There's really a lot of symbolism in the MV. Just like any other Carats, I tried researching to fully understand the MV and the songs meaning. I think I probably read half the comment section, so thank you for this. 😅
Now that you've explained the MV, and its relation to the song, I think Seungkwan's parts in MV hits different somehow. Especially because it was mentioned in ITS2 that he, infact was feeling burned out. He knows that his role in Seventeen is quite important, but just like anyone else, there might be days where he feels down, sad or just tired and people around him, be it friends, fans or aquaintances from work probably expects the "jolly" Seungkwan all the time. ( I can relate to this somehow, because when there are days that I'm not particularly chatty, people around me immediately asks if I'm alright, and most of the time, I am, I'm just thinking a lot of things but they're not used to it)
Also the last chorus about hating the alarm hits close to home. I resigned from from job last year, and I swear, almost every day after hearing the alarm, I'm already tired even though I haven't even got up from my bed. And I'm also hating myself for it because I'm being ungrateful. It was so frustrating.😢
