    I was diagnosed with endometrial precancerous cells in my late 30s and I wasn’t fat, I’m actually pretty skinny. My doctor said it’s very rare for my age to have that. The doctor said because of my young age, she doesn’t want to do a hysterectomy. Instead I took a lot of progesterone meds. It got cleared and I’m told no guarantee that it won’t return. After a year or 2, I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 0. It was thanks to my Dr who really monitored me closely so it was discovered very early. It’s been 20 years and I have several other biopsies whenever there are suspicious result from ultrasound and Pap smears . Same treatment with me. So many biopsies in 2 years. So tiring. I don’t even want babies anymore after knowing my diagnosis. It would only pass on to my child.

      I’m so sorry you’ve been through that! I’m so grateful for my situation only having a tiny polyp and never having it again so far (almost 4 years now). I’m glad I had a boy so I don’t have to worry about passing on endometrial cancer to him at all especially considering I tested negative for Lynch Syndrome meaning my cancer is NOT genetic and can’t be passed down anyway.

    Thanks for this video. I was diagnosed with stage 1 uterine cancer. I was advised to do have my uterus & ovaries removed. I found out about a hormonal treatment that shows > 70% chance of recovery. I qualified for the treatment bc there are certain requirements to be met. The docs never told me about this option. I agree with you 100% that we need to do our homework & trust our gut feeling. I also believe in my case its sent as a sign for my good. Im 100% certain i will heal & won't have to remove anything. The docs recommend removal after given birth which i def won't be doing once i am free of cancer. Got my biopsy dec 21st. Blessings to you & all that r going through sth similar

    I am so happy for you Sara. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer just two weeks ago , I got a cat scan 2 days ago for my pelvis and chest and now I have to wait 11 more days to see the doctor and I am afraid of what she will say. I have no pain or anything like that just the abnormal bleeding, I never thought they would tell me I have cancer when I went to see the gyno for that.
    It's very hard waiting and today I did so much research and reading that is only put more fear in me. I have been pretty calm till today, today I just feel pretty scared. Your video however made me feel a little better, thanks and I hope you stay well my dear! Hugs!

    Hi Sara, Thanks for uploading this video. I have been diagnosed with endometrial cancer as well, and is now going through conservative treatment with a hormonal IUD. I have a question: when you did your IVFs (I think you did IVF twice), did you still have your hormonal IUD in or was it removed when you did IVFs? TIA.

    • @SaraMaria83
      @SaraMaria83  3 года назад +1

      Oh my goodness I am so so sorry you are going through this. I can definitely empathize with you and know all the feelings you are going through 🧡To answer your question, I actually never even made it to the point of getting an IUD. After my first D&C results showed no cancer, I immediately did my first egg retrieval the following month. Then I had my second D&C 2 months later and it was still negative for cancer so I went into prepping for my embryo transfer. I believe you can keep an IUD in while going through an egg retrieval though. Just not when you’re ready for a transfer. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can do to provide support 🧡

So far my doctors haven't addressed it and just want to schedule my hysterectomy 🙄 Not sure why I have fluid, I'm so frustrated with the 'system' it's insane.
