same! I consider myself an intermediate sewist and the collar directions were not at all helpful. I am truly thankful for this tutorial. I had sewn a mandarin collar before from another pattern years ago but for the life of me...I had a "brain dump" and could not remember what to do. LOL

Did you by chance have a man try this on ? Some patterns looks wayyy different actually on the person. Especially around the neck. If so, was there any modifications you would make?
Yes, I did. He did not like it… he recently visited Bahrain, and stated that this pattern was no where close to what they wear there. 🤷🏾♀️. It fits loose, the only modification was the extension of the hem.
You could use a separating zipper if it is from the neckline to the hem. If you want it to stop half way you would have to do it like an exposed zipper.

What does it look like finished?
I’m having a lot of problems with the neck, part with the collar and all of that and I am stuck and don’t really know what I should do
