What about the generic/3rd party ones that are cheaper? Hard to think about spending another $40 on tools that I got on sale. Maybe for the stubby being brand new and gonna be tossed in a bag of tools

I don't care for the solid black. They should have colored in the letters or I wish they could make a clear boot

I use the boot and a battery cover from JDTCO because I work on the ground. I always place my tools on the ground, which is fine for a ratchet, but on a 200$+ impact, I’d rather not drag it across the concrete.
The protection of the car is also good, and he milwaukee brand is actually worth it since it fits perfectly and does not block any of the vents. Really like your videos they were super helpful for me to buy the right tool the first time.

I'd love a boot for the 1/4 hex impact driver. Cant seem to find one but. Already got one for my M12 3/8" stubby, M12 ratchet and M18 1/2" high torque

Another thing I would like to point out is when using the electric ratchets replacing a 12 volt battery I have grounded them when removing terminals I can see the protective boot preventing this from happening 😅

I just throw mine in hot water for a bit. They are a lot more forgiving to install onto the tool.

Think about if you sell them the condition they would be in!
