Terracotta Drosera 2k

- A collection of botanical timelapse footage feature Drosera Capensis, also called the Cape Sundew. This plant hunts by secreting a sticky on the tops of the little hairs on the leaves. Bugs are attracted to this and they will land on the plant, get stuck and wrapped up in the leaves for digestion.
I really enjoyed working with this set, In the background I used a broken terracotta stone that was sent to me by Christa Ward in Malaysia.
Everything was filmed in my basement studio here in Colorado using Dragonframe and my home built 8 axis motion control rig "Otto", as well as some static cameras and an eMotimo Spectrum.
This will likely mark the end of my time with Carnivorous plants for a while. I plan to start on some new projects and mix things up a bit. I hope you enjoy.
I hope to get a Behind the Scenes video out soon, so stay tuned and be sure to subscribe. Развлечения

0:45 props to that spider who manage to figure out which buttons to press in order to activate the trap without getting caught by it
What buttons there is none
That jumping spider in and out like it's nothing while all other spiders n insects are just defenseless
Victor Castaneda * this is why jumping is important.
Was literally folding them into each other also, clever lil things!
Jumping spiders are smart, but judging at how the spider deliberately folded the nectar sticks to each other, they must be smarter than we currently know
I have little zebra jumpers on my bogs. They love the sundews. Traps all sorts of little gnats and such. Perfect little meals for them. They avoid the flytraps, and love climbing the pitchers.

Damn box elder bugs they get what they deserve
So then
very nice timelapse but stop dropping insects in the traps and let nature decide whats gonna happen
How do you know he dropped them in he could have edited the parts.
Out
Spawn kill
If he had a pet lizard, would it not be okay for him to drop insects into the tank for it to eat? I don't see a difference
Spiders are attracted to plants because they tend to steal what the plant caught, but instead of consuming what the plant caught it consumes them.
