Roger's forehand is so extremely good and pleasing to the eye (I personally like it more than Rafa's), I don't know why people praise his backhand so much, it's not his best shot and it's definitely not the best on tour
@@mikehogan3812 between Roger and Rafa's forehands? that is a really good debate! both are so different and effective in many different situations. If you are talking about who got a better backhand than Roger, I can name Wawrinka, Gasquet, Thiem (?) and for double handed there's the obvious ones: Djokovic, Murray, maybe even Zverev or Nishikori (?)
Michel Ramirez Wawrinka and Thiem top spin single hander are amazing but Gasquet’s isn’t as good as Roger’s, it’s world class but I wouldn’t take it over Federer. Fed makes up the difference though with the best slice on tour.
@@ak05284 Well spotted. To be honest, I didn't catch that one. But besides that block backhand, I did notice that the player in the video serves mostly to the T from the deuce side, using slight kick. Something Cuevas likes to do as well. And also, not a very good defender. Another of Pablo's caracteristics
What do you think about Roger on clay? Can he ever challenge Rafa?
Rafa definitely needs to be on a bad day if Federer wants to win. Rafa on clay is the biggest challenge for every tennis player
Of course he can challenge, Roger has bagelled Rafa on clay before. He can still challenge but winning is not easy for any player for that matter.
You stole this footage
Can the pope ever become muslim?
Faster clay (eg Madrid high altitude) over 3 sets not 5 is his best chance.
He’s incredibly fast & powerful..
Not a bad place to play tennis
Siempre será the Goat
his forehand is still the best in the history, even on clay. perfect combination of accuracy, speed and spin.
There is a Rafa Nadal affect too mate you cant say his forehand is worse than Roger's in nearly any way. And you cant say that Rafa's better too.
gurkan cubukcu rafa can drive it as well but that is about it
The Monte Carlo Rolex Masters...the most beautiful tournament setting on the ATP tour.

Whose is better?
However Roger’s forehand goes, so goes the rest of his game.

@@allenrodgers1577 I agree, Roger's slice must be a nightmare to deal with

Liking the new Uniqlo design
Thats a nike outfit, the video was of 2015 or 2016
@@markosmcs7777 Well i was hoping Uniqlo finally made a good design, i guess Nike wins again.
Wow this is an incredible view to watch the Swiss god 😍 would you be interested in collobarating?
Almagro right? Must 3-4 yrs old?
Looks like Cuevas to me. Especially that block backhand without follow through at 0:43 looks a lot like him. Not many guys on the tour use that shot
@@danijeljosic6262 I still think it is Almagro. Look the serve, I used to copy his serve motion.
It is Cuevas. Almagro has a platform serve, whereas Cuevas (as seen here) has a pinpoint serve.

With Cecchinato.
This is from last year. Federer had a surgery and is not able to play for now.
That’s what I thought lol
Opponent seemed strong.
Wait, so is he playing clay or not? When was this footage taken? I thought he's out for the whole of 2020- has he changed his mind?
This video is from years ago
@@a-gene4872 That's what I thought! Seriously though, it would be nice, if he could suddenly make a miraculous recovery, for 2020!
1:43 Dat forehand.
Damn
반가워요
This is old, right?
Yes Monte Carlo 2014
My question is, how does he make his shoes squeak like he's on concrete 🤔
I can’t tell if Roger is wearing his Nike clothes or not? I don’t think he would be in Monte Carlo because of Covid.
It’s a video from a few years ago, when he was sponsored by Nike
A K Thank you...I couldn’t tell..He still ears ✔️✔️
That was crazy...He still wears Nike shoes, right?
this is speeded up
