Um, the erasing at 3 minutes in: the eraser, like the pen, has several modes, if you long press on the eraser "pen" menu item. The reason that one worked so poorly is that it's actually a "draw a shape and erase everything inside" mode; there are also a couple of other options that work more like a physical eraser.
Hi and thank you for your videos about this Kindle ! Is it possible to create folders (and folders in folders and etc...) in order to organize notes and PDFs ? thx
Thanks for watching! It does not allow you to create a folder within a folder. Once a folder is created, your only option is to then create a notebook (or multiple notebooks).
While you can't really "create" a custom template, there is a blank template option. Another option is to find interactive templates (ruclips.net/video/dDL9fS9RfOk/видео.html) so that you aren't limited to what comes pre-loaded on the Kindle Scribe.
Thanks for watching, Rocky! While you aren't able to lock your folders, you do have the option to set a passcode on your device. Check out this video for the steps: ruclips.net/video/9O6Rvb3GtEI/видео.html
…you didn’t have to type with the pen, you know. You can highlight and use the keyboard the same way you do on any other Kindle. Also: the instructions say to press the eraser against the Scribe and not rub it against the screen.
Where does that say in the instructions to not rub it against the screen? Because in the amazon kindle e-reader help, it says to press the pen firmly down, then RUB the eraser back and forth on the screen to erase.
@@natperXD Actually… Have you seen any of the Kindle Scribe user guides now? I’ve checked Amazon’s help docs just now, at their website. None of them describe how to use the eraser now. The diagrams all point to it but don’t say how to use it. Just that it’s there. What I saw when I first unboxed my Scribe last week was: Press the eraser against the screen. Nothing about rubbing it back and forth-which makes sense to me because the eraser seems to be made from the same material as the rest of the pen, not the nib. I’d think that if the eraser is supposed to be something more than a button, then it should be made from something that’s meant to get rubbed up against the screen, like the nib.
can you flip pages using your finger. or you always have to use the pointer option?
Can you save your notes to the cloud or other storage mediums?

Here’s one that goes into more depth on erasing: m.ruclips.net/video/9BNBnoh9XGU/видео.html
