I actually seen you do the egg roll in your other kitchen. So, I kinda knew you were going to pick string cheese. It actually came out a lot better. Also, I think the key is in the temperature of the pan…too hot you overcook the egg. Too low it might take forever. Well, also how much eggs you pour too. Lol because too much it won’t cook all the way and if it’s too thin you might not be able to roll it. That happened to me….thanks for another recap!! 👍
I got inspired and bought a tamagoyaki pan for egg rolls and it’s worth it for a cheap price. It doesn’t take me more than 4 minutes to make perfect square, triangle, or rectangle egg rolls. I can roll the egg quickly even when just using chopsticks or 1 spatula. My egg rolls look better than restaurant bought so I enjoy my protein packed breakfast or lunch more.
Hi Chef Chris!!! Your recipes for today look very delish!!! I like eggs and I will try my next omelet your way. You gave us some good tips. The string cheese idea was really good and carrots...and your turning method...Thanks for this. Always looking forward to see what you will be cooking next...Great Video!!!...🦋
I use butter to cook omelets. If you're that into cheese, you might like it Good call on the string cheese; it looked like it was easy to roll. Shredded cheese would give you an even layer instead of a cheese center. Sliced cheese would work well too. Choose a soft cheese, pepper jack would add heat. Even processed American cheese singles would melt quickly and roll easily
Definitely chopping vegetables very small and cooking them gets kids to eat them. Our bodies transform the pigment in carrots to vitamin A, and onions are loaded with vitamin C
I’m going to try this next! I made your kimchi pasta but used rice noodles instead and it was so delicious! I ate so much of it and then the second day it was even better! I love learning how to cook Korean food and I found an H-Mart that delivers so I get ingredients from there thanks to your recommendation! 😊
I just went to Korea and the wife of my host family taught me this. I told her about Chef Chris and how I saw this from him. She bought me the square pan to make these at home.
Hey Chef Cho, I was wondering if you could do a Korean fried chicken video. I make my fried chicken using flour but I watch battered chicken in Korea and wonder what type it is and the heat of the oil. Please enlighten me😁
I tried this omelette yesterday as my eldest charge came home from college for the summer yesterday and she’s vegetarian and the first omelette was a flop, so I ate that one and the second one was a teeny bit better, but I didn’t manage to get it to look like a perfectly rolled omelette like yours, mine was more folded. I shall keep on practicing until I get it right.

Why not using real cheese and not those artificial -plastic- packed version?
String cheese
Add ham 🐖
