An incredible place made all the more exciting because of the incredible approach. Awesome mountains and under water aquifers sprouting up from the ground and then the caves. What a day or should I say a drive for you guys. Mark

You missed the hole in the ground next to Bone Caves. Pass Bone Caves, keep left, you'll hear sound of nearby waterfall, just before it you'll find a hole in the ground, that will lead you to chamber where waterfall drops into small lake, take left, on your knees crawl another 200m, it will lead you to another chamber with old wagoons and mining remains. Only for people taking risk as it's easy to get stuck in narrow corridors.
The wagons were made by the people of the Grampian Speleological Group for digging out the end of the cave, I've spent a good few hours with a trowel at the end of the cave filling the wagons to haul the spoils out. It's been about 30 years since I was last there digging at the end of ANUS cave
Part of the biggest cave system in Scotland ,instead of going up to the bones caves stay on the path to the left and you come to the anus cave ( it's an acronym) you can descend easily and spend an hour or so exploring underground there is a crawl into an area called the far side .also in the same area is a small cave where they found the bones of a mother bear and it's cub ,killed when the roof collapsed thousands of years ago. Up above the bone caves is the biggest cave ,need some experience for this one , they say you could fit the Usher hall ( Edinburgh ) into it !
My first exercise with the Scottish Cave Rescue Organisation was in Umah an Claonaite, was a very long day and the poor "victim" had to be rushed to the surface half way through the exercise as he was getting under cooled. It is still one of my best memories as it was my first descent into Claonaite and the cooperation needed to get the stretcher back to the surface. Hard to believe it was more than 30 years ago, time has flown past since.
So Lisa dodges carrying the rucksack but has to run back for the camera, sounds fair to me. Nice one folks, I haven't been up there yet but surely will one day.
Alan Methven hahaha cheers 🍻.. my thoughts exactly!! 😂🤣 Well worth the visit and a nice short walk to stretch your the legs. Thanks for watching and stay safe! 🥾🦠🤛
How disappointing fast forward to the end and the camera footage was blury .sound was too low.couldnt hear you in the caves and was that it..not a minute in the caves .😳😔
