Hands down my favorite projector review I’ve seen on RUclips. Too many guys talk too much about the tech specs and not enough of actually showing you - look, this is what it looks like in a room, so you can potentially relate to/envision in your own space - subscribed!
First of all, I love your reviews, I also have this projector and is great, colors, contrast, brightness look beautiful, and VAVA is working on the 3D option which we should have very soon. I highly recommend this projector 😃😎.
The black levels here look amazing. I just got mine and have been messing with settings but can't get anything close to yours. Can you share these settings?
Issues with this projector: -CEC doesn't work right to turn this off with a Chromecast and Google assistant. Just crashes the video input app. -Android TV is very slow to boot, and takes many times as long as a normal TV. -With fast moving light colored objects, there is a trail of rgb color artifacts, the "rainbow" effect that many mention, which isn't present on 3lcd projectors. The sound bar is okay, and nice for convenience, short throw is cool, but for the price tag I don't think it's worth it.
Could someone please kindly let us know from what height the projector creates 120 inch projected screen, say when projector is placed on the floor? The reason I ask is that I need to know how large a projected size I can have with my ceiling height available to me.
i need to buy . but the thing is i need it for pc gameing so still i dont no if this will be great . i dont play online . any advise for projector for PC gaming using rtx2080ti
a lot of marketing going on to promote the Vava, but on Amazon there are many negative reviews of the Vava including poor customer service. Where is the response to all these complaints??
Didn't hear anything about the fan noise beside the DB output, if it's not your first projector review we would expect a little more on that aspect , to be improved ...

all things tech You my good sir underestimate the internet. Also please do a head to head comparing the Vava UST with the Optoma P1 UST I really don’t mind a 45 Minute video on this as I am torn between the two wondering if the extra cash for the Optoma is worth it over the Vava for my use case.
Ust = ultra short throw meaning you dont have to set it way in the back of the room and. .....omg I just fell for the trivia question lol !!@ well mb I will win the prize hah
Not usable as a center channel is a HUGE fumble . . . ? Seriously, think about it VAVA, what kind of person spends $2-3+K on a display and doesn't at least spend $400 to thousands on sound . . . ? Now you could argue that someone spending say $1500+ wouldn't want to use this as a center, but I would say: I'm that person and this is the only thing keeping me from purchasing this unit.
5,000 on a 77inch Oled,, or put that money into projector and screen 🤔. 77inch oled is getting the best blacks and details in the world.. but 100inches ➕!!!! Like really if you have the space get a 120inch screen , why get 100 and think Ooops after the fact. 120 inch 4 meters away.. my god. PS But what about dark movies being too dark as per another review?

Can you whatch it during the day? How does it look when you have daylight in the room?

I think I want one of these now. I have a dark room with a blank wall I can paint. A 120" screen is 2X the area of a 85" TV

When you turn on HDMI 2.0 and cec does your picture get noticable darker? I am using a firestick

Can u pls make a comparison between VAVA and LG ust projector..
I wouldn't say almost perfect. 1080p projectors from Epson with a 3lcd chip that cost 1/3 don't have the rainbow effect and turn on faster.
Would you say the image is noticeably brighter than the Xiaomi Mijia TV?

I had a jmgo for a few days(it broke afterwards :-( ). Just got the VAVA and the picture is top notch just like the jmgo. (maybe better)
