The film, slated for release from Thursday 11 July, sees The Cure take the stage on a perfect July evening in London’s Hyde Park to deliver a set of a songs celebrating four decades of music making.

I'm not even joking when I say that Roberts voice is the same as in the 80/90's
his voice hasn't aged at all
I close my eyes and hear a 90’s smith. Then I open them up and am utterly shocked to see someone who’s aged but hasn’t missed a step

As a metalhead, going to see The Cure, since this was my wife's favorites back in the day, in 2016 I thought I would suffer a big bore, but I was so pleasantly surprised...What a solid show, I absolutely loved it and bought some albums..I see it :)
Similar story. My wife but at the time girlfriend dragged me to see them in 97. I was more of a grunge fan and had little expectations but they made me eat my words. I still jam them every week:)

I felt the same way. I have been a metalhead since I was 13 years old back in the early '80s. But when it comes to The Cure or New Order, I am taking back how good they really were and still are very good. As a matter of fact I've been listening to that more than I've been listening to heavy metal lately

Pall Aaarrgghh! Odeon in the UK are playing a 40-year anniversary show for their Hyde Park gigs (1978/2018). From what I can see it’s a one-night thing (11th July). Just in case you were interested and have an odeon nearby!
the dvd/cd set comes out in october. it has two concerts.

Robert Smith sounds the same now as he did back in 1981. Incredible how his voice has not changed at all. His appearance may have changed, but his voice still sounds as good as it did when The Cure first started out.
