Lead singer of the Zombies, Colin Blunsone, joined Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits Radio to take us back to his Golden Year which was 1966.
Formed in 1961, The Zombies are recognised for British and American hits which included “Time of the Season” and “She’s Not There”. During the interview, Colin spoke to Ken about how British bands are indebted to The Beatles for putting the UK music on the map and spearheading the British Invasion. His Golden Years music choices included a track by The Beatles, as well as one by The Rolling Stones who were creating waves at the same time as the Zombies, as well as “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys.

What makes these songs so good? Well yes the writers wrote great songs but also Colin's voice of course yet he doesn't seem to even consider that when asked about the songs. He's sooo humble and nice.

Rod Argent had a stroke in July since this interview and has since announced that he no longer will be touring which is sad . Btw. What a nice guy Colin Blunstone is and he came over in this interview just as I expected him to .
