And that's why you should always respect your elders.ya never know what magic and talent they have in em.🎉 And I noticed this show was played 1 week b4 my 63 bday too. Old school rocks forever 🥳
So great to see and hear this 40 yrs or so after loving this group in high school. Underrated band and song from when i was so much younger. Great memories! Thank you!!
Dude does anyone remember, this song was one of MTV s first big videos ,…The first one was the , Video killed the radio star , then there’s , The Warrior , Who’s behind the door, there was others I can’t think of right now but this was right about that time.
Man I wish I could have seen this, had their album in highschool and hadn't realized until later in life how awesome these guys were. From the turn table this is the good stuff!
I'm convinced this beautiful song is about extraterrestrials visiting earth but not wanting to interact with us only watching us like animals in a zoo.
I could be wrong here, but, as far I knew that Zebra only had one album( that I knew of) and their song who's behind the door has always been a very good song with me!
One of the first bands I saw live back in the early 80's. I lived in a little town miles from anywhere. No real music stores anywhere near me. I had to order their music from a store that took forever to recieve. Still have them.
First time I saw Zebra was at a bar named CHEERS in North Babylon, one rainy Friday night in Aug 1978. Maybe 10 people came. When they were packing up, I got to talk to them. Great guys! Felix really is quite funny! I walked out seeing a band that played Zep, better than Zep did live in those days! Quite BLOWN AWAY! A year or two later I saw them at Hamerheads with Equinox (brother was in the band), both taking turns side by side on stage.. What a SHOW! Wish we could all go back!
WOW!!!! One of my favorite bands from my youth , still together & still kicking ass!! And those high, long notes!!! Much respect!! Thx for sharing this.
I was there , in Boston , the night before was at Daryl's House , I was there too , the night after Boston , I was there , July 21st , July 22nd , then in Rhode Island at the odeon theater in East Greenwich July 23rd 2023 , three shows in a row .
I was there also! Used to live in St.Petersburg, for 42 years. 6 years ago I moved to the desert 🏜️ and I now live in Mesquite Nevada. GREAT BAND, GREAT ALBUM!! Got fired from my job at the Burger King for calling in sick so I could see their show at the Bayfront Center arena
Brings back my Long Island roots...where they had their greatest success. I remember WBAB pumping them up daily. Got to see them as a warm up band at the Nassau Coliseum after a few smaller bar shows. Amazing band!
Zebra was my band in highschool, they still sound awesome!!!! Saw them open up for BOC at Radio City Music Hall in '84.... What a magical experience!!! I also ran into Felix at Eddie Trunk's 40 years in Radio celebration in Las Vegas in December '23!!
Love the chord progressions and transitions. They fill my mind and explode into many beautiful crystals and points of light that are truly spirit lifting ❤
Man, he hasn't lost anything over the years. That high voice / signature nasal falsetto is still intact. He sounds great. How is that possible? He must have taken really taken care of his voice through the years.
Randy is humble and a great guitar and vocalist , I got to play the drums with Randy at club joges in Coventry , August 5th 2022 it was my daughter's 28th birthday party , I got to play who's behind door , one more chance , what is and what shall never be , and ramble on on the drums .
LOL as a kid in the MTV generation, I enjoyed this video so much, I suggested somebody try and do a cover of this song recently it's timeless, and damn Zebra they still got it, to hit the high notes. Much respect and admiration still
Hugely popular on Long Island in the early 80’s saw them all over before album. Did see them after album dropped in 1983 in Syracuse at the Silver Dollar Saloon. Amazing energy and sound from this trio. Still great
I was lucky enough to see them multiple times in New Orleans in the 1970's when they played at a bar on Elysian Fields Avenue. The entry fee was $1 if I remember correctly. I even took a whiz at the stall next to the bass player Felix. True story. They killed it every time.
Wow what a great day im having... Let's all remember the experiences we had and still have. G Bless Zebra 4 making Long Island their 2nd home... Merry Christmas 2024 See you all in the healthy new year ahead
I was there when Zebra started playing on Long Island. Great memories rockin' at Hammerheads club. The local rock station WBAB played their music. That's how good they were and still are!
brother you are awesome and Randy hasnt lost a single note and i envy you I saw Zebra At Hammerheads in Strong Island New York 11 yrs ago and they always used this song as their encore and totally brought the house down and the crowd to their feet

Makes me wanna go back.
To the 80'S MY GOD.
Let’s f’n go
What I would do to go back to 1981-89.
I hear that. The only bad thing about the 80’s is that they ended
They can age as much as they want. The short amount of music they crafted will forever be embedded in me.💯💯
Amen😊
i freakin love it!! loved hear him sing this song live today!
40+ years later, this is still EPIC. ❤ 🦓
Nice to see Guy healthy and to hear Randy's voice is back. Phenomenal album.
One of the most underrated bands of all time.....along with the Good Rats......Strong Island sure put out some amazing music!
Definitely underrated for sure
I first heard this song on my Masters of Metal volume 1 cassette. They can still make me turn the volume to max. This was awesome
That’s where I first heard it too!
So great to see and hear this 40 yrs or so after loving this group in high school. Underrated band and song from when i was so much younger. Great memories! Thank you!!

One of my favorites from the 80's that none of my friends even knew about. Shocked as hell when he still hit those high notes!
I remember when these guys 1st hit the radio about 40 years ago. I'm still as impressed with Zebra now as I was then.
I keep one of my guitars with the Zebra tuning (GGDGBD)
Blast from the past. Love this band. Just pulled the album out for a spin.

Fantastic! Zebra was underrated. Wait Until the Summers Gone!
I spent so long trying to sing like this guy...😂
