Don’t let your wants outweigh your needs. Do what is best for your business brother.
Make the business bigger and then he can get even better trucks
Trucks come and go , Business first !
Not much of a choice. A truck that can make money now, with any driver or spend money on a truck you can't trust anyone with. Trade it for the simple fact it is more practical. Keep up the good work.
Naw I wouldn't trade the truck its not even a even trade personally the truck is a content maker between rooster and Shubert we personal would love then to be your two personal trucks I wouldn't want to see it go whatever you don't want on that truck put it on rooster
Trade the truck , it’s exactly what you need to haul boats anywhere . I love your truck too, but it has to make money for you not sit around . 😊Good luck buddy , I look forward to your videos, been a fan since day one !
Go for the trade Tim it’s a clean truck
TRADE FOR THE 388 AND BUILD CASHFLOW WORKING THAT TRUCK WITH A DRIVER... THEN ... 29:33 That BEAUTIFUL 9300 Eagle right there NEEDS SOME LOVE. The interior is PERFECT! Just needs a few things
Hay Tim you have come a long way and I am all so glad for you and. Your families doing awesome jobs and work you Steve are the only ones I thank that show real life of a trucking business glod will be with you all way's if you keep your faith in him and love for him Tim you've come along Way since I've been watching your channel and I love your friendship love all of you awesome keep up the good work thanks your friend and fan Thomas from Franklin Ohio Warren county Ohio
Coming from an Ole 66 year old man. Tim you are an inspiration to us
I think making the trade is the better business decision. Like you were saying, Sherbert is going to require a lot of work to be able to get in and out of marinas. Sounds like a great deal
TRADE FOR THE 388 AND BUILD CASHFLOW WORKING THAT TRUCK WITH A DRIVER... THEN ... 29:33 That BEAUTIFUL 9300 Eagle right there NEEDS SOME LOVE. The interior is PERFECT! Just needs a few things
Trade, Get your business , shop , everything rollin.... Pet projects can come later and your son will be able to help build another truck.
TRADE FOR THE 388 AND BUILD CASHFLOW WORKING THAT TRUCK WITH A DRIVER... THEN ... 29:33 That BEAUTIFUL 9300 Eagle right there NEEDS SOME LOVE. The interior is PERFECT! Just needs a few things
Steve , the operator who owns ORWELL , thanks the world of you Tim
SO HAPPY FOR YOU TIM. STAY SAFE.
You can always fill the want list at a later date. Right now you have to take care of business and keep the company going for you, the family and your employees families. God bless ya'll.
Do it
Go with the trade Tim!! No brainer! I know it sucks having a dream truck and then letting it go but you can always buy a better one later on down the road boss man godbless !! 🙏🏻
I think that you should make the trade to put more units in operation and making strides towards your business goals. You can always get yourself another stellar truck at a later time once the dust settles. Some times you need to make a small sacrifice in order to get what needs to be done today to better set you up for a better future.
Your business is your life youtube is just your fun showing us what you do
If that ISX isn’t going to annoy you, with all things considered having spent money on a new Detroit motor, and the fire; I’d be looking at recouping losses with a practical, workhorse truck that can make some money. You can always spice up Rooster, and still plenty of time to build a show truck. That double frame would be a useful asset.
considering the condition of the 388 and the fact it is a short hood and considering the application you need it for, go for it.
Do the trade Tim .... You Rock. Nice to see the green truck working 👍👍👍
Make the best decision for your business. Love watching you.
You better trade the truck you would be crazy not too. Ready to work 😊
There's always more Sherberts out there; make the trade - business first these days
Tim, Nice to see the Coranado going
Thanks for the help
Make the deal!!! being sentimental doesn't pay the bills and in the long haul that truck will cost you less money and less headaches
Tim I genuinely think its the most fiscally responsible decision to trade for the 388 and that Cummins sounds pretty sweet man and its perfect for your Canadian endeavors. I love Sherbet but that’s the deal y’all need right now. You will undoubtedly have other super sweet rigs no doubt!
No its not sherbert is worth way more then that truck.
I just love that breakdown truck , that would save you recovery and money brilliant Tim
I seen where the frame was bent back there on the end a little bit but that's something that happens to many trucks and we always used either a real big come along or a couple of short pieces of chain with a ratchet dog to fix it...
I am leaning towards keeping Sherbet. But like you said, it would be good for your business. Hoping to see Brax again soon also. Stay safe everyone.
Brother Tim, follow your heart on trading trucks. Do what benefits you and your company the most.
And the family
@@Hurst_Hemi Agree
Man that service truck is rad awesome 😊looks like a game changer
Looks like a cool looking truck to me. And the double frame is a plus too.
Do the deal Tim. Right now it's more important to get as many trucks on the road making money as possible.
Trade it ...its a smart move for your money. You can always get another nice one when you get flush again.
Go for it Tim! The 388 is a fine truck.
It looks like a perfect trade for the future of your family business 🇬🇧👍keep on trucking 🔥
Trade it brother. There will always be another show truck!
Glad to see the green rig running I wouldn't trade sherbet but that's up to you Tim we support your choice
Thats a clean Pete! Looks like a really good deal.
Do what benefits your business and your family. Their is always room for a dream truck later. God bless and keep it up Brother. You and your family are a true inspiration.
Do the trade, sherbert is cool and is eye catching, but it needs painted and other things, that truck will make you money tomorrrow!
Tim, I think the smart choice would be to go for the swap, the shorter wheelbase compared to some of the other trucks out there, plus it being ready for the road versus Sherbert needing work before it hits the road. The cabovers are the king of short wheelbase, but to have a shorter conventional truck available would be a versatile choice.
Sherbert is ready for the road.
@@jerrywilcox9890 I was thinking that too. It may not be show quality as Tim wants but can use it for now and fix it up when get another truck on the road. Also I'm curious as Tim was selling those 2 refer units and now he's trading a flatbed it sounds like for a refer. He can make more use of the flatbed then yet another refer to sell.
TRADE FOR THE 388 AND BUILD CASHFLOW WORKING THAT TRUCK WITH A DRIVER... THEN ... 29:33 That BEAUTIFUL 9300 Eagle right there NEEDS SOME LOVE. The interior is PERFECT! Just needs a few things
Engine sounds great!
Make shore you are doing the right thing don't ruch into it. Staysafe keep on trucking
I hate to see ya get rid of your Sherbert but I think trading would serve y’all better now and in the long run. You can always get another show truck when y’all build back up!! Much Love and God Bless!!
At the moment you have to do whats right for the company , yes i love sherbert and with work could be a great truck but not really one you can put a driver in ,do the swap and get rooster sorted as miss you in that truck . Great to see the cornardo up and running and cant wait to see it back on the channel
I love the old dashes on those units.
Business wise, it's the smart thing to do. Trade and make that money. Good to see the green one up and running. Stay safe and catch yas on the next one.
The condition of the 388 and it’s a short hood which is what you need now, and the big part, you feel the two trucks are equal in value, go for the trade brother… great videos!!!
Go for it Tim. Smart business choice
Heck ya boys you know it's a good day when you hear that
Tim I would do the trade sherbet is a beautiful truck but it still needs a lot of work done before you can put it to work and the other truck can go straight to work that would be the best business decision for you and your family keep up with the great content
I think the trade is a good idea since it’s a Canada spec truck it’s a short double framed truck so no matter what it goes under wether it be a reefer unit rgn or boats it suits the job. Personal opinion it’s a better truck for the fleet since you don’t have to worry about the length, fenders, or visor. Also as you said you can put a driver in it so it will make money for the company faster than sherbert since that would be a truck that you or your dad would drive
TRADE FOR THE 388 AND BUILD CASHFLOW WORKING THAT TRUCK WITH A DRIVER... THEN ... 29:33 That BEAUTIFUL 9300 Eagle right there NEEDS SOME LOVE. The interior is PERFECT! Just needs a few things
Thanks for the shirt man the fabric is so comfortable
It looks like a good working track and a nice ride
Just make the trade, it make sense. You can always find a nice Peterbilt, especially in with all the older owners that are currently retiring.
Keep what you have you know what you've got with it this one you don't know! 👍👍
Steve, I said the same thing the first time this trade came up. I'm leaning the other way if they can better inspect this trade in day light and verify those low miles for that year🤔.
A 250k odometer role back may not be noticable now..........but...,..
All the work on your truck
Tim I honestly feel like this is what your family needs and this would be a good trade!
I would hate to see you trade Sherbert, but I understand you have to do whatever you have to do for the business and it is your choice. That is a clean truck and trailer and it's awesome. Also it's great to see the Green Coronado brought back to life she sounds amazing.
I would do the trade because of how usable that truck is. Awesome video! Glad to see the coranado running again!
Do the trade, do what’s right for the business!!! Looks like a pretty good working truck!!!
Love your channel tim first thing I look for at lunch break are after work while I am having dinner!
Tim the only thing I can say about that ISX, is that most ISX’s we’ve had needed in frames at 500-600k miles.
And most are lucky if they actually make it THAT far. I’ve known several that have went down at under 400k. The truck has just shy of 400k on it now? Wonder why? If you trade that 379 for it, you’ll be sorry
Had one kick the rods at 300k great engines lol said no one ever
@@quackquack6116 they are a good engine when they’re running. They pull great and the engine brakes are top notch. This guy is wanting to swap him a truck that’s well over a decade old but only has 3??,000 miles on it? That’s a major red flag to me. I’m guessing it’s either spent a hell of a lot of time in the shop or the Speedo has been changed and the ecm will say otherwise. Of course the ecm could’ve been replaced also but that’ll be obvious once it’s plugged up to a computer. I’m sure Tim has already made up his mind so no matter what anyone says, he’s gonna trade. Very bad idea!
@@Joe_Hunt_Musicyeah trading for that truck is an awful idea, it already has a rebuilt 60 series that he knows is top notch. To trade it for a truck that probably needs an Inframe done in the next year or so. Personally I’d sell the truck for cash, or I would’ve traded for that westernstar with cash on top and put the cash towards another truck or towards buying a new shop.
@@michaels4683 I told him I’d come and drive that orange and white truck for him and I could’ve fixed things on it while making both of us some money with it. He could’ve had a driver with just shy of 30 years with extreme electrical knowledge. That’s the third time we had talked about me coming over to work for him and once again I never heard another word and my calls and messages went unanswered. Oh well.
go for it tim do the trade.
do what you feel is best for you Tim.
My son love your videos to 👍 He drivs trucks to her in Sweden. He drives Scania and Volvo Trucks. He is 22years old.Keep on trucking 👍👍👍
I would trade it makes business sense looks like a really clean truck we stand behind you with what ever you decide
The thing I like about the 2011 Pete is that it is double framed i is a good enough trade
Never think with emotions and never get attached to any truck. The smart decision is to make the trade and put the truck to work. Having regular trucks that you can put any driver in is the wise business description.
Listening to your conversation while you were looking at that truck you know what you need to do for yourself, your family and your business. It's got a good reefer and also the reefer business is good money. MAKE THE TRADE!
Way to kick off Friday! Gentry and son right after work
Junk in, Junk out...... 🤦
Hey Tim, you said that you were going to take the first load to Canada, and you may be gone a month making deals, because you want to go Worldwide, what happened?
Your BIG parts raffle was supposed to be held this week, what happened?
That old 388 Pete looks like it would fit right in with your operation. 😏
Those chrome pipes on your aftercooler look super cool, forget about the other things .......😎
I'm pretty sure u know the right choice brother... ur a smart fella
go on and make the trade Tim, showtrucks don't pay the bills, worktrucks do, earn some money now and maybe later on if you would like a nice fancy truck you could build your own, that would even make for great content to 😉, greatings from Belgium✌
I'd do the trade, build the business back up quicker but I'd love to see a build like sherbert in the future but with your touch on it, bc that's one aggressive lookin truck, call the next one the Tim Gem lol
TRADE FOR THE 388 AND BUILD CASHFLOW WORKING THAT TRUCK WITH A DRIVER... THEN ... 29:33 That BEAUTIFUL 9300 Eagle right there NEEDS SOME LOVE. The interior is PERFECT! Just needs a few things
Way to go Tim. Truck sounds good 👍. Let's see her out on the road making some money. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming, see you on the next one.
Work always comes before play because without work we can't afford play
Your first international load awesome
Go for it tim the truck seems pretty clean so i'll say do it
Tim if you want to trade do it I think it would be a good choice because you can put it on the road without you behind the wheel gitter done
Do what’s best for you and the business. Keep trucking.
Make the trade Tim. You know better than anyone your business plan and what will work!💪
If the trade makes sense for business, by all means pull that trigger! Brax hasn’t been in the last couple videos, we miss him!
Your needs are more important right now than your what's. You can always get another custom truck.
Tim, do the ol' football coach technique. Get a big white board & sit it in front of you entire crew. Draw a line down the middle & at the top left write Reasons to Trade. At the top right write Reasons Not To Trade. Get ALL the reasons until there is no more for either side, then just sit back and stare at the board. Your decision is sitting in front of you!!
I'm so glad to see the coranado finally running. It is definitely one of my favorites in your fleet. I would definitely run that truck for you if I was one of your drivers.
Tim it’s probably going to cost you more to redo sherbet than do the trade….
Go for the trade
Glad to see you got the green truck almost ready to go back on the road sounds good with dd motor & i think the trade would be good for business cuz haulin boats can get heavy but talk over withall involved & then sleep on it & make a informed decision!!!
Hay Tim glad you and your families doing awesome keep up the good 👍 work up see I told you god would fake you along way and he will take you fother you just keep your faith in him your friend Thomas from Franklin Ohio Warren county Ohio
Awesome video, Tim. I'm with you, Tim, whatever you decide, brother .Detroit sounds good 👍
I honestly think you should keep sherbert it has been a awesome truck for the business 💯
Tim as much as we love sherbert and would love to see the finished product you and only you have to make the best decision for your family and company ❤️
Definitely a good business call
Keep it going TIM I believe In you brother
Needs always come before wants, so if the trade is better for your business then do it. You can always get another nice truck like Sherbert one day, hell I'm waiting to see what ole Rooster looks like once its put fully back together(I know it might be awhile for it to be finish). Anyways if its something you NEED for your business then get it. Gotta do what's best for your business brother keep truckin!
Keep Sherbert it going to be a great advertising pillar for your company. You cant miss that truck when it rolls by.
I thought the same thing until I noticed he's already got some real lookers in his fleet. Copper top is significantly better shape, a set of tubs, and you'd have a comparable rig exterior wise.
Don't let your heart rule your mind brother 💯 take the trade best of luck from 🇨🇮
A man gotta do what a man gotta do 😉. I'd pull the trigger on the trade, but in the end. I'm not making a living with it. Good luck, an great content guys ☺️.
As a 13 year old I am big into the trucking industry my dad drives a truck and has for a long time. I have worked for a trucking company out of Indiana. I personally think you should trade for that 388 considering the mileage and condition. As you said you could insure it put tags on it and stick a driver in it next week. It doesn't look as good as sherbert. But aint nothing a visor and stacks can't fix. That is just my opinion. Stay strong and Truck On!!
Go for the trade
keep the one you got youll be happy you did
Glad to see the green truck getting back together, Dewey will be glad to get his truck back all freshened up. Sherbert is a nice truck, but right now you need a workhorse ready for work to keep the cash flow especially with buying new motor and trying to get a new shop built
It doesn't matter what people say you are going to do what you want to do ! You change your tune every time the wind blows ! Everytime you buy a truck its your dream truck then a couple video's later you are selling it or stripping it for parts ! At the beginning it was all about cabovers, now you have what 2 on the road !
Right? He had that w900 and was always bragging about how much he loved it and it was such a good truck. A truck that could have been earning money on the road and he traded it for another cab over that probably doesn’t get used.
He’s about to get his ass burned in a bad way. A 13 year old truck with under 400k miles? That’s a huge red flag
@@Mclint9171 to be fair, I've passed that International cabover that he traded the W9 for a few times. Most recent saw it 2/7/23 hauling boats heading south on 395 in WA
