Make it legal to be obtained from a pharmacy as prescribed by a medical professional for those that are already doing it, for example. Prohibition against drugs has proven to be harmful and ineffective. Look at Asia. It's a disaster. Best tools are preventive measures, medical health infrastructure, and secondary prevention for those that already are on drugs. Don't make them go on the street buy their substance of choice. They should be property treated, if needed with long term substitution
Only substitute technically is methylphenidate aka ritalin or concerta adhd medications as it very chemically simular think of it more as a slow release cocaine. Having adhd myself I know it's enough for people with adhd to get them meds they don't had them out like sweets like media says there's strick controls on them. Even Escobar said this business will never end and that good education is key to keep yout kids from the drug, i think legalisation is the only way to go.
Now really? That's funny because the vast % of the cocaine users are educated high class people. While other drugs such as heroin/opiods are largely less educated middle and lower class.
So you think it's weird Escobar said his business, over wich he had a monopoly and made trillions, should be made legal? I think car thiefs want the same thing, and they don't produce cars
the amount of cocaine captured by the government is not an indicator of any increased supply being imported into Germany. it only reflects the effectiveness of law enforcement in the equation. this can be seen in the constant availability of the product and the stability of prices.

What point? That "I didn't go to school so now I earn less so yeah I deserve more?" Isn't school free in Germany? That's just the irresponsible, whitewashing, handwashing kind of talk guilty people do to justify to themselves that what they do is right when they know full well it's wrong.

I agree with you 100% but I am not shocked. I am a lot more cynical than a typical person I guess. I say I am not shocked because there are a lot of people making money leaving things exactly the way it is. If I you are a DEA Agent/police, transport company, people making the little plastic bags, clinics, doctors, counselors, you have no interest in ending the drug war. You have job securities, benefits (in the USA, most of the time, your healthcare is subsidized by your employer), pension etc etc etc to worry about. That is just one example. Non-profits that help addicts are not non-profit for the people who run them. The volunteers work for free but the Director, Accountant, Marketing, IT etc etc have salaries (and benefits). So the most realistic goal is probably to reduce addition? But eliminating is not going to happen.

Drugs have been around forever so it is not going to stop, what should change is how we view users, as already said mentioned in the comments, I can drink a glass of wine a week and I am not a alcoholic. You should use your platform with a more direct approach and make people aware that drug consumption is not okay, regardless of being legal or illegal.
Many of the problems described as shootings, deadly risks or money problems is just because the drug is illegal. It would be interesting to see what would happen if it was legal, and all the governments money was instead spend on helping people who can't handle the addiction. I believe that most people who do cocaine do not have big issues with it.
People WILL get addicted no matter what, no one can "save" them, indeed a 80% of violence come from the substance being chased that much so the making the profit insanely profitable (i buy for 50% of the price i sell to newcomers for like 150% or more).

They should be property treated, if needed with long term substitution
yup
Only substitute technically is methylphenidate aka ritalin or concerta adhd medications as it very chemically simular think of it more as a slow release cocaine. Having adhd myself I know it's enough for people with adhd to get them meds they don't had them out like sweets like media says there's strick controls on them. Can't imagine they would give them for a cocaine addiction but I have heard in Mexico they will give you methylphenidate to get you off coke In spealist clinics

Even Escobar said this business will never end and that good education is key to keep yout kids from the drug, i think legalisation is the only way to go.
Definitely
cocaine is a horrible drug, it does not have much of the medical effects like marijuana but have severe side effects. I hope its illegal forever.
They legalized marihuana, here in California. The business, it is still run by the cartels and they determine the way to go. They didn't go away
Now really? That's funny because the vast % of the cocaine users are educated high class people.
While other drugs such as heroin/opiods are largely less educated middle and lower class.

I am shocked how world officials are so oblivious to the benefits of decriminalization. They are going about it the wrong way, and in essence have blood on their hands for badly handling this.
