Stock flasher..
How do you turn on the wrong turn signal?
You must be driving drunk
@@Leotheconstructionguy Watch the Video...
At the end of the off ramp His right Turn signal was On.. He made a left turn to go over the Bridge while the Right signal was still flashing...
And probably With his lights on bright.
I just seen Bonnie in Wyoming day before yesterday
Quick question who is Braxton texting he always pounding away on his phone gf??????? Great job guys
He’s got a gf but won’t admit it
Her dad owns a trucking company as well
His banker.
We need you in Canada!!!❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Sell it to Bruce it will match his fleet and now he moved to are neck of the woods he will be getting a lot of service for towing around here especially if he beats ez tow prices and a few other tow crooks around here
I think outside of the wrecker, rooster, and johnny cash, bonnie is my favorite truck of Tims
