- Look it up on Amazon and you'll find Boat bench seats in the neighborhood of $5-600. I did a little renovation with a simple cooler that looks great on the boat, doesn't have a back, but not sure it needs one. If you're looking to get waterproof storage, a battery compartment, or whatever else and want a cooler as a compartment, see what I did to offset the cost.
Glad to see cooler opening to the rear. Lost a lot of ice having it face the wrong way. Good Fishing!
Ha ha, I may have learned the hard way
Prime time to be on the water!! Looking forward to a catch, clean, and cook out the new boat!
Thanks for watching Wade, no the pressure will be on...to catch fish! LOL
You know, Just an idea you could get a low voltage computer fan to pull heat out. Connect to battery with a switch to turn off and on. Your idea is amazing I did the same thing because of you. But with the fan :) Thanks for the money saving idea.
lol, sounds awesome!
Great info! I've been scratching my head for months trying to figure out how I could replace the old rotten bench seat in my J16 without spending an arm and a leg. Thanks!
I had the same thing...the unique thing about the J Series, is they are great boats and super easy to renovate! I wish mine was a J 16, 14 is a bit small, but I may do another one.
Need to caulk around boards again you have holes water can get in but will have a hard time escaping
Thanks for the input, appreciate the help
GREAT IDEA....
my god man
