A little fact for those who actually haven't tried 5 Guys: They don't actually season their burgers. What they do is they get the mushrooms, onions and bacon, and they cook it on the same stove top they cook the burgers on, which is why their burgers taste the way they do.

So, I work at a Five Guys and I have learned that the best thing to order to get the most out of your money is to get a BLT then add a patty to it. You get 6 slices of bacon vs. the 2 on the normal bacon/bacon cheese burgers.

I wish Culver's was more well known outside the Midwest. Their Butterburgers, deep fried cheese curds, and Concrete Mixers (kinda like a Blizzard but better bc it's custard, not ice cream) are literally to die for, because you will be in heaven while eating it, and then you'll actually go to heaven from all the cholesterol.

Great thing, i worked at five guys for about a year, we didnt season our burgers at ALL, literally nothing aside from whatever grease was leftover from the onions and mushrooms that was on the flat top was ever put on that burger. i think the ground beef itself is what makes it, that and they always cook baccon on that first thing in the morning

5 guys is literally the greasiest burger and fries I’ve ever had, to the point where it’s inedible. If you get it for take out and have to drive even 5 minutes the bottom bun is soaked through completely and falling apart and the fries are basically wet noodles. 5 guys is a trash can

Burger day at my school was a relief because it was mid. It was the only thing that stayed the same quality. It was ok, and stayed okay.

you need that one piece of iceburg lettuce that adds a nice crunchy texture to each bite, not the mounds of shredded brown slimy lettuce that you usually see on fast food burgers
As an avid jack in the box lover, it's a hit or miss with the burgers. You either get a top tier burger made for you, or it is the driest saddest burger in existence, there is no in between. However if you just get chicken menu items from them it's like a cheat code because imo it's always good. And their chicken strips are GOAT.

It's not just the quarter pounder by the way, all the burgers that take that Patty are cooked to order. And because McDonald's is so busy, most of the regular patties never sit longer than 2 to 5 minutes. McDonald's has really good beef, and their seasoning has a lot of flavor in comparison to most places.
i dont know how much of it is country based but this isnt true for Canada the 1/4 are the same as the 1/16 there is a set amount you keep ready and the 1/3 are really the only ones made to order most of the time. Yet again i havent worked there is 8 years so it might have changed since.
DQ still has a huge and thriving burger menu in Canada lol. We miss out on sooo many good places the us has tho

idk if like this is a staple of the company but whenever i go to 5 guys and get fries, they FILL that cup, but then double down on the amount they put in the bag. basically a 2for1. homie fries.
The problem with in n out is because it's not accessible to most people, when we do get the opportunity to go we expect immensely more than what is offered.

Lettuce is great on a burger. Places just always fuck it up. A lot of fast food places either use shredded lettuce (complete dogshit) or hit it with a mound of lettuce from the middle of the head (PACKED with water and too crunchy). When you get that perfect one layer of lettuce though, its refreshing and gives a nice texture.

I agree that the Wendy's dave's single is Mid B tier but most of the other Wendy's burgers are A tier at least.
depends on where you live I guess. Where I live Wendys burgers are disgusting. Underseasoned, tastes like they were frozen, and the meat itself is just off. Their chicken burger on the other hand is easy S tier.
If your heart can handle it the baconator /baconator junior is better than like ~80% of fast food burgers out there. Can't say why.

@@ivenstorm Worked at a Wendy's in Canada. Burgers are alright, they just taste like hamburgers, and the chicken is marginally better. But the sides are fantastic. Wraps and chili are incredible, potatoes are a weird thing to order but they're good, chicken strips and nuggets are above average imo, and the poutine is easily the best you can get from a fast food joint. Of course, the chili cheese nachos turn into mush in about 3 minutes, but no one orders those.
