Mingyu has the audacity to say 뭔지 알지 after literally speaking at the speed of light.. like no babes I'm afraid I didn't quite catch what you're saying 😭😭
And As a korean, I personally want to talk about the frequency of their honorifics! For example, Hoshi often uses honorifics, but Mingyu doesn't use honorifics very much. This also shows their personality. It's a shame that the way they speak is not translated properly into English.
omg yess i love minghaos way of speaking his cuteness is so natural idk much about korean but i could tell he talks differently from everyone else, thats why his members baby him hahaha
this was so fun to watch LOL jeonghan's way of talking being described as 'ang nyang nyang' made me laugh i can't believe there's an actual term for that 🤣🤣🤣
omg i love this and i also noticed that jun loves using the word “약간“ and he tends to pronounce word ended with the letter N with NG just like how some japanese would pronounce it. he also pronounces his name as jung
Oh, that's true!!! I've thought his vowels have more nasal quality than how Korean people generally pronounce them, and this might be a contributing factor that even influences those ending vowels like 'N' 😲 It's just my opinion tho hehe
this is sooo good! i thought i was the only one who notice hoshi's frequent used of idioms in his speech. and i agree on joshua's pronunciation. he's kinda one of my references in learning more about korean language because it's easier to understand his pronunciation. good job on making the vid!!
Thanks a lot and glad you like it 🙌🏻 And yeah, he's pronunciation is so good that I would've thought he was born and raised in Korea if I didn't know where he's from 😆
Hahahaha I’ve been in Korea almost 10 years, but my skills did get exponentially better after watching their shows hundreds of times. Seventeen being such a big and diverse group with lots of wit and smarts mixed in, they’re good listening practice. And if you want to speak with locals comfortably and more confidently, you also pick up the friendly and family vibe they have with each other because they don’t bother with honorifics much. I can affirm since I’ve found myself pausing the video where examples listed here way back when I was still getting to know them. Their V-Lives are an exceptional source, too. Thanks for putting this up together!
Wow 10 years?!?! Amazing 🤩 I totally agree with you. It might be hard at first since it's very different from textbook audio files, but they literally show how people talk in real life! Glad you liked it 🙌🏻
This channel is such a safe space for Carats who are learning like myself. Korean is kinda hard for me but I'm determined to learn. Thanks for your videos 💓💓
When it comes to learning a language, having determination is the most important, and since you already have that mindset, I believe you can do very well ☺️🙌🏻 So glad that I can be a part of your learning journey 🤍
excellent!! i loveee how in depth your research and observation is! more importantly, i’ve learnt a LOT of new phrases since i’ve discovered your channel ❤ 감사합니다 쌤! 행복한 추석 보내세요~
As a Carat trying to learn Korean this is really helpful ! I find this so interesting because as a non-native i would have never known these details about the members nor the language. I watched some of your other videos and you’re so underrated, i LOVE how you explain everything so clearly with subtitles! 🩷 keep up the great work💜
as a non-korean and a carat, this video is soooo nice! i got to learn korean while learning some of the members' speaking habits too. thank you for making this vid
Wow, that was so interesting! Now I will look out to the different speech patterns!! Thank you very much, such a good video to get over the short GoSe drought😊
i actually did notice a lot that woozi especially tends to repeat whatever other person says and paraphrase it a little bit so i was hoping to see this habit of his and you talked about it!! such a great analysis😊
No wonder Going Seventeen is called "GoSe University". There are many slang words that make international carats and cubics know about Korean Language. Good content. Really currious about other ep
THANK YOU! as a language enthusiast, especially a korean enthusiast, i've been noticing patterns at seventeen member's speech and i love this kind of content so much!! for us korean students this video is the definition of PERFECT!
Learning Korean through Seventeen? Cudnt ask for more, I'm subscribing right away. Such a good idea, that's my motivation to study Korean again since I discovered SVT few months ago :)
this is really cute? we as non korean might be listening to them talking for years, but highly possible never know that it's their special way of talking. thank you!
probably the most korean phrases i know just came from them, and i just realized that these usage can be different, or how frequent this brings up in korean conversations. i wanna learn korean more ;--; it's so fun especially when i watch your vids
Uwaahh I really like your explanation 😭👍🏻 짱이야👍🏻 I’m just a beginner at learning korean, so it’s a little bit too fast for me. That means, I should start focusing to learn korean 🤭 thank you soooo much
i was literally searching for a channel that analyses seventeen's ways of speaking Korean and you popped up in my recommendations!! I'm so happy because your video analysis is amazing 😍 thank you so much for doing all this hard work!!💓💗
this was so interesting! It's hard to catch these commonly used phrases when you're so busy reading subtitles all the time. At least for me, I only pay attention to how they say things while reading the English, not necessarily the Korean words themselves that are said.
holy shit- the information is interesting, to the point, and so incredibly well edited. the pacing and the visuals?? are SO GOOD everything is so clean easy to understand. i am so baffled how i havent found your channel earlier…‼️
I really love this video and the findings here are interesting to me since i'm also looking at their talking habit to learn more about the Korean language and culture. I also notice Coups uses the word "~이 사람아" many times and it's so funny 😅
I really love your content and it makes me learn how colorful Korean language is especially with SEVENTEEN alone, there are so many nuances that international Carats don't usually pick up. Thank you~!
sooo glad i came across your channel omgggg😭 i used to actively learn korean but it’s been a couple of years since..and now that i’ve discovered your channel it’s slowly motivating me to pick it back up 🥲 especially since all your content is seventeen related and that’s more than enough of a plus for me 🫶🏽🫶🏽
I usually don't comment but I wanted to thank you sm for making these videos! I am almost fluent in Korean (topik 4) and I know these videos will help me even more ^^
Thanks so much for your video❤ It's challenging and sometimes boring to self-learn Korean, but the combination of GoSe and your video is such a great boost of motivation😊
Wow that’s was very helpful to for a person who’s study Korean and being a carat 😭😭😭 thank you very much on making these videos I hope you keep uploading more content like this ❤❤ I will definitely follow and like and comment ❤❤ 화이팅 해야지!!!!
Your observe is so interesting!Although I am not good at English and Korean, I still enjoy it. Thank your video(my native language is Mandarin Chinese )
Wow this is such great content... I also notice people's pronunciation, diction and accents when they speak (in English or my own language) so I find this very interesting... I will subscribe to your channel... Love this!!
Thank you for this! So nice knowing their quirks, I didn’t know this of course coz I am not Korean but I wish I could easily pick up on these. I want to learn the language!
aa i love the breakdown about korean speaking habit that you observe from seventeen ! I get to learn more about the little things that I noticed ! I'm so proud of you for making this video, thank you ❤
Dino's k pronunciation and sounding like an ajussi probably comes from this Jeollado dialect! It's sort of a Korean cultural thing where people see jeollado dialects as more indigenous and country like, so it connects with his Picheolin identity as well lol
I don't know why this video pops up on my feed, but I like it! You are such a great teacher for fans! 첨언하자면 디노 말버릇은 아마 전남 사투리의 일종일거예욤! 전라도 분들이 '카만히' 이런 말 쓰시더라고요~ 잘 보고 갑니당
oh wow! this is my first time coming across your content and it's not only fun and entertaining it's also so informative! you really put a lot of work into this! and looooove dino's part so much he really is an ahjussi and babie in one. will binge your other contents as well!
That was so interesting! I loved how you contrasted and compared certain members. It highlights some quirks better and somewhat shows their synergy too. Thank you for the video as always!
Another banger gagya!! Even though I'm sad we don't have your weekly vids from gose anymore, I know you are still going to make great content with whatever you do!

Does she have a video about honorifics. I would love to know who uses and who doesnt.
But english can't really emphasize on honorific tone cause there is no honorific tone in it
I don't know enough korean to notice their speaking habits but i love listening to minhao when he talks, he sounds so good i live his accent
Trueee he's accent is so cute ☺️
Same i love hearing Minghao talking is so soothing 😂
omg yess i love minghaos way of speaking his cuteness is so natural idk much about korean but i could tell he talks differently from everyone else, thats why his members baby him hahaha
Yessss his tone is so full of aegyo, and other members can't resist babying him 😆
Gose is on vacay, but Gagya-nim really came through with prime content!
Thank you so much for your lovely words 🤍
this was so fun to watch LOL jeonghan's way of talking being described as 'ang nyang nyang' made me laugh i can't believe there's an actual term for that 🤣🤣🤣

Hahaha it is 🤣
