Office is looking fantastic Jenna! A nice monitor makes such a difference in not only looks but workflow too with a one plug usb c power and display hub, so nice!
seems a phenomenal monitor with nice features. the colors on this monitor look beautiful. i think it was a nice video, Jenna. Mattie looks cute with that philips shirt in the end of the video. lol
Wow the Studio Display has some competition in terms of pricing That's a hell of a monitor Jenna If I were to get a Mac mini for my office I would choose that monitor over the Studio Display considering that price point
Some specifications say this monitor is 75 Hz, while others say it's only 60 Hz. Which is it? And one review says the FreeSync doesn't work. Has that been resolved?
I love working off monitors, but I will say I think the LG DualUp has this one beat for me since I need to do data work. Much easier to have my analytics on top and my spreadsheets on the bottom. Also if you do any coding you'll notice a lot of devs will have a vertical monitor as well. Surprised more creatives don't go for the ultra wides though.
What is the bandwidth of that usb c (connected to MacBook)? I know it’s not thunderbolt, so definitely not 40gbps. So, would that be 10gbps or 20gbps (3.2 gen2)?
I hope that the monitor works great after a few years cause my dvd player was a disaster after 1,5 years and a tv after 3 years But that was before Phillips sold their consumer products to another company.
@@null_914 This is my first 4K monitor, and I chose 27E2F7901. For me, I am very satisfied with this monitor, which matches my Mac and Windows very well. But it has been a long time, and now there should be a better choice.
My only problem with this monitor is the fact that it has an external charger. This applies also for the LG monitor with IPS Black. The only competitor that I know that has the power brick inside the body is the Dell Ultrasharp. I have an U2518D and want to upgrade to a 27 4k monitor and sadly Dell is still the only brand that covers all my criterias. Beside that, the Philips monitor seems ok.
Just bought this! Can’t freaking wait till I receive it! Hopefully tomorrow. Bought a apple magic keyboard and mouse. I will connect my iPad Pro M1 to it and call it a day! It will give me Mac vibes.. great looking monitor. 🤪❤️ cannot wait im anxiousss
@@emrelee I bought the Philips about two weeks ago and returned it. It could have just been a faulty monitor or a rare incompatibility with my graphics card, but I could never get the colors to look right on mine, even after three days of use, four hours of fiddling with the settings, and another hour on the phone with customer support from B&H Photo. They recommended I return it after they couldn't figure out the issue. The colors were drastically different on the same settings between Adobe programs (Lightroom and Premiere), and every picture looked really grainy with added black contrast/shadows that didn't exist in real life or on any other program/computer/monitor. It was sad, but going back to my old 24" HD Dell Ultrasharp felt like an improvement 😅 I got the 27" 4K Dell Ultrasharp last night, and everything looks great right out of the box for just about $100 more-if you're still in the market :)
This was a neat video, but it did not answer a major question that all desktop monitor review videos should answer: Does this Phillips monitor have the setup to accommodate the attachment of an aftermakret desktop/tabletop monitor arm?
I finally got the Philips 4K 27" monitor set up in my van, and it’s exactly what I needed for work and entertainment. If you're wondering if it’s van-friendly, here's a review ruclips.net/video/I405IqY5-ck/видео.html
By the way regarding being more into photography, I know you’re a Sony-girl and mostly video at that… but it’d would be really nice to see your take on reviewing the @hasselblad X2D! I hope they will let you do a review at some point!
They don't. Philips have licensed their brand and technology to other companies who make these consumer products under the Philips brand name. These monitors are made by a Chinese company called TPV.
..so confusing watching these reviews on a mobile device or on a monitor that isn’t anywhere close to what the camera from afar captures vs what the monitor actually pushes out 😅 like wha?? How we supposed to really see it..again the going into a store seeing them all side by side picture is far better than YT reviews that hardly cover anything
It is sort of odd that it uses a barrel connector to power the monitor. I was expecting it just to power with another USB-C cable into a wall adapter. I think that’s the only real negative is that it’s still uses an antiquated barrel connector for power.

You’re office look dope now, Jenna! I really like the corner lamp there (in the glass jar) and how it throws a warm light over the back wall.
Just bought this monitor and so excited that YT recommended me this video. It just hoped me up even more 😂 can’t wait for it to arrive.

Same. It's not 5K sadly, but 4K is alright for most.
awesome video! I just redid my office and went with the 27inch HP FreeSync monitor in ceramic white and its so pretty!
what settings do you guys have it at?
Some specifications say this monitor is 75 Hz, while others say it's only 60 Hz. Which is it? And one review says the FreeSync doesn't work. Has that been resolved?
Only 60hz
Since when does a major company like Philips watch Jenna's vids enough to know her dogs clithing size?!

Hi Jenna, can the macbook be closed and still appear/display on this Philips model?
i have a macbook air and the usb c is not working any idea why?

Your So Close to One Mill, Feels like forever
just curious you got glasses years back but never wear them. do you wear contacts now or just get by with your vision not being great?
That's a really cool monitor!😃❤
That lamp on your desk is sick.

I am thinking about getting it. it's on sale at amazon $399. How does it hold up so far? Any opinions so far?

specs wise nothing new it's been same since like 2015 lol but at least they did get the design right. thanks for the vid jenna

Hey Jenna, I'm a huge fan of your vlogs. Today's my birthday. I would appreciate it if you could wish me a Happy Birthday on my birthday.
Would love to see this vs the studio display
Cool
Maybe you're just fine laptop working on a progress.
There is a dead pixel zone on your screen.
I like the new monitor
Love you
Hey Jenna wassup?
Hey jenna hru
You don't even stream anymore
🎀дякую🇺🇦
The video isnt sponsored by Philips shes just saying that cause shes using the product
With a PPI of only 163 I’d much rather spend the extra and go for the Studio Display at 218 PPI.
You go for it...more than triple the price for something you won't even be able to tell the difference at viewable distances
I miss European products
