Yeah, Apple is just trying to move everyone into the cloud. And into their subscription services. From a business standpoint, sure - that's better. But they are ignoring the large audience that loves Apple but wants to have more control over their data and files.
You are a genius. I have been to a local computer hospital and the Apple Store to find out how I could transfer my old 50s and 60s songs to my iPhone so I could listen in the car. The computer hospital said it was very complicated and expensive. The Apple techie said it was very difficult and he didn’t want to do it. I just happened to see this video, after trying several others, and it worked effortlessly and quickly. Thank you. I now have 287 oldies on my iPhone, 13 hours. 4:06
I tried the program and it works perfectly, so this is a big plus.
Unfortunately I don't want to spend $3 per month and a one time license for $250 is just way off. Just as reminder, this is like 80 months (7 years) of program use. Who knows if it will still work in 2 or 3 years on new iphones etc.
So it's definitely made for users that want to transfer lots of music month by month to their phone. Unfortunately I am not one of these.
But thanks anyways for the program, every alternative to itunes is cherished!

I'll pay not to use iTunes for anything. Ever since Steve passed away, iTunes has been a 40th stepchild to Apple. Worse and worse and worse with every "update".
Can Walter Pro also copy over iTunes songs and videos or can you only use your own personal files and movies? Does it handle contacts

Dows this work to circumvemt the iphone’s Music app’s issue with making music i own on my computer greyed out and unplayable on my iphone with the message “this song is not currently available in your country or region”? Because that’s wll i want. An app that plays the music I actually own, no matter what the copyright says. Im not sure why this is so hard.
it worked but you can't put songs into playlist, it will stay there for a few hours but the songs do stay on your phone
I'm old enough to remember when Apple would allow me to transfer my jenkie old apps that weren't on the App store anymore and couldn't be restored. I was able to get apps from my iPod 2 to my iPod 4 and all of my iPhones, but not now because reasons.

Hi Andy, with WALTR, you will be able to transfer the mp3-file to your Music app on iPhone. Do the mp3 albums stay on your iPhone or do they get deleted and "synced" on future occasions when you re-connect your iPhone to your computer via iTunes?
Hi Terrence, they stay on your iPhone. The only way they will be deleted is if you have automatic sync turned on for your device in iTunes/Finder (if you're on a Mac). You simply need to enable "Manually manage music and video" option.
I've been using Android since 2015. I've been using all sorts of brands including Xiaomi, Oppo, Sony, LG and Samsung. And one thing I notice when using an iPhone, Apple Music app doesn't load up my mp3 files.
As mentioned above, I've used these brands and all of them have their own music app. After transferred from PC to Android, open music app, I simply wait for it to load up and play.

Hi Manish, you will need to export the music to a computer from your iPad and then transfer it into your new iPhone. But WALTR 2 cannot export music just yet :(

Question: When you drop files in bulk what is the process? How long to prepare files? THen what happens? For instance I went to drop 5 gb of Rock music. It has been prepping for 16 hours or so. There is no progress bar. How long should it take?
It's been 24 hours with the same message. Do I have to leave my computer on until it loads. It's good to have a progress graph if that's going to happen.

Yes, but only from your device. From inside the Music app.

It's 100% safe. You can read reviews from tech websites online. A lot of respectful media wrote about vouched for our apps.
Artists like The Beatles or The Flaming Lips organize into the “T” section of the Music app and not the “B” or “F” sections. Can I work around this? Can Waltr Pro do this? I am ready to purchase either version as long as it will organize my artist name by ignoring the “The” and placing them in the correct alphabetized order. Any help? Thanks.
Hi Francisco, Yes - you can edit the meta data manually in WALTR PRO. You'll be able to change the album name and remove "The" and put whatever you desire - it will then go into the appropriate alphabetical order.

Gonna call bs on this. I just downloaded the app. After converting a single song, it now says my limit has been reached and I need to unlock the full version to continue. Pretty frustrated that I wasted my time on this.

The first thing it tells me to do is update iTunes. I though the whole point was to not have to use iTunes. So now WALTR will not download. How am I supposed to get around that??

Hi Elli, the Music app should be pre-installed on your device (it's called Apple Music). If you can't find it, simply go into your App Store and search for Apple Music. It will then be there available to download. Let us know how it works out for you.

EDIT: nm I got the prob fixed. But where are the mp4 files(video files) stored?? Also, just for future notice, I think it would be sooooo good if you were to add features that allowed us to add files directly from cloud servers (not just iCloud but google or Onedrive).

Downloaded. got the 24 hr trial. open it , it shuts down a literal second after, did that a few times. I restarted the computer, opened your app, stayed open, but never detected my ipod...here's 30 minutes I'll never get back...

Tried to download ... blank screen at your Waltr page .. is it still available or did you get hacked? --- correction, it took a couple of reloads but the download page finally came up.

How do I get the artwork from my MP3 onto WALTR?
Hi Connie, the artwork should be in the same folder as the album of MP3s - then the artwork will be transferred along with the file. If you don't have the artwork, then our ACR feature will pull the artwork automatically on-the-fly (from the internet) - the name of file impacts whether or not it will be found in online database.

Sorry for the late reply! As Sanjaya already mentioned - the music goes into your default, pre installed Music app. Even if you don’t have Apple Music subscription, you can still listen to your own songs in your library from that app.

You simply create a folder and put the MP3 and the photo that you want into that same folder. Then drop that folder into WALTR 2 - and VOILA! it will be there :)
