Mr Tim sorry your driver that got side swiped had to even deal with that bull mess but glad he's ok. Having a good dash Cam is a must for the very reason that you guys just went through. Roll easy Mr Tim 🇺🇲

Hey Tim. Truck looks good on the road. Those new engines don’t like to idle at all. Always leave it on high idle. It has to keep the exhaust temps up to keep it happy. Here in the UK you have to have side cameras fitted as well as extra mirrors so the driver has clear all round vision, a lot of company's also fit a cab cam that records what's going on inside as well. All trucks are limited to 56 MPH and all trucks have a Tachograph that records you speed and your hours, you have a digi card with all your details on which you put in at start of your duty. You have to download your card every week. You can drive 9hrs a day and with breaks you can do a max 15 shift 3 times a week, also you can do 2 x 10 hour drives in a week but no more than 90 over 2 weeks. Weekend breaks are 45 hours and you can reduce to 24 hrs but you must payback the hrs by week 3. Minimum rest is 9 hrs on a 15 hr shift all other is 11hrs.
I’m not driving now but have logged over 3/4 million miles without a chargeable accident. Wish I could have had a dash cam back then but thankfully that need never happened. Y’all keep up the good work!! Wish I had the best truck I’ve ever driven. ‘96 KW T600 with an N14 Cummins turned up with a 10 speed transmission. It would climb every hill it saw in 9th gear.
