You should check out Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of Superstition. There is also a live show with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Stevie Wonder playing Superstition together.
He won Grammys for three back-to-back albums in the 70s: Innervisions, Fulfillingness’ First Finale, & Songs in the Key of Life. A few (of so many!) recommended singles: My Cherie Amour, Isn’t She Lovely, I Wish, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing, Sir Duke, Higher Ground . . .
Stevie is a legend and i watched the whole video with you. If you ever get a chance to watch him in carpool karaoke he is hysterically funny and very sentimental too. There are so many facets to this man! Such a talent!
Stevie Wonder live was an experience! Loved it! three rows back from him in a free seat in KC MO! He showed his sense of humor and is an exceptional human being, musician, singer, humanitarian, innovator, etc.
Yes‼️. Stevie ripped it up here! Great performance. BTW SRV did a video of this song and Stevie Wonder made a cameo appearance at the end. Also Stevie and Stevie jammed together on this song as well. So much fun. Ray Charles introduced Stevie Wonder to the world when Stevie was just about 13 or 14 with his first hit record. So I have been a fan since 1963!
You're hearing a new instrument. Stevie's main one is called a Clavinet. That's what's making the famous riff. He wrote this song in E flat minor, and if you were to watch his hands on the keyboard, he used almost all black keys, making it very easy for him to play. The original studio recording he played every instrument except the horns. This is one of the few true timeless classics.
As a piano teacher, I tell my students all the time to watch Stevie play to really understand the difference between playing a piano and possessing a piano. You can play something and even hit all the right notes, but it is something special when you watch someone hit another plane of existence with an instrument and you realize you are seeing something legendary. Stevie did that every time he sat down at the piano. The dude was one in a billion
Had the pleasure of seeing Stevie in concert in Oakland in 1986.. he played for close to 3 hrs without a break, and we were all on our feet for most of that 3 hrs, right along with him. He’s one of a kind.. in the very best way! Thanks for posting.
Mom had the best music selection growing up and Inner visions was always blasting in the morning! Such a great voice and musician. The 70's were unmatched with talent
Oh mercy, I grew up in a small Southern town but I heard equal doses of rock, pop, country, and R&B. So I’ve listened to Stevie’s music right along with others from the 70s.
Summer of 75, So Waterford Maine, camping with my three best friends. We were going into jr year of high school and would travel from Massachusetts to one of my friends family's seasonal campsite for weekend. Friday and Saturday night at the rec hall doing the Bump to this song. Showing off for the boys. Thanks for the memories. Watched it all
Adogg, just found your channel and I love what you're selecting. If you are not that familiar with other Stevie Wonder songs, I NEED you to listen to "As". You will never regret it, and it's perfect for a reaction video. You will not believe what the man does in that song, I truly think it's his all-time masterpiece. Keep it going!
You sir, need to be respectfully pushed into the Stevie rabbit hole!!! He is music royalty and a genius. if he doesn’t have you up dancing, then he’ll send shivers up your spine with his lyrics and music. Please react to more of him. Any of his songs will touch you. Trust me 👍🏾♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The only Stevie Wonder song I ever heard as a kid was "I just called to say I love you", which (apologies to any fans) is a song made to function as a black hole for sucking musical soul out of the world. Then I heard Superstition. No less than a top contender for the funkiest groove of all time. 4 mins and 26 secs of glorious musical pornography. With just one listen, Superstition changed my whole perspective on Stevie Wonder.
I saw Stevie a couple of times in the 1970’s … but not in concert. One time I had to deliver something to a studio he was working in. He was sitting at the keyboard… the other time I was with a couple of friends at a small boutique hotel at the end of Hollywood Blvd when we heard a bunch of noise.. we looked in the courtyard and there was Stevie (after the Grammy awards) being led to his room by two of the hottest women I’ve ever seen … and I’ve seen hot women. Ummm he didn’t see me either time 😉🤫
Hi, I just subscribed after ur James Blunt monsters reaction & now binge watching.. Stevie has so many I was like 12 when my Cherie amour came in radio.. Then this great song your listening to ..try 'Boogie reggae woman' ' living for the city' 'higher ground' There's so many. Thank you✌️
Seriously you need to check out ABBA "Winner takes it all" "SOS" "Dancing queen" "Name of the game" "Knowing me knowing you" "Fernando" "Mamma mia" "Gimme gimme gimme" "Take a chance on me" "Eagle" "Hole in your soul" "Does your mother know" "Waterloo"
You have to react more of him. He is do absolutely talented. A younger Ray Charles. I love the dancers on stage keeping the crowns amped even more. Lord knows they would be over the top without them. With them the roofs on buildings a mile away is coming off.
The thing about Stevie is that he was able to cross all kinds of barriers with his music. Look at all the white people in the audience, grooving to this great song. That is what we need right now -- someone who has the ability to bring us together -- to remember that, as Americans and just as human beings, we have lots more in common than we have differences. And, if we can find common ground, perhaps we can learn to better tolerate our differences.
Stevie is an icon in the idustry. This is the first song I heard by him and became a fan. His earlier stuff us timeless. His later material became a little to radio friendly for me but I understand. Gotta make that money.
I love Stevie and this song is so funky! My friend please, please, please check out some George Clinton! The Grandmaster of FUNK!!! If you haven’t heard of him please check him out. Specifically the song “Give up the funk!” Once you do I Expect a shoutout in a video saying thanks for introducing you to him!!!!!🤣
There’s a funny SNL skit from the 80’s with Stevie Wonder and Eddie Murphy, if you can find it. NBC is real stingy with their intellectual property. Worth a look if you can find it.
YALL PLEASE WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO IT WOULD REALLY HELP ME OUT!!! AND DONT FORGET TO HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON!!!
Always to the end Adogg!!❤️
AGT Brian Justin Crum singing CREEP please react ,,,last time i will ask
You should check out Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of Superstition. There is also a live show with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Stevie Wonder playing Superstition together.
I love this song! Used to listen to it when I was a teenager!
Stevie wonder's songs are brilliant

Stevie put out at least 5 albums in a row that were great start to finish.

All his songs are great but this is one of my favorites !

i sometimes thought the song title was "superstitious" and that the words said "superstition is the way"
I know you like Stevie Ray Vaugny. He did a rad cover. Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers does a great cover of, “Higher Ground”!
Stevie is an icon in the idustry.
This is the first song I heard by him and became a fan. His earlier stuff us timeless. His later material became a little to radio friendly for me but I understand. Gotta make that money.

The song wasn’t written to be interrupted.
And he is legally blind !!!
You can't not dance or at least move to it
Love Stevie❤️
