Hi there, proffecional gardner here in The Netherlands. I justed the Fiskars all year last year and I can say it is a pretty good tool. It does not wear you out, you can pull weeds hours on end . My favorite tool for sure
Drew, thanks for the comparison test. I recently bought the grandpas weeder. It is a pretty good tool. But I can see the Fiskar with the 4 claws very well might be the better tool. The grandpa weeders claws are cast metal and looks like it will last a long time. Along with its over all build is much sturdier than the fiskar from the video. The problem I have with it is if you do not get dead center of the weed it takes several attempts. Good job on the comparison very detailed and in depth. Thanks
Thanks for sharing that! It's always great to hear about different tools that might work better than others. Appreciate your kind words about the comparison too
Wouldn't the lifetime warranty make the Fiskars as durable? And i know their "plastic" axe handles are at least as durable as a wooden one, I'm not sure if that translates to the weed puller.
Good point about the lifetime warranty, but I see durability differently. Even though they offer replacements, constantly sending it back for a new one doesn't spell 'durable' to me. It's more about long-term reliability without the hassle. I know what you are saying about the plastic/composite type handles. I have a rake like that, but this tool not like that.
You kept saying the pro plugger is a multi purpose tool ....but only showed us one use !! the pro plugger is by far the most hard work to use, once forced into the ground you then have to turn it over to knock out the plug ! not really labour saving !.......lots of talk ...not enough of a demonstration............
I appreciate your feedback! One of my favorite ways to use the ProPlugger is for collecting plugs for soil samples, which I mentioned in the video. I also like it for repairing bare spots in the yard. I wanted to keep this video focused on weed control. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Believe also with the pro plugger you could take out 5-6 weeds before emptying the barrel = less time unloading.
@@robertlark10 you are absolutely correct!
