Granted for an everyday watch a ceramic bracelet will be adequate. However if we're talking about Omega Seamasters, proven to be tough diver watches which can take a fair beating then ceramic bracelet links are not viable.
Here's something I will never quite understand - precious metals/decorative jewels on purpose built tool watches. Gold on a diver...just why? I know most people will never go diving with their divers, or use tachymeter scale, or measure anything with a chronograph. However, I still find it a little bit funny looking. It still looks like a tool. Just gold plated. Where are those gold plated hammers when you need em, eh?

I disagree, ceramics are brittle, unlike metals which are ductile. The brittle property would result in them being unsuitable for constructing the bracelet as for example if the links were bent the wrong way or subjected to hard knocks, areas of stess concentrations especially in thinner sections like the connection between links and clasp would crack.

Daytona with a Zenith el primero movement wanna be??...Rolex? I have two and are the worst timekeepers of my collection but folk tell me not a watch... a statement..really i thought they were watches. The Daytona keeps excellent time as it has a Zenith movement...
