glad your posting videos again James renewable energy is brilliant but we need to do more for the environment I've cut my usage of driving my car don't drive as much as I use to walking a lot more plus its good for me excellent video again James really interesting view take care
Just the fact of cleaner air will save hundreds of millions of health expenses. The combination of water, solar, wind & batteries with some little green hydrogen will do the job perfectly. And no methane! That’s much worse for the climate than Co2. In the future, all households will run completely on electricity. A few weeks in November/January, when neither the wind is blowing nor the sun shines, will be bridged with green hydrogen, wich will generate electricity via fuelcell technology.
@@nicholashyde4066 Finally, I remember years ago when you wanted to do so but they prevented you. Well good for you. Are you allowed to use a battery storage or it that also in their bureaucratic discretion? I know you're a Tesla fan and have you considered joining their virtual power grid?
The companies love wind farms due to the kickback payouts they get when the national grid can't use the power or has too much power to accept power from the wind turbines.
Sorry, but burning natural gas is NOT sustainable in any way. I don't know where you got the idea that it can be generated from the atmosphere, but that is utter hogwash. Even if it were possible it would be incredibly dumb for the same reason that burning hydrogen is dumb: you expend many times the energy you get out of it to generate it. Then there's the fact that even burning hydrogen is NOT clean when using atmosphere to burn it. In theory burning hydrogen just gives you water vapor, but in reality all the non-oxygen components of the atmosphere result in nasty combustion byproducts. We need to stop burning stuff, period.
Hey James it's been a very long time since I watched your videos I don't think you will remember me I'm the guy from California I used to watch your videos all the time to much to explain why I haven't been able to watch them it's nice to see jasper growing up holy cow little guy is riding bikes a lot bigger now I have a question for you what happened to you and Sophia? You guys made a great couple I've tried to go back on your videos to see if you posted something about it but can't find anything anyhow if you could fill me in that would be great 👍 as always great video and thanks for sharing with all of us
Referring to petroleum derived fuel as "fossil fuel" is simply incorrect: (from Today I Found Out with Simon) "Why do People Think Oil Comes From Dinosaurs" ruclips.net/video/dtBnIg5TRV0/видео.html It's also a good reminder to avoid taking too seriously anyone that does because it represents the shallow depth to which they're familiar with subject.
no one is saying oil comes from fossils, as the video shows it is billions upon billions of microscopic plants and animals that lived AT THE SAME TIME as the fossils we now find so it is entirely reasonable to call these fossil fuels, the carbon we are releasing was removed from the atmosphere millions of years ago and we are now releasing it back into the atmosphere over a period of time that is a blink of the eye in geological time.

It is always a great day when you share a video, James!
Great news! I would love to see regular videos from you again!
James, why not consider working in the renewal energy field. They need smart leaders like you. A job is waiting for you.
I agree, James should look for a job working in renewable energy, not for his sake but for ours.

ive got 7kws of panels on my roof and 15 kwhs of batteries , 8 month of the year i import 0 electricity and for the remaining 4 its pretty low.
Have you seen the new china solar panels that use double film and are getting about 40% efficiency?
but that is a problem for other countries since the issue is over 90% abroad. not in the uk
Has your home owners association (HOA) not allowed you to put solar panels on your roof?
my housing association, put solar on my home this week

sadly the Tesla Energy Plan has finished no new sign ups and it finishes at the end of your contract@@dadbain
