  • Tune in for an initial unboxing and first look at the Drew's Boots Contractors in 6". Based in Oregon, Drew's boots has a long history of making high quality logging/ wildland firefighter style boots. In this initial review, I give a close look at many details in this example of a more accessible boot and I discussed the pluses and minuses of the relatively high cost of entry with PNW boots. Ultimately, this is a very niche boot but built to an exceedingly high standard, even with some of the unusual aspects of the boot such as where it is made.

Ive been eyeing these hard since Drews first came out with them. One thing that you neglected to mention, but which is also a major advantage to purchasing these, is the lack of a lengthy production wait time. Drew's try to keep these stocked in standard sizes for the most part. With many of the PNW brands referenced, there are anywhere from 3 months, to potentially 24 month wait periods for this style and build quality of foot wear (Wesco is notorious for their lengthy wait periods). Typically these can be recieved in just a week or 2 in comparison. Great review. One sub earned.

These are wonderful boots. Tanks. Great construction and value. The reason I don't own them is the toe looks a bit stubby to me. I have a pair of Trumans and recommend them highly. My next purchase will most likely be Nick's AL64. Thanks for the review. It's almost Autumn, so good luck with your break in and enjoy.

I haven’t seen anyone wearing these with a set of jeans simply walking. Good looking boots. Contemplating getting a set or perhaps a set of Nicks. Excellent. Cheers

DEf get with Drews they are owned by Bakers. And will help you dial in sizing so that no matter what brand you'll have an idea of what you'll fit. Also Bakers should have some collabs or at least 1 to 1 sizing. And their customer service is 100000% better than nicks...

They don’t channel their sole stitch? Wow! That kinda hurts its longevity.

I really like the built but all of there boots are way to bulky and wide , looks weird on feet , wish they can make a normal D width and for that won't never buy Drew boots ..Nice review anyway
