Great review - why has this reader not gotten more attention? All I see are the Boox, Remarkable 2, and now Kindle Scribe...just curious - thanks!
This has me wishing it was on the market when I bought my Nova Air!
That said, I'm still wanting to try out a Note Air 2 for reading my textbooks
Please can you determine whether this device will allow a work profile on android (through Google Play)? the Boox NOva 3 color for example won't allow school or work accounts to be used on the device as they don't support a work profile so you can't operate your school or work based apps. :-(
Location setting ? Does it work with google maps or waze ? Have internal GPS ? (Using smartphone wifi tethering for maps data like car android head units)
I am a little confused on these devices as I want want that writes well and can send the notes i take to my Mac but don't want to get confused with those that read only. I do not need a lot of extra top of the line functions. A goof feel with writing would be nice. i did not know there
were so many of them.
Can it feat with different type of pencil?
Which band can use?(ex wabcom pencil ? )
Thank you for your videos on ereaders. I've been looking through all of them to find the perfect fit for me but I need specific features and I'm not sure which device has them all. Maybe you could help me? I appreciate. This is what I'm looking for:
1. Audio reading/text to voice, most of the time I will read books on PDF in my phone with an app that reads the text out loud.
2. Android to be able to access my files anywhere from Google drive.
3. Android keyboard, I don't really use pens for taking notes or handwriting, I like the swipe Android keyboard.
4. Split screen, I need visual organisation so I'm more comfortable taking notes of my books on the side on a separate sheet.

Curious to see how Google Play apps function on this device. Does it have app optimization settings like Onyx?
Does it really have GPS? ( about 2:20 in). I can't seem to find a full specifications anywhere.

everytime you show manga, there are GIGANTIC margins around it.... can that be fixed? do you have to manually zoom in on every single page?
I wish you test some two column PDF files on these devices. I like to read my papers on a E-ink device
can it run Microsoft one note smoothly?
It doesn't work well with Bluetooth headphones. For instance, Scribed will not play any audiobooks while the Meebook P78 Pro is paired with Bluetooth headphones.
How does this compare to the m6 which would you recommend
Can anyone tell me how many physical speakers the p78 pro has please? I can only hear clearly from the left hand side port! I have tried the Android Left Right Ear & Speaker Test App, and only the LH side appears to work. The only sound coming from the RH side appears to be the LH side sound coming through the case!
The reveiw is not answering my question. how it would rotate the page when the reader is tilted to the side

Uuuuuuggghhh I want one of these soo bad. My Likebook P6 is my favorite e reader of all time because of its flexibility but the screen got shattered by my cat
Do you know if it's little brother P78 will get the android update on android 11?
Here is the reply posted a week ago on their Facebook page: "As there is some hardware limitation on P78, it will be hard to upgrade to a higher android version. But we will keep to update the FW for a better using experience😋 Thank you for your kind support as always😘"

Hi all, what do you suggest to buy between this and the onyx leaf? The leaf has more style indeed, but the boyue seem more complete on functionality (and one inch larger). What do you think?
The Leaf is not really for note taking

@@goodereader that's sort of expected since even the official website says pre orders in February will be shipped in march, and I placed the order yesterday but should I expect to get it in march or in the start of april or should I expect to wait longer?
After you fill out everything in the portal and check the "I'm not a robot" box it still says "This field is required" beneath the box

If it is like my P10, you can change the TTS to Google TTS, which is slightly better. For dictionaries, you can sideload dictionaries by copying over a dictionary in MOBI format into the dict folder. I just hope they continue to support the likebook P10 with system updates.

P10, p6, p78 all have same support

When you deal with the device that has a battery powered active capacitive pen, unfortunately your options are extremely limited
You might find a little bit of crossover with things like the Microsoft surface, ellipsa, etc, but for the most part you are stuck with the pen that you have :-(
Can one get replacement nibs?
Sorry, some vloggers claim this does not have palm rejection. Is this true? I want an e-ink for drawing. Help, please
Yes, I was watching to hear if it did but the reviewer didn't mention palm rejection (or not) at all. ☹☹
@@ajwalker4416 , it has palm rejection, but it needs to be activated when one needs to write or draw. It's in the tab with the native note-taking app.
The zooming in part is now the onky mystery to me. I just need this because I don't think I need layers and all.

It has Android 11 on it and the Google Play store so as long as it's compatible with that then it should work.

U can refresh the screen in all e ink devices... That is normal

I discovered that e-ink has no burn in. Does that mean e-ink will last forever? I suppose it will. Because none of the structure that the e-ink screen is will have changed. It is still there just the screen. Am I right???
There apparently is gradual degradation of the individual ink cells each time they are cycled. Contrast will slowly reduce and some pixels may become stuck.
Maybe not forever but I have a Kindle 3G that I purchased in 2011 and it's still going strong with no stuck pixels that I can see.

Damn e-reader fans really are living in the past. Resolution and framerate are a huge L, wait until they see what modern phones can do.
I don't even have an e reader, but if the experience is closer to paper indeed are much better for reading than any phone.
