Never in a million years when I fell in love with Into the Sun in 1998 did I think Sean Lennon would end up colaborating with and becomnig a peer to Les Claypool. This is a legendary performance.
His collaboration with Soulfly brought me here… so there you go! 😂

this show demands high level musicianship and Lennon delivers and then some. Claypool is Claypool, solid as a rock. The 70s swamp prog style kicks ass, love it.

This is ethereal bliss! Hauntingly familiar, yet new and distinct. Been watching this and listening to the album over the last few years and I keep coming back to this performance. The cloudy day and the mood fit this set perfectly. I would have been blown away if I was there! Great band! This just works on many levels.

Man this live was legendary , Les Claypool with Sean Lennon for god sake are the duo that nobody knew were needed, and god this is awesome , watching this all live again after years I discovered it it bring me back when i was shut in my claustrophobic room in Manchester working so hard that i couldn't basically move from bed tripping hard on good dog weed and listening to this all night , smoking sigs and drinking , it was simply paradise , and now I'm living this fucking crazy reality ,where i lost the possibility of get a new job because of the pandemic still large despite the vaccine campaign just started but going really slow .Stuck in Italy having lost everything , went back to live on my parents , this is my only window left on the world that i have . I miss the old days of normality , this reality suck , like a long everlasting living nightmare that it just won't go away .Please somebody wake me up .we were at the verge of an economic boom and all of a sudden everiything has changed for the worst , hopefully my words will last as a testament of what we were feeling those days of slow and boring agony and hopefully you are reading this whilst Claypool and Lennon having they're best big jam of they're all life in the background , hopefully with this damn virus erased from earth once and for all and you living a new dawn of this crisis past way back over your shoulder . Enjoy the freedom you have in the little things cause the so called status quo might dissolve in a matter of weeks , be grateful of every moment of quiet normality that you could have ; after lived all this i can and i must say that your freedom it's not granted . Be grateful and live long.

Other than enjoying this as a Claypool/Primus fan, it is pretty cool seeing the son of one of the guys who created Sgt Pepper's doing music like this instead of trying to make pop songs.

It's a trip how their vocals harmonize perfectly! Les' vocals are great & so unique. I've been listening to Les for over 30 yrs & have never heard another singer harmonize with him as well as Sean Lennon does. They're quite the team! Love them together. Damn I always knew Sean made music but I didn’t know he could shred like that!!!! I would go as far as to say he had surpassed his father when it comes to guitar skill but of course John’s genius was mostly his lyrics and songwriting. I dig it!!!
John Lennon was an underrated rhythm guitar player and Episode 3 of the Get Back film shows that well
John and Sean have different reasons for touching the strings the way they do. No one is better than anyone there. Just different.

Just stumbled on this don't really keep up,I'm off on my own tangent... Imma huge fan of King Crimson and early 70s prog ... Greg Lake was a master of his craft,and these guys capture the spirit of the time ... Always liked Sean's voice,and Claypool's madness ... Well 👍👍👍

I'm astounded to see that Sean looks exactly like himself! I never cared for Primus, so I didn't listen to them, but Les is pretty good, huh? And I'd bet 90% of those kids there had no idea about In The Court Of The Crimson King and Astronomy Domine. A Pair of Great Covers! I believe I'll have to pick up their albums. I like prog like this.
"Les is pretty good"? That was sarcasm, right? Voted one of the top 10 bassist in multiple publications. Makes playing amazing bass look like anyone of us brushing our teeth. Guy is amazing.
