Are Yeti coolers worth the money? Let's see how long they can hold ice for in this Yeti cooler 10 day ice test challenge.
Can the Yeti Tundra 45 keep ice a full 10 days or will it run out of ice sooner than that?
For this ice test I used the Yeti Tundra 45 (a 37-Quart cooler) completely filled with ice and 6 of my favorite beers. The cooler was prechilled 24-hours before and the drinks were also prechilled.
The Yeti was kept outside (but in the shade) for the entire test with daily temperatures around 70 degrees during the day and with lows of around 50 degrees at night.
I opened this Yeti ice chest 5 times per day and broke up all the ice on day 3 as it had formed into a large block.
