Make sure your phone works up there. Call credit card company about travel plans. Take passport. It’s really cold so take more blankets. Chains for ice, snow. Snow brush, extra washer fluid. No guns sadly. Crossing border takes a lot of time. Drivers with past arrests within 10 years will have trouble crossing.

And many even extra fuel filter and a way to drain your air dryer. Currently temp is fluctuating from mince 6 to 20.phil from Canada cheers.

Hey Tim, I’ve ran across the Canadian border multiple times they do have a length restriction on your tractor depending on the providence as you go to if you go to the East Providence, your trucks must be ECM restricted the entire way. I believe it’s 65 miles an hour you can’t go any faster and you have to have proof of that Hass to be done through the dealership with documentation or you can probably do it with your computer and just provide documentation if you’re delivering into Canada make sure you have your ace manifest and you’re scheduled prior a couple hours prior were they will charge you a fine coming out. Make sure you have an ace manifest with your loaded. We’re empty people are right it’s a lot it’s a pain usually have issues with US customs get yourself a US customs transponder cause the US charges you are used to be $15 every time you cross the border and you get a transponder from US customs for that

Drive that truck up to Canada with it Black Smoking like that and the Canadian Government will IMPOUND that thing so fast it’ll make your head spin……..I wouldn’t go SHOWBOATING pouring out BLACK SMOKE when you’re passing through the border!!!! They’ll also FINE you and you won’t be able to afford the fine!

You'll love trucking here in Canada Tim. And it might be worth looking up Sergei Dratchev. He's a RUclipsr as well in the Calgary area I believe but he use to haul heavy and oversized loads across the border. He has just recently changed careers to the brokerage side of the business but he could definetly have some useful knowledge for you for border crossings.

Hey Tim, glad to see you recovering from the fire. I hauled crude oil into canada before Covid. I didn't have any issues with there DOT. Crossing in to Canada was easy. Just have your paperwork filled out correctly. It would be less than 5 minutes to cross. Coming back across was a bigger pain. I believe the other comments are correct about the shroud on the stacks. Also fuel is outrageous up there. Keep you trucks in top shape up there. I ran a 4 axle tractor with a lift axel and 4 axle trailer. Canada does not count the lift axle on the tractor. You would have to leave that axle up at all times. The trailer counted in your combo. Keep digging and working hard. You got this.

You know why the Freedom Convoy existed, right? It was because Trudeau was forcing truckers going between the United States and Canada to get jabbed to even reenter this country from theirs and vice versa. It was very sad what happened to them in the end that put me in tears because they were doing something right for the good of us all that their evil government destroyed.

    Junk in, Junk out 🤷
Tim, that truck looks terrible, both inside and out, and your priority is to take the factory mufflers and stacks off, and replace them with aftermarket stacks, so you can hear it, and watch it smoke, forget about the mechanics, I wanna hear that Jake Brake! They look like a good place to get a 2nd degree burn 🔥 to me....🤔
"We got some lights on it, and we got stacks on it"
"We're going to Canada, I want to go Worldwide"
Worldwide, really Tim, you might want to brush up on your Geographical knowledge, and take a look at a world map, I'm just sayin.....🤦
It's amazing how your trucks accelerate when bob-tailing, I'm pretty impressed. Is that a knock I hear in that Detroit?
Good luck in Canada, you're gonna need it, or maybe some divine intervention would be better......
