    Nice video short to the point.
    I have this razor after falling off the Gillette wagon 23 years ago.
    Went to an estate sale and found this exact same razor new in the box. Thought I'd give it a try.
    The improvement over the Mach 3 after 23 years of engineering is substantial.
    I'm impressed with this razor.
    One thing I notice is the lack of razor burn. Sometimes with a double-edge razor I can be a little too aggressive in certain places in my face and it leaves it a little tender.
    Not with this razor.
    I know a lot of people will hate on Gillette while shaving with a double edge razor.
    But hey I'm team Gillette all the way.

    After all these years of avoiding Gillette I finally tried one and looked at prices and I gotta say they really are quality and it’s not as expensive as I had imagined. Cheaper razors wear out faster. Your shave won’t be as smooth. You’ll probably spend more time and cut yourself. Most other razors besides Gillette and Harry’s cut my face anyways.

    • @markuskass6199
      @markuskass6199 3 месяца назад +1

      I'm been using the Mach 3 and it's still the best cartridge razor I have ever used in terms of price/performance ratio. I find having three blades is the sweet spot. Another important thing would be to use a shaving cream or shaving gel and properly lathering up your skin. Improper shaving technique like just straight up dry shaving is much more likely to give you plenty of nick and cuts thus causing skin irritation especially in area such as your face which have some of the most thin and sensitive spot of your body.

    • @Odinarcade00
      @Odinarcade00 3 месяца назад

      @@markuskass6199 I wouldn’t dream of not using gel. I used aveeno for like a decade but it’s boring. I tried some cheap edge sensitive skin gel and it was okay but ended up irritating my face. I actually switched to the Gillette labs shaving cream with b3 and sea kelp. It has menthol but it’s not crazy at all. And it makes my face feel baby bottom smooth! No irritation or redness. But with the Mach 3 you’re probably absolutely right. If you were to say that any 3 blade razor cartridge was good I might disagree because for me the bic 3 blade was garbage. I really didn’t even like the dollar shave club 4 blade. But the legend of the Mach 3 is so great I’m almost tempted to try one. I got the Gillette labs razor because I liked the chrome and the stand and then found out that Gillette is the most expensive but also the easiest to use. I find it easier to use than Harry’s. And so by extension I’m also thinking the Mach 3 would be sufficient since Gillette just makes good blades and you’re right it’s so much cheaper. Let me ask you a Mach 3 question. Which handle do you find to be the best out of Mach 3? Just in case I switch after I run out of blades. The only concern I would have is that Gillette claims the blades don’t last as long as the five blade system but that could also be marketing? Or just the fact that maybe more blades=more sharp edges= lasts longer.
