I've had a bi-color angel that was reef safe but was very aggressive to any fish that was similar or smaller in size. I currently have a flame angel that is very peaceful and also reef safe
I used to have a potters angelfish and it was one of my favorite fish but unfortunately a few days ago I found him dead. I cried so much he was my favorite fish I had in my aquarium and now I probably won't be able to get another one.
I have the Querub and it's a true angel 😉 it goes around my 80lts aquarium without trouble, in between the rocks and "kissing" everything in its path, a true glutton and a great companion for my jawfish, clowns and chromis ❤️
How did it do with coral? Any aggression towards other fish? They are so cute! I am thinking hard about getting one but someone mention how they love LPS and worried about his scolys! I would die if he took out my fragile and expesive scolys!
Hey I'm not sure if you check comment on one year old videos however, I have a coral beauty in a 300 gallon tank and would like to add a couple of more dwarf angel. I have added a flame Angel twice and the coral beauty kept picking on it and tell it did not make it. Do you think I would have more success if I added a couple at the same time. i am beating no but, I thought I would ask.
@@MadHattersReef I have decided to add a few different fish instead of another dwarf angel. We'll see how it goes, love your videos thank you for your response
I was sad that the multi colored angel was not on the list. I have one it’s a beautiful fish, very well mannered. I love these videos you put out thank you
I guess you could either take it to your LFS or give it away or sell it on a FB reef group in your area. My LFS is stingy as hell! I took her a hawkfish thats was mean as hell and killing my other fish and turned around and bought another fish from her and she didn't even discount the other fish much less give me a dime for it! I dont buy much from her anymore. Lost my respect!
I really want a coral beauty angle. One of my local fish stores told me I could definitely keep one in my 29gal. After more research I found that was completely wrong. Great video! Always look forward to watching your stuff!
@@Sabertooth_54 People exaggerate tank sizes and requirements. A lot of it has to do with how much work you're willing to put into keeping the tank in shape. Also how much liverock you have in the tank
@@tinoprovenzano7702 I should have worded it better but didn’t have them together i had a flame then it died and i got a coral beauty, you could probably have both but you would need something like a 75 gallon tank and you would have to introduce them at the same time.
I Had a "good" reef safe coral beauty for 2 years before he decided to devour my SPS! What a nightmare it was trying to get him out before he killed em all!
Long time podcast listener in the Uk....great to finally get a glimpse of your tanks.... will watch more. Love your podcasts and life philosophy.
Always have been a fan with all black fish it's just awesome to watch like a shadow going through the tank awesome video keep em coming
They are amazing! Thanks for watching!

can't win
I love my Black Nox, it's cool to see it swim through the tank. When I put it in the tank my Coral Beauty didn't like it too much.
The potters angle is definitely the best on this list, I loved mine
It really is!
Has it destroyed any coral yet? Tsmaquatics has them but im debating.

Keep it up man nice video man🙂😁
I will
My Sunday is complete thanks man!!
Enjoy!
So if theyre reef safe with caution, what corals will they nip on?
Great topic 👍👍👍
Glad you liked it
I've heard that bicolor and lemon peel aré very dificult Fish, please could you tellme your experiencies?
For a 125 FOWLR tank, how many dwarf angels can I have? Also, do different dwarf species fight such as Rusty and Flame?
Nice video! Great info.
Thanks!
Super fantastic saltwater aquarium video...
Thank you so much 👍

My fav. Is the Colin's angelfish, hard to find and a little pricey but for sure worth it
Thanks for all the great advice👍
Any time!

It's hard telling. I haven't done it myself so I can't really speak on it. I may have to try it out on my 400g build.

Good call!
Need to upgrade my tank, some lovely fish. Would love a True Shepard Angelfish. 👍.
You and me both!
I have a potters and a flame 💕😌 they both pick on eachother but never anything serious, I got them both as babies so they know how to get along
Nice. That great.
Love the video!! Have a question for ya!
Never mind it’s already been answered!👍🏻
Hey love the videos keep it up!
Glad you like them!
So every one of these can fight, can eat your coral. Can be hard to feed? If ee buy one, put it in a tank snd it eats coral... what do we do with it?

Do you know if the flame angels are captive bread
They have been but they are few and far in between:
Im thinking of pulling the trigger on a potters angel but i love my corals too much.
Great vid Jeff. I really want a Flame Angel but its a coin flip and I worry for my LPS & Zoas. Are there any tricks to help prevent them from nipping?
Gotta test them out first
Can any go in a tank around 30gal?
I wouldn't, they like to swim.
How is a person supposed to quaratine a fish that does best in established tanks?

had a flame and coral beauty in a 29 gallon for a few years before I upgraded and they did fine
You had both at once? How did they do together? I’m curious, I’d love that

I thought for a second you were going to leave out the flame angel.😮
Haha, got ya.
Another fish that is all black in the reef tank is the Zebrasoma Rostratum(Black Tang)
Can’t wait till you do a fairly wrasse one would love to see that one
Yeah maybe a top 20 on that one lol
Thats a deep list
I have a pair of cherub pygmyAngel's. They are amazing. .
Great fish
Did they bother any corals? I want one so bad!
Are these for fresh water tank fish
no, sorry. They are all saltwater fish
Is a bellus angel considered a dwarf
I bought a coral beauty for 39.99 i can't believe they sell them online for 99.99
It depends on a few things but tank raised plays a part was well.
I’m surprised the tiger pyge angel wasn’t on this

Ouch. sorry to hear that.
Why is the half black not on here? Its pretty much the poor mans Goldflake angel!
Nice call out, great fish!
Dude your tank ranges for all of the fish you mention is way off.
I’ve kept a Pygmy in a 26 gallon mixed reef for almost 6 years
Thanks for watching.
No multibarred angelfish on this list?
😀
🤔
Doe's the golden angelfish eat cleaner shrimp cheers
😁👍
Thanks for watching Gabe!

Lemon peel destroyed some coral and was rehomed fast. Loves picking stylo/birds nest down to nothing.
Sorry to hear that but thank you for sharing.
Depleting wild fish is not the smart thing to do
Jeff K biota is captive breeding dwarf angels, so there will be less wild collection of these animals.
Yes they are
