Born in '59, I've enjoyed a variety of great bands...from the Beatles through King Crimson to ZZ Top... Now I'm enjoying the son of a Beatle covering a King Crimson song and nailing it... My life is now complete...
Anything Claypool touches is Gold, Jerry, Gold. Oysterhead 2x Flying Frog 5x Variations of Primus 10x Duo de Twang 1x Never saw a (Claypool/Lennon Delirium.) i did hear him do this song at the 1st or 2nd B’roo. Performed it as FLying Frog 🐸 I would kill for an OysterHead reunion.
Desconocía a Sean Lennon como guitarrista. Estoy realmente sorprendido. Siempre admiré a Claypool como bajista de Primus. Excelente y digno cover de King Crimson. Un hermoso delirio!
AWESOME ! Is it me or does every organist that is any good always remind me of a wizard ? Claypool + Lennon = AWESOMENESSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sean can play the guitar! I also have all of les Claypools music with all the different bands. I kept looking for new stuff and after a while gave up and just listened to all my collection. Now I see I am late finding out about Lennon and Claypool!! I did get Claypools newest cd with the three songs that I am greatfull for. So between the two albums they put out and the one cd of Claypool and all the videos and downloaded songs on you tube I should be good. Hopefully it won't be too long before more is coming out. 🙏
Les's picking hand is more active then most players fret and pick hands combined and then some. Jesus christ just looking at him do that while singing making it look effortless is incredible. One of the greatest of all time 2nd only to the master of bass Geddy Lee.
As much as I admire Geddy Lee as the greatest rock musician ever I am not sure he is a better bass player than Les. Musician yes, Bass player the jury is still out.
Most of what he's doing is mimmicking percussion on his picking hand, there aren't many actual notes coming out of it. Often times you'll find he isn't doing much fretting work in his own stuff. This concert actually shows me he's a lot better than I thought he was, as did a cover of In the Court of the Crimson King I saw. When he actually plucks out melodious solos rather than hypnotic rhythms he sounds a lot like John Wetton's playing. Do not take this as a slight against Les Claypool, his sense of Rhythm is absolutely unmatched as a bassist, and that's his true super power. This song is in absolutely retarded time signatures that alternate all the time over a steady quarter note to keep the music rooted. Not many people can do that, let alone with no difficulty as you see Les here doing.
Great cover, but the video stops in some places which is annoying because I have this as an MP3 file on my iPod, but it keeps stopping in random places
Best damn cover. The GOAT. Sean has become an astonishing guitarist,& Les has the Tony Levin bass sound DOWN!!Am so excited for the tour w/ Adrian& Jerry Harrison. Got my tix in Portland today- a whopping $35. Take THAT Live Nation, you sheisters!!! Delirium’s new tour is Pink Floyd Animals in it’s entirety. Um- YES, 🙏🏽 ❤🎉 Also, Sean is now 45. John only made it to 40, and it’s like looking at JL in 1968. Carbon copy. Wearing John’s officer hat fr/ “How I Won the War.” 🥲JL is looking fr/ the ether,& proud as punch. Fans need to hit the “Remain in Light” tour site- they went on sale today. To quote the T-Heads, this tour is …”once in a lifetime…”✨🎶💕
You could make an argument that this is the correct pronunciation since "Thela Hun Ginjeet" is an anagram for "Heat in the Jungle", and Jungle has a hard G not a soft g. Doesn't matter to me, I just love the song!!!
Lennon is not Belew, sorry, he's not Fripp either, but I love is hat... Bad cover I saw KC and Adrian Belew Power Trio live 6 times with this song in the last 30 years, and Tony Levin was more subtle on his Chapman Stick...
No disrespect intended but Sean's playing is nowhere near Fripp or Belew, or Jakszyk for that matter. Claypool's vocal isn't really cutting it either. Listen to the many Live renditions offered by King Crimson and forget this Travesty.
Sean does a remarkably good job considering the guitarists he is taking on in the form of Fripp and Belew! Credit where credit is due.
Sean has artistic genes
Without a doubt. He does a great job here.
Killer guitar playing from John's son. Really impressive.
Born in '59, I've enjoyed a variety of great bands...from the Beatles through King Crimson to ZZ Top...
Now I'm enjoying the son of a Beatle covering a King Crimson song and nailing it...
My life is now complete...
Such a good cover. Too bad the video freezes up. Sean does a great job on this emulating Belew and Fripp while adding his own touches. I'm impressed.
Tim Sivils saw them do this at the 1st or 2nd Bonnaroo. Killed it!
Ya, congrats to Sean L. Good to see his jamming on this prog tune.
Anything Claypool touches is Gold, Jerry, Gold.
Oysterhead 2x
Flying Frog 5x
Variations of Primus 10x
Duo de Twang 1x
Never saw a (Claypool/Lennon Delirium.) i did hear him do this song at the 1st or 2nd B’roo. Performed it as FLying Frog 🐸
I would kill for an OysterHead reunion.
bro that reunion happened a couple times
Amazing and very enjoyable.
Adrian, Robert, Bill and Tony would love this!
I feel like I'm a time machine that has taken me back to the days of prog-rock. Great stuff.
Desconocía a Sean Lennon como guitarrista. Estoy realmente sorprendido. Siempre admiré a Claypool como bajista de Primus.
Excelente y digno cover de King Crimson. Un hermoso delirio!
I just very recently had the pleasure of hearing these guys for the first time and I 👍🤘🤘would have to say these guys are stunningly good!
These two are really something together!!
AWESOME !
Is it me or does every organist that is any good always remind me of a wizard ?
Claypool + Lennon = AWESOMENESSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favs from one of my favorite Crimso albums. Wonderful!
This is a dangerous place, THIS IS A DANGEROUS PLACE!
Love that crazy Adrian
So many hats
What a sound!!!
A real révélation for me ! Thanks for the post!!!

Heat in the jungle
That was quite... mindblowing. Slap dat bass!
DioHard Reacts a smidge of Blue Collar Tweekers in that slap solo.
spectacular!
Great cover! Great to hear their take and it freaking rocked!
Really cool version. No one I know ever take on Crimson.
thanks for video👍👍👍👍
6:41 for truly earth shattering bass and a bit of Tweekers.
King krimson! The great band all the time....
This is so cool!!!
LOVE!!!!!!!
It’s a DANGEROUS PLACE lol 😂 oh Adrian, so endearing.
Saw that when the Album came out . It was mind bending. They played all in white light.
Great cover.....
That is Killi'n

Michael Vroom naw . Think Tony’s solo was much better .. makes sense with him being such a huge influence on les playing
As much as I admire Geddy Lee as the greatest rock musician ever I am not sure he is a better bass player than Les. Musician yes, Bass player the jury is still out.
He's an animal
Dont sleep on bootsy collins either

Lo que hace a partir de 6:15 con el bajo... yes!!!!!
KING CRIMSON es lo mas !!!!!
Noice!
King crimson rocks!
Bravi. Ottima idea riprendere certi pezzi dei king crimson.
Listen to that Man shred
Kick ass!!!!!!
Adrian would be PROUD!!! Gotta wonder if Belew, fripp, and crew have ever seen this.
Fairly convinced Robert has seen it, just in case its a boot! :)
@@joechapman3686 I'd say that's probably a fair guess!
Trippy AF. 🤯
yes sir
Awesome
this sort of drumming is so fucking nice
Are these guys still playing together? I hope so. They're just amazing.
Well... That took balls. They pulled it off though. :-)
Yes!
Great cover, but the video stops in some places which is annoying because I have this as an MP3 file on my iPod, but it keeps stopping in random places

Yeah, Sean may not have his dad’s songwriting skills, but his guitar skills are pretty impressive.
Banging
Too bad Les didn't do the Belew dialogue.
estes caras são o espírito do Pink Floyd
The public doesn't know whats happening
Who,s on drums?
Paulo Baldi - former drummer from Cake.
Court Beall a helluva beast with crimson blood
Umwerfend!
7:56 deliverence tune? =-0
2018 and 360p?????? wtf
2:18 3 guys who know about real music
is it only my perception or his voice is so similar to Paul Mccartney´s ?
After all these years still not pronouncing “”ginjeet” correctly.
You could make an argument that this is the correct pronunciation since "Thela Hun Ginjeet" is an anagram for "Heat in the Jungle", and Jungle has a hard G not a soft g. Doesn't matter to me, I just love the song!!!
Yea. It's "JIN-JEET".
Since it's a nonsense word - is there a "correct" way of spelling it? :-D
At the 6:45 mark Claypool goes off! Not as good as the original etc but shit guys; thanks for trying! You guys are good though!
Fun, but the song's not the same without the voiceover.
He held a gun in his hand... this is a dangerous place...
Great bass playing and drums! Guitar player is giving me a headache, however.
Miles away from the original, vocals sucks
Cristian Contreras yeah Claypool doesn’t like to come off as too highbrow . Sean would be great to duet with Charly García , Belew , Wetton and Jakko
YOU SUCK !
Chris sucks. Little bitch
Lennon is not Belew, sorry, he's not Fripp either, but I love is hat... Bad cover
I saw KC and Adrian Belew Power Trio live 6 times with this song in the last 30 years, and Tony Levin was more subtle on his Chapman Stick...
are you expecting Sean to copy the original 100%? he put his own touch to it and in fairness it sounds great.
Homage to KC people!! Super Cool
Awful

@P. Doherty Basically then, learn some Fucking Manners.
I have to agree!
Great cover .....
