By the time we ge the gurney the roof will be on and getting to the rails will mean taking apart the back of the car to get access to them. Loving the build as all ways. Stay safe all.
I just figured out something useful. Perhaps it has been mentioned. Use Gorilla tape to hold down wires. I tested it, wires stay put and it is not hard at all to remove if necessary. Each kind of tape I tried did not work well, at least for me. Also, it was impossible for me to install the carpets in the Delorean, There was no way to lay them correctly (either wrinkles, tears, paint from the model coming off.) So in desperation on my fourth try I just glued the whole carpet and paper backing into the car. This worked for two of my Deloreans without any side effects and the carpets look perfect. To many ruined trying to get carpets installed. You could do this with the Ecto, but it was not too difficult to put the carpets on the floor like in the Delorean.
Probably not necessary but when I get to this step I will probably put some hot glue on the connectors to keep them secure. Also, does anyone know when the Enterprise-D starts?
Just a heads up, can't remember if I followed how you put the switches in or what the magazine said but I had to swap around C and D switches on the dash
are u sure u got the stearing rod in the right place mine was alot harder to get in i cant really tell on the video angles just doesent look correct maybe its me?
I'm loving the build Wayne, but seriously would like to build it, but cant at the moment, due to fact we cant' get it here in Australia at the moment as there is NO eaglemoss. is there any way we can get information on eaglemoss for Australian Customers, as some of these builds are great, but Eaglemoss does NOT cater am thinking for Australian Customers
I know what you mean. It was the same when the Delorean was released. At the moment they have enough problems with the EU logistics I believe but never say never
Hi you made a mess of issue 18 issue 65 of ghost busters your steering column has gone under the dash not through the steering column hole, and there is 13 screws holding inside to chassis cheers mick
I got really worried when you said you were going to use polystyrene to prop up the car again, I'm terrible with polystyrene, I can't touch it, I can't be around people who are touching it, even watching a video of someone touching it is too much, but it wasn't actually polystyrene, it was that other stuff they sometimes use in packaging, that looks similar but for some reason I am absolutely fine with. So you gave me a scare, but it was a false alarm. Buying breakable items is always like russian roulette for me, will it come in polystyrene, or will it be the other stuff? I know that has very little to do with the bulk of this video's content, sorry about that.
"How many screws should we put on the gurney rails?" "I think 20 to be safe" "So...probably need about 30 for putting the whole interior in?" "That's crazy...12 will hold 'er"
I believe that gurneys weigh close to a hundred pounds. Put something weighing that much onto the rails, you would need 12. Remember, they are screwed into plastic. I think that rivets would be better.

I ordered my first kit, first time doing an eaglemoss kit. Your videos are fantastic and makes me feel much better about doing the build.
By the time we ge the gurney the roof will be on and getting to the rails will mean taking apart the back of the car to get access to them.

At least all the wire colours & labels match this time, unlike the Delorean build. Great video as always.
Great video wayne 👍
Great video Wayne, as usual. Just a thing about terminology is it a floor plan or a floor pan. In OZ it's a pan.😆
I say pan in my head but for some reason it comes out plan
Just made it home from shopping. Perfect

Most of these models come on about £1200 this one is more £1400
Just a heads up, can't remember if I followed how you put the switches in or what the magazine said but I had to swap around C and D switches on the dash

Fixed and fixed lol
@@WorldofWayneUK took me ages to get the steering column through the ruddy hole!
Wayne does it take AA or AAA batteries
It takes 6 x AAA
@@WorldofWayneUK you swap the 6 AA battery slot. And hav the whole car powered by a9volt battery instead
