Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
3/10 - Thought this was a clip from Sister Act
Eleven 😊👍 The chemistry between those two is amazing and her facial expressions are priceless.
10. I don't want 2 go 2 heaven I want 2 go 2 the bank and cash the gd check lol
She sooo deserved the Oscar
Tens all the way
That moment when you realize this act of kindness is repaid in Sister Act :-D
😂
Literally. Whoopi Goldberg wasn't originally supposed to be in the film, despite having a better audition. Patrick Swayze stuck his neck out and threatened to quit if they didn't give her the job. Imagine all the other jobs she got after being in this movie!
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
😂 thought that too😅
... We had
never
such
Experiance in our life ThaT movie

Patrick Swayze you are greatly missed :( :( 😭😭😭
This movie had an element of comedy, because of Whoopi. Such a funny woman 😅
Have you seen her tv series whoopi, so funny😅
She won the Oscar
Have you seen her now no one likes her lol.
@@jorgecarrillo2 oh and she sure deserved it. Her performance was outstanding.
Not any more. Nightmare.
Nuns: "Hello..." 😊
Oda Mae: "Yeah. Hello." 😐
😂😂😂 Whoopi Goldberg's expressions, timing, everything. Her delivery is unmatched. Love her ❤️
I just love the way Whoopi says "I know you don't think I'm giving this 4 million dollars to a bunch of nuns"
Sam:"oda mae,if you don't do it. They will track you down. Your protection is to get rid of it."
"I WILL"..... 😂
"bless you, child. Bless you."
I saw Ghost in the theater when it was released in 1990 and the audience roared with laughter when she delivered that line. Great stuff!
I'm glad you did!
1:52 The best "I will!" ever uttered by a human being.
A suppressed angry yell with a forced grin.
@@KenMasters. Indeed.
She nailed it.!
"I don't wanna go to heaven, i wanna go to the bank and cash the god damn cheque". 😂😂😂😂
This Movie Has Some Funny Moments For a Drama Movie Especially With Whoopi Goldberg!
😂😂😂😂😂
Sam all proud of himself with his side-mission complete (GTA San Andreas Mission Complete SFX).
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this line😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love how nobody not one person pays any attention to that crazy lady talking to herself in broad daylight in a busy manhattan street
Well it is New York, they are use to that.
@@G11366 only in new york then?
@@adangracia3763 There were lots of crazies in NYC during that time. I mean, there still is today especially in the subways but it was just as intense as the 80's and 90's crazies.
@@G11366 I was just about to say that, it's normal lol
@@amberhi874This is Tuesday for them 😂😂😂
I love how the Nuns think she’s having a conversation with herself 😂
They know all about that 😅
They believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is not dead- he’s alive. He’s here with us. Maybe they think this is an act of God
There’s always one atheist liberal in the comments 🙄🤡
As close to a Sister Act Prequel as we will get. ....
Imagine if it was Sister Mary Patrick and sister Mary Robert at the donation table meeting her.
This is the Whoopi I remember and love.
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Yeah. Now, who is she?
@@jimmikulsky4810 A wacko lefty wokie deconstructed and bitter.
A woke
Before she became crazy , race baiting woke boomer
Oda Mae was a strong and a good person. Lesser people would have refused to give away so much money, no matter how much some ghost talked into their ear. If you spent money wisely, you wouldn't have to worry about your finances ever again.
She would've been dead because the owners of that blood money would've tracked her down if she deposited that huge amount into her personal bank account.
She'd have spent the rest of her life hearing about Henry VIII
Pbm is you hear ghosts.
The ghost who's telling you to give away the money was killed for it.
You can cash it up, but this ghost will scream at you for the rest of your life...
You mean stupid people would have kept the money, knowing that they could be putting their lives in danger by doing so.
My favorite funny scene love them both dearly she deserved the oscar

The older nun is Patrick Swayze’s mother in real life
How do you know?
It's most certainly not 😂
@@pattykrabby8253 Bilitydeeuk is lying as the older nun in real life is or was Sondra Rubin and Patrick Swayze´s mother was Patsy Yvonne Helen Swayze.
@@VictorGomez-mb2ve A Je wess acting as a nun? What has the world come to?
Her expressions LMFAO 😂😂😂😂
The best
"I know you don't think I'm giving this $4 million to a buncha NUNS!" said Sister Mary Clarence.
And don't think I'm gonna live in a convent wearing one of those nun's habits!!!!
I WILL!
Lmao. So brilliant and hilarious. One of my favorite performances ever on film.
I love that walk she does lol x
The way the nun faints when she sees the check AHAHAhA
Happy shock!
For me whoopi made this movie. The face she pulls at the nun when she takes the cheque 😂
Just think she was only 35 years old
She's so funny 😂best actress ever
She may be a good actor but she and idiot and a racist
Whoopi being iconic as always ❤
0:40
It almost made me wanna cry 😢 wirh her. She finally got super big money but she can't keep it nor spend it.
0:55
When she saw the nuns, in a second i went from tears to laughing hard 😂😂😂😂
Me too, but after that, I think if the police came after Molly called at the end of the movie, they will start seeking information about this case, and if they found out Oda Mae kept this blood money, she would be suspected. So, it's better when they found out she has given away, not kept for herself any penny
and she became Sister Mary Clarence
And he became the POTUS who loved Olivia Pope. ❤
They probably thought she's talking to God
Whoopie looks amazing here.
Say what you want, she was fine.
I would not give the check for nothing in world...Oda was right, I would have cash out the check, change my name, and move the hell out of the US for good.
But then she be hunted down if she kept it.
I would leave the United States too for sure
Buy my own island
And have Sam pecking your ear for the rest of your life. He gave her enough grief earlier in the film
@@mrfrankiej932 wat do u mean
This was a premonition of her next big role back then. 😂
The two roles that skyrocketed her career (and earned her an Oscar award).
Isn’t “Carl” (Tony Goldwyn?) the fella that played “Fitz” in ‘Scandal’ (with Kerry Washington)?
Yes
He also did the voice of Disney's Tarzan
If he was so interested in protecting Oda Mae by making her give away the 4 million dollars so she wouldn't be tracked down, why did he tease Carl like that afterwards? By doing that, he actually put Oda Mae and Molly under Carl's radar 🤦🏽♂️
Movies needs emotions
Yes because he made it known his spirit was around
makes for a good plot
I was thinking the same thing 😂 this amazing movie still has small plothole, but, anyway, movies need emotion
My husband knew of a lady who died as a result of stress induced by a specific co-worker. Not that long after she died, the co-worker who was emotionally abusive to her turned on their computer and the name of the deceased lady kept repeating on the computer screen. Much like Sam's did in this film.
It’s always her walk for me!!! #iconic
Sam:"give it to her. Let--Let go. Let go!"
"😁😬 Shit!"
Sam:"I'm proud of you,oda Mae."
did anyone notice the same woman in the green dress passes by whoopi crossing the pedestrian 2:33 but seconds later she's behind patrick swayze going the opposite the direction 2:37
🍪 good 👁️
Nice
I would’ve fainted too had I been the nun.. and this was 4M in the 90s too.. Lmao.
In the 90s and the present day too
This the one thing about this movie I didn't really like or understand. She helped Sam out , even risking her life. The least he coulda did was give her SOME of that money.
It was never his money. It was laundered money and he was murdered for it.
This makes me wanne see the movie again ❤
How she's holding on the that check!😂😂😂😂
I would just like to point out that by giving himself away, Sam endangered his wife and Oda Mae. That was a really stupid and petty thing to do. Just following him around would have been a better play.
Actually, it was when Molly saw Oda Mae at the bank, and then Molly told Karl about the transaction!
@@retrogameslover2023
Exactly
How giving himself away? He was a ghost. Not even Oda Mae could see him.
@@MariaMartinez-researcher Carl (the dude) at the end was the one that had Sam (the ghost) killed at the beginning of the movie.
Carl and Sam obviously knew each other when Sam was alive. Therefore Carl also knew Molly (Sam's wife). And Molly told Carl that she saw Oda Mae at the bank. Carl only put it together that Oda Mae was a psychic medium and deduced that Sam must've been guiding her. So from those two information, Carl could track down Oda Mae.
I would also like to point out that you had the luxury of watching the film and then reflecting on what would be the better play. Sam made a bad play in the Kent of enjoying revenge and getting his won back on his murderer, which unfortunately most would likely get caught up in, but luckily it turned out all right in the end.
I’d also like to point out that the movie was more entertaining for this really stupid petty thing he did. It was a good scene.
Funny, after a few years she also became a nun herself XD
I just love how Oda Mae, argues with Sam an says, Oh go away an leave me alone, "What is the Nun gonna do with the Cheque, anyway she can't even buy underwear." That just sends me😂😂
After that, she went back to the habit to get that check back. 😅
Bless you child, bless you
Oda mae - hahaha
Sam - give it to her
Oda mae - *laughs louder* hahaha
Sam - let, let go…LET GO
Oda mae - 😞 😡
Sam - 😇 I’m proud of you oda mae
😂😂😂🩶🩶
Oda Mae:"you know something,Sam? I don't care if you're proud of me. You stay away from me from now on. What is that nun going to do with it? She can't even buy underwear. Nothing. I hate you. Leave me alone. Never talk to me again." 😡
“I think your wonderful oda mae!!”
(oda Mae blows raspberries)
crazy how that lady with the weird hair teleported behind both of them on the last 2 scenes
She was a Watcher
Oda Mae is Mr Krabs
And then 2 years later, she returns to the convent to try to retrieve the money.
She ended up joining the choir and do Motown parodied gospel songs.
They come after her anyway, could have let her keep the check
They only come after her because Molly who saw them at the bank was stupid enough to tell Carl. Had she kept her mouth shut, Sam’s plan would’ve worked.
All that hard work would have kept the money 😂😂😂
Я был убит из за этих денег - какая душераздирающая фраза
Awesome scene!
It takes a dark tone when he says he was killed for that money.
This is the best movie in the whole wide world. I don't care what any one says.
I forget that it was nominated for best picture at the Oscars back in 1990. It was both a critical and commercial success. I had the soundtrack on cassette tape back in the day and still love Unchained Melody to this day.
Sam messing with the computer scared me, even though I knew who it was 😂
God loves a 'cheerful' giver!
The "I will!" Literally made me laugh out loud even though I've seen this movie a dozen times and knew it was coming.
I really love this movie…specially the scene when Whoopi gives the check to the nuns!!❤😊
This scene earned Goldberg an Oscar.
LMAO at the thumbnail 😂
There's going to be a great fully Roman Catholic School 🏫.
Ugh... more indoctrination and sexual assault.
I love Ms. Whoopi Goldberg and I love this movie.
That thumbnail is everything
I give the film 10 out of 10. I think it's a great movie!
Whoopi walking in heels will never not be funny.😂😅
Amazing indeed 2:12
Film favorit saya ketika natal..tapi sekarang mereka tidak pernah memutar di tv lagi...
His work area is haunted 😂😂😂
2:32 😂😂😂😂
Does anyone know if there are any bloopers to this scene. ? I bet they had to do a lot of takes. You can see Patrick trying not to laugh. 😂😂
2:32 🤣
2 grand actors❤
And this is how we got sister act 🎬 👏
A!!!!Bravoooo Sahm❤❤
Whoopi is hilarious in that scene and the extras are walking back and forth... look at them...
Ele perdeu a vida por inveja de um falso amigo...
You know what sucks, having to grow up in a cold world and realizing that some of that money was definitely used to harm folks and pay off lawsuits
2:05 my reaction if I shared a huge chunk of my lottery money.
😭😅😅😅
The growling “I willggghhhhh” with a pained smile always gets me 😂
She did the right things. This check is a blood money. Glad she give it away
Ghost was one of the best movies I saw as a child.
This was one of the most darkest films I ever watched as a kid.
Imagine this film being remade into an M-rated video game.
Divinas escenas para siempre oro puro 📀
Wonderful, спасибо!
Patrice Cullors: "I *KNOW* you don't think I'm giving this $90 million to a bunch of black people in need!"
do you mean there are not white people in need??? $90 million to a bunch of people in need...would sound better, that included asian and arabs as well
There's an error in the subtitles! It's check, NOT cheque!
Look at this 😂❤
Gosh Whoopi was in some great movies
I can't imagine anyone else in that role, she's simply magnificent 👏👏👏
"Let go.....LET GO!!"
Need to find the right VCR and rewatch it!
Somebody would of gave me some damn change😅😅
Who?
Whoever came up with the idea to put Whoopi in scene with nuns was brilliant. Whether she is grumbling about donating to nuns, or adapting to living like a nun in Sister Act was hilarious and very enjoyable to watch!
Whoopi has that Viola Davis walk LMAOOOOOOO
Name of the movie GHOST
Cena maravilhosa...Woopie está demais, puro talento 🇧🇷❤❤
I know it's just a movie, but I never got the scene. If she would've signed the check, whoever picks it up would have to prove that they are Oda Mae Brown. That's harder to do than people think you have to provide ID and everything else and I know for a professional crook it is relatively easy but for the average person a check made out to someone signed by that person is only good for that person.
This absolutely hurts my soul. $4,000,000 oh my God.
The most funniest clip in the film 😂😂, she had trouble letting to of the cheque 😂😂👌👌
She sure is wonderful! Just love this movie and Whoopi Goldberg in it.
Back when 4 million dollars was a lot of money to rich people.
Thank you
