To those who were asking about the music and visual choices, yes, most of the music tracks on here were from Pokemon. (:
Specifically:
Intro - Mt. Coronet [Pokemon Diamond/Pearl]
Aftermath sequence - The Future [Pokemon Mystery Dungeon EoD/EoT/EoS]
I personally thought these tracks fit the mood of the video, which is why I put them in there.
As well as the visual effects, such as the ATC brief, Radio helped me come up with a better setup for the sequence, which I felt greatly amplified the atmosphere of the video. Also, it was her idea to add air raid sirens for the aftermath, which I loooooved! It really topped off the setting for the conclusion.
Anywho though, I can say this was my most fun EAS Scenario i've worked on, and I could not have made it even more amazing without Radio's insight.
I enjoyed.

I’m a volcano enthusiast and have been studying about volcanoes and rocks since I was in 8th grade. This video would be a great example for a presentation for what would happen if Long Valley erupted. I live near Long Valley by the way, and some of us are concerned about threats like these

Now *THAT'S* the Tom that I would hear on real EAS/NWS alerts. How did you adjust the quality of the message audio? You did great making those sound just like authentic
EAS/NWS messages.
I was the one who did the Tom voices on this scenario. (: The way it sounded on here was my own format of Tom's Voice. You could see on my other videos how it also sounds similar.

This was an amazing story. I loved every bit of it. To be honest, the Long Valley Caldera is very close to me since i live near the volcano, within 170 miles to be exact. I know this is very unlikely going to happen, but if this happens, im basically screwed. Im really am looking foward to your next story. Hopefully it will be the State wide tornado. Ive been looking forward to that since you annonced it. Im very curious on how the story is going to play out and what scientific facts of this hyper twister are going to be in the story. Good job on the story of the Long Valley Caldera 👍

Clever idea to do a different supervolcano! Now someone needs to do Valles Caldera in New Mexico (if I can learn how to do this kind of thing, I will definitely do a scenario based off Valles Caldera).
I’m from New Mexico and I live like 67 miles from Valles Caldera in the Albuquerque Metro area. I would be evacuated if it were to happen when it erupts.

Fact: Sulfur Dioxide mixed with water causes contamination. The same thing happened on Mt. Pinatubo in the Philippines before it blew.

I really don't know how I found these videos but these have been some of the best storytelling videos I have ever seen. It's so easy to get invested and immersed. I don't get scared that easily but maybe it's the EAS tones and events but some of these scenarios chill me to the bone and I love it. I'm just glad the settings are primarily American as the Canadian EAS tone is absolutely terrifying. Anyway, keep up the fantastic work. These are fantastic

The horrific thing is that there too is a supervolcano in Colorado.
The La Garita Caldera.
Imagine Long Valley, Yellowstone and La Garita erupting at the same time.
That would be Ultra Catastrophic, Causing a mass extinction which would cause 75℅ of earth's life to perish.
Oh definitely, it would be hell if that happened. It's scary to think about tbh.

from 12:20 to 14:50 i listened to bad companys "burning sky" while watching that segment, and i feel like such a meme lord. lol
either way, its a great scenario special. :) i would also like to point out, on a much serious note, that by the time either caldera, rather it be yellowstone or long valley, ever reach a eruption, we'd already have colonies on the moon and mars thats able to sustain humanity till the earth warms back up. even micho kaku himself said there is a 10% chance of a eruption in this century, but i highly suspect that would be long after we colonized mars and the moon and turned them into self sustaining colonies. i also wish to point out, that not all eruptions are gonna be that level, some are just gonna be tiny burbs not a pimple gushing out the earths blood and even tho it is due for a cat 7 or cat 8, its gonna be maybe another 200 years before we ever have a eruption of cat 7 or higher from a supervolcano. the last eruption yellowstone had that wasn't big, was in the 1950s, and it was a geology version of a human burp.

A very realistic scenario indeed. How a normal volcano would erupt is normal for one, but a supervolcano would be many, MANY times worse. It could even cause extinction of many species. Nice scenario BTW.
