I always cringe when this song comes on. Not because it's bad, but because of how GOOD it is at creating a disturbing atmosphere. Of all things, it reminds me of Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima by Penderecki... horror as a musical genre.
Oh, yeah! Good ear you have. :) I just got that song up on another tab, and you know, you're right! It's like this is the sci-fi version of that song, and that one is the Western-ish version of this one, in a way. :D
I bought the original sound track on steam, but I'm surprised that there is no version of this song, or any song, with Red humming to it. I thought for sure that the original sound track would have first half being the song, and then Red would start humming to it for the second half. Is there a way to get the "Red version"?
I know I am six years late but others may come here with the same question: You can listen to all hummed tracks, glitchy tracks, and instrumental versions of tracks with lyrics in the extended OST.
One of the best fitting songs to its part of the game.

The Pyroge in my personal opinion, shudder would've been a more descriptive word, but it isn't my comment.
