yes vapor 11 may have higher playability but it is much more heavier shoes than vapor pro2. so direct comparison can't be made there. Vapor 11 is in 15+ oz category and vapor pro 2 is in 14 oz category
Bought after seeing it on the recommended list for ball of foot pain. I added the game day pro insole and it seems my metatarsalgia is now at bay. Thank you for what you do!
I recently re-watched your video on how to find the best fit for sneakers. I have a question about that: can improper posture affect your feet and could it lead to getting your fit wrong? I heard the analogy of your legs being like a pulley system; could bow-leggedness or other factors change how your feet plant on the ground? Not sure if I made sense. Awesome vid btw
How do these shoes compare with other cushioned performance "Speed" shoes like the New Balance 996v5, Diadora B.Icon, and the Yonex Power Cushion Eclipsion 4?
In terms of speedy and stable shoes with proper cushioning, I would sure like to know how these shoes stack up against the Diadora B.Icon, the New Balance 996v5, the Yonex Power Cushion Eclipsion 4, the Lotto Raptor, and the Asics Court FF 3. All of these shoes seem to be going after the all-court player. I would assume from this review, these would be at the bottom of that list. How would you rank them Zach? Any of you faves I am missing?
Awesome review as always. Thank you for the work that you do. How stiff is that outsole rigger? I found the Vapor Pro too stiff with the plastic on the outside of the shoe. Are these as stiff?
How does the length compare from the vapor x to the vapor 11 are these longer like how the pro is longer than the x? I tried on wide versions of vapor pro and they were just too long. I cant wear these either if they are the same length as a pro and not the x
Hey Zach, question for you. From what I can see, most professional players use Nike shoes (I may be wrong though), but your rankings usually have other brands coming out on top of Nike. Is this a marketing thing whereby Nike forked out a ton of money to sponsor all these players? Or do professional players have custom-made shoes with more advance tech? Thanks!
Only the players contracted with them and those that like Nike who dont have another sponsor- its probably a decent minority of players that play in them- they're by no means " bad" just personal preference
Compared to the Vapor Pros, do these shoes feel completely different? They look lifted and don't look as sturdy. They also look exactly like the Nike Tanjun running shoes :[
sorry being a little late in comments, love the reviews there very detailed, did you do a suicide test with these new vapor shoes? what did you get? also do vapor 11s even have any more of a bounce feeling than the vp2's? i know for speed reference there isn't to much help in a straight line as said. thanks!
Love your videos as always Zach, im curious if you could do some digging as to weather nike really are re releasing the vapor 9.5s? Also I'd love to see maybe down the track if you did something like a vapor line comparison say from the vapor 9s right through the vapor 11s (including the vapor pros and vapor knits) and talking about how the shoe has changed and the players they seem to target more these days. Love your work man, keep it up!
Nice looking shoe but two major problems, 1) Danger Zone will easily burn thru quickly for a club player so I guess that why they made the Pro 2. 2) Weight, it’s too heavy. I think your URS rating should add a category for weight. As mentioned below the Vapor should stay true to its name and be light in weight.
Hey Zach! How did you find these shoes over time? I know they did not make your TOP 5 list, but reviews everywhere have been good on the Vapor 11s. I am a big guy with flat feet and looking for something with good cushioning, stability, and quickness for doubles. I am coming from the Mizuno Wave Enfore Tour which lacked a little stability for me. Asics Gel Res 9s killed my foot with that "dynawrap system". KSwiss Hypercourt Supreme too clunky. Adidas Barricade 13 and Lacoste AG LT-23 Ultra were great (nice stability and good quickness on court), but needed a bit more cushioning in the forefoot. Yonex Eclipsion 5 lacked a good lockdown. Do these (hopefully) check ALL the boxes?
Just like GP Turbo, there is zero drag protection at the tip, so many many people will destroy their new Vapor 11s in less than a week, just like I did with GP Turbo. Engineered to break quickly. Tnx for the review, and the weight 👍
I’ve also been extremely disappointed with Nike tennis shoes . Haven’t found a replacement since the zoom zero was discontinued . My feet have been so sore since wearing the new Vapor’s . The foot bed is so hard I actually made a podiatrist appointment because I thought I was having a major foot issue . Stopped wearing and pain gone . Looking for a new brand sadly .

If these are a 2 out of 5 in terms of Speed rating, then Nike has lost its way in the Vapor lineup. The identity of the Vapor was consistently a lightweight, fast shoe. I mean, they're still being released, they're directing these sales in the women's page on Nike and unless you have MASSIVE feet, you can use the women sizing conversion to mens (if you're male) unless you have a problem with the colour ways.
@@amirjon wow! you're right... The last few colourways they went up to size 13 womens but now going to size 10-11... (I am basing this off Nike Australia website) You might be fortunate enough to find some retailers like tennis-warehouse us/europe or such other tennis stores as I googled a few in AU that stock size 11.5 women. Don't be demoralised tho! I am sure the sizing is simply for the current colour ways which are 2021 / 2022 models so maybe with Australian Open around the corner, there will be new colour way(s)

Vapor 9.5s remain the GOAT.
Thats a tough question without an exam - the Powerstep is the most supportive out there and the Move is the most low profile- just depends what you want
@@FootDoctorZach Vapor 9.5 are being rereleased approx 11th Jan according to TW and other sources (unconfirmed if its a limited edition or the line will be made as a regular). I can't wait to try them as I joined the tennis scene when Vapor X were the current shoe line. Love to see you do a review!
P.S Love the spreadsheet and cannot wait for updates :)
Great stability shoe but way too heavy for me.
Me encantaría que tuvieras un canal en español
Непонятно как в полтора раза более дешевые Vapor Pro 2 получили почти вдвое больше баллов, чем Vapor 11
That is a shame because they look great
I’ve come to the realization that tennis shoes plays better outdoor basketball than the basketball shoes
Some
So in short; buy as many gp turbz as possible.
I mean, they're still being released, they're directing these sales in the women's page on Nike and unless you have MASSIVE feet, you can use the women sizing conversion to mens (if you're male) unless you have a problem with the colour ways.
The gp turbo is a very heavy shoe though
@@Anthony-cr5dh Ya I need size in 10 mens which isnt massive but equal to 11.5 in women's which they don't sell online
I am sure the sizing is simply for the current colour ways which are 2021 / 2022 models so maybe with Australian Open around the corner, there will be new colour way(s)
not enough tech to justify the price tag, Nike again not bringing enough to the table, while Asics is pushing the boundaries again with new design.... come one Nike! you can do better than this.
