It would be nice to see a video of a more realistic artist's workflow in this software that actually shows off the tools, instead of just slowly drag materials into slots.
Hello i was wondering if it was possible to create textures with armor painter to export them as jpeg and use them as buffer or layer extraction with nomad sculpt?
Hi there! Purchased this stuff for quick work arounds to adjust in-game stuff for video trailers. See, I have a couple of questions: is there an option to transfer blender objects with shaders or at least transfer an object and the textures it uses into the project (to avoid looking for textures on the hard drive one more time)? When to expect the update to fix exporting from blender 4.0 version? (at the moment it doesnt work at 4.0 but works ok at 3.6) thanx! Great project and I wish you all the best to expand the development!
Hmmm, no colour pick hotkey? I was hoping to use this for just blending/touching up diffuse maps, (no need for pbr etc). Not having a colour picker hotkey would be a deal breaker.
do you have a roadmap? will the ui and workflow get any updates? i would love to store brushes and textures inside a library and not have to remake them each time i open it, any masking plans for curvature ,cavity etc?
You're telling me, you did this in 4 minutes, and the videos not sped up?! Insane. I think the streamline process of both ArmorPaint and Substance Painter are pretty close now.

I agree, 20 USD for a beta program is rather steep if you do not know if it is a program that you would like and fit for what you are doing. As a hobbyist that is what kept me away, and I often wait for a V1.1 to know that most bugs in a new software been worked out.
It is probably better to wait for v1.1 in that case, will do my best to get there. Thanks to all who already got it though, otherwise this program would not exist.
When compiling the project with the `..\armorcore\Kinc\make --from ..\armorcore -g direct3d11` line: "Found 8 errors in 2 files. Errors 6 File ../../../base/Sources/NodeShader.ts:172 Errors 2 File ../../../base/Sources/UIFiles.ts:8 Error: kfile did not call resolve, no project created."

I'm going to test this on a game asset this weekend, Substance is testing our patience.

They are just dragging and droping PBR textures onto a model.

I don't see this mesh sample in Armourpaint cloud folder. How can I get his mesh? I like to test it as well.
Please check blendswap.com/blend/8316. The cloud only contains CC0 files, the cowboy by Ricardo28roi is CC-BY so it is not present there.
Is there a way to create your own UV maps yet in ArmorPaint?
Yeah, but I got a lot of errors and ended up doing it in Blender with N-Gone Pro and exporting to AP

Since this is in alpha, you should release a trial.
Nope, it's an actual release. And, you can buy it, as it's really cheap. Better than trying to build from source for free.
