Supreme Grandmaster Diony Cañete | Usapang Arnis Ep. 5

Supreme Grandmaster Diony Canete of Doce Pares HQ was one of the individuals responsible for shifting the practice of Arnis from street brawls to sport-oriented formats. He is credited for being the first to develop full-body armour for tournament sparring that is still used in competitions today by organisations such as WEKAF International and Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation.
