126 goals in 266 matches as a substitute, he always knew he wouldnt be 1st choice but still he stayed at Utd cause he loved the club more than anything, true legend
Maybe this is what his plan is for Van de beek
Also just leaving this here after watching this it makes me think that Greenwood shows glimpses of OGS now
Actually it's 366 matches.
That's 8 more than Cristiano scored for United
And never cried for starting XI !!!
you know a man is a legend when all of his goals for one club takes half an hour to watch
And now he is our interim manager
Rooney's goals will be a movie then, split in two parts, each being 2hrs long
Rooney Scored 253 Goals but if you see the amount of time Ronny played against What Ole did you will know he was a Legend. He scored 126 Goal in the limited substitute time that he had.@@bcr5430
Also none of his goals were penalty goals!!
Im not saying he was better than Rooney but he was clinical when it came to scoring goals.
Yes and none of them where replayed in slow Mo. Legend.
Also, he scored a winning goal against Munich in final at Barcelona
I’m not a united fan but i’m here after that post watford game interview. Seeing him apologize because he’s smiling is so sad, He must have seen all the meme and hate about him.
All jokes aside, He’s still a Legend to this club, Wishing him all the best for the future.
it's insane that he played from the Cantona days right through to Ronaldo days
And still with the same young face 😂
Cantona, Beckham, Stam, Keane, Ronaldo, Rooney, Schmeichel, Van Der Sar, Scholes, just noticed, van Nistelrooy, Ferdinand, Neville's, even a year-ish with uncle Pat and Vidic, CARRICK AS WELL?! I totally forgot he lived through an era of all big name mad men legends, and the super sub baby faced assassin was apart of all of it!
@@chickypersonal To be fair, the Cantona days and Ronaldo days were only 6 years apart. It’s not like Giggs who played with Mark Hughes in like 1991 and then with Van Persie in 2013, now thats crazy.
@@accountuser5588 Yeah but that wasn't the really fun glory era, GIggsy lived through the beginning and most of the end of it, but Ole went through it with about 2 years off, I felt he left 1 year too early and could've been a double Champions League winner.
Wasn't really aware yet either of the earlier times, only started watching Man Utd and football in general round '97.
Hope he can smack the boys around and win something big this season, I really like what he's done, just needs to find consistency
More insane is that Ryan Giggs went from playing with Bryan Robson to Phil Jones!
126 goals in his manchester united career and never even scored a single penalty, pure attacking instincts and one of the best poachers for man united.
If you take his conversion rate in to consideration, he hardly missed. Easily in the top 5 most clinical finishers the EPL has seen.
And no free kicks too. I thought he was a great poacher too, but from this video he's not just a poacher. He scored from dribbled and long range goals too.
And lots from substitution!!!
Ole!!!
Mmmm yas
He was a supersub , and when he was on the bench he didn't take his eye off the game, so when he went on the pitch he knew exactly where to be and go
his celebration : stick two hands in the air and laugh like bilbo baggins when he finds the ring :)
With a smile like smeagol’s 😂
(Actually thoigh, his smile looks incredibly close to smeagol’s, it’s kinda jarring)
Every single one of his goals is his precious lmao.
Hahahaha
Too much on movie
Legend says that he is still scoring 20 goals a season after retirement.
He is the reason our young forwards have reached a higher level no doubt
did the same with haaland
His finishing was so natural , I only see greenwood with that quality now in our squad

All United fans still love and respect Ole, one of our best ever strikers.
This guy was a pure talented striker..126 goals with most of his career goals as a substitute..wow! He deserves more accolades.
One of the most underrated players in premier league history
Underrated?! He's pretty much universally acclaimed as one of the best strikers in Premier League history.
Fawesum thats the first time i have ever heard someone say he’s one of the greatest strikers in prem history
so Yeah...UNDERRATED
Well, to a certain extent he is quite underrated, especially among the youth.
Danny Platt how about the most underrated
Not to mention that he had to do kneesurgery 7(!!!) times while at united, missing several seasons. If not for that i belive he would have gotten over 200.
Now he's going to manage us. Welcome back to Manchester United, BOSS ❤️
i hope he can be permanent manager what about you hmm?

The quality in those squads, Solksjaer included, is mind blowing. Seeing some of those deliveries from Beckham in his prime again has stunned me. We really were spoiled back then! No matter what Ole does with this current team, they should all sit and watch this video for the inspiration alone. The angles he finishes from, the way he follows up every chance like a true poacher, runs into space... absolute quality. Never minded being a sub, always played for the badge, a real club legend and I can't wait to see him on the touchline this weekend.
This is a Beckham video
Best comment
and the run by Giggs on the left side is also stunning
Seriously all those squads were lethal from Cantona, Scholes, Giggs, Beckham to Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney
Well said! Can’t wait for the match later today.
126 goals incredible .. some patience and Ole will to take us back to glory days again.. he always delivers .. a legend forever

Does Ole have a weak foot? The angles he scored from though 🤯
He missed 3 seasons with that knee injury. And still managed 126 goals. Wow.
R. Rahman not just that, so many of his goals came as a sub, imagine if he had started half the games he played...
bharadwajv79 that's the thing he would analyze the other team while he was a sub and then come on and exploit their weaknesses
Just imagine if he wasn't injured
Not even penalties or free kicks
Spurs wanted him to start for them, lowest point in his career perhaps.
"Its the same old story. Ole Gunnar Solskjær appears from the substitute bench to rescue Manchester United".
"And Solskjær has one chance, one goal, usual story".

Absolutely brilliant I can watch this everyday
Only Solskjaer will have the ball in a super tight angle and think, "I'm going to score this".
Exactly.
one of the greatest finishers of all time..the most underrated striker of all time.
He should be the #1 substitute striker of all time in everyones book who watched football from 1996-2007.
I don't doubt his reputation as a gamewinner is underrated, at least not among MU fans.
He was often put on the field just to score the gamewinning goal in the added time, in that role I don't think he is underrated, not amoung the red devil fans nor the opposition.
Unfortunately his knee injuries limited him to short matches and being a substitute from 2003. So I guess if you account for his injuries that did limit him he's not that underrated for whole matches, but as a substitute he was world class, likely the best.
@@IpostedaCoDvideoonce His greatness came from getting 60 minutes of analysing the opponents. He had great positioning, and great finishing, but I don't think he would be as effective had he had to be focused on playing instead of studying the game. If he was able to study the game as he played, he probably wouldn't be as effective for most of the game regardless. He was happy to be the golden sub, and the team was so too.
@@fhasgw2398 Yet every substitute ever get the same amount of time to analyze the game and I can't recall anyone ever scoring so consistently after being put on the field for less than half an hour.
@@IpostedaCoDvideoonce Yeh, but most subs don't study it as intensely, Many subs talk to each other and watch the game. Ferguson said it himself, that Soslkjaer would be actively analysing the game from the bench, while other players would talk to each other and joke around

Very true
Most Super Sub celebration moves is on another level. Not running around across the field. He almost always thanked the one that assisted him in making those goals. A real team player.
The celebration was called "turn and smile" celebration.
As well as being consistently in the right place at the right time, Ole is a very well balanced attacker. He scores some absolute beauties with finesse and frightening power with both left and right feet. Add to that the amount of headed goals for a player who isn’t the biggest, it really shows that timing and knowing where to be is the most important thing.
What a player he was.
125 goals for a striker without a pentaly kick. Not to mention the fact that many of those goals came as a substitute. Truly remarkable.
His skills were underestimated. Most current strikers can't even imitate his first touch.
I still believe in Ole. If you can't respect him as a manager, please respect him as a legend of the game.

I really like his attitude as a player, know's that he is a sub player; never complained even once and work really really hard in all the games that he played even as a sub player. Really respect his attitude and morale in his whole career.
He's not ordinary sub lol... he's a superSUB ... everytime man u is loosing.... OGS is just right on time .... salute to OGS ...welcome back
When he eventually start to play in the first 11 he started to get injured often ... s sad how his story change but without that we probably wouldn't have Rooney
