I get it, people put lots of dislikes because Omega are still milking their NASA involvement and Apollo 13 incident...however. Who wouldn't? Their watches were there, where history was made. People's lives depended on them. Any company would be proud to have a heritage of this magnitude, and bolster about it left and right. I think they deserve it. You have to remember - they didn't force themselves into being an icon. They just made good watches.
As I recall, Omega didn’t even know their watch had been chosen by NASA. They found out when they saw a picture of Ed White doing his space walk on one of the Gemini missions.

Don't worry about it. Different people different tastes. Rolex is doing the same with basically every model and nobody bothers. And good luck getting a Daytona. I am not against Rolex but their marketing philosophy is out of the orbit 😅.
As many watch manufacturers didn’t make the grade, including Rolex, I can only see the positive aspect of Omega’s relationship with NASA and the Space Programme. As enthusiasts, we tend to forget that a lot of people’s jobs depend on Omega making the right decisions on marketing and I can’t think of a better way to do so with such an illustrious history connected to the brand!

I received my Speedmaster as a high school graduation gift 42 years ago. I’ll never sell it. Amazing watch with an even more amazing history.
