Your response to everyone saying you’re crazy was to show another video that you did last year?
190 million eyes every game 5th in the entire nation. We move the needle!!
Still a Nebraska fan here and a B1G fan to support the conference. I am still glued to the conference realignment content wondering what teams will be in conference next. Your content by far is the most sensible of any I have found on realignment I have found. Most others are Big 12 fans who think they can have the pick of the best ACC schools. I for one hope FSU and others make their way to the B1G and back to Omaha for the College World Series! I hate seeing the SEC win it.
Happy Friday bro. We appreciate you. Hope you have a great Easter. 🐣
The Big 12 will have pick of the best of who the $EC and B1G dont assimilate into their money conferences$...excuse me into their collegiate athletic conferences.
That's funny. Nebraska not even happy in the BIG 10.
@@petewilcox3354yeah big 12 is not picking up Clemson UNC or fsu🤣 big 12 currently still below acc
@@kennyrama Im sorry, but where did I say the big 12 were picking up Clemson UNC or fsu?
Love your content, keep up the good work.
Thank you, much appreciated!
It would be the perfect season to do an indy schedule with the stadium renovation. The GT, Miami, UF, and non Conference games are locked in no matter what.
The MWC was very accomodating to Oregon State and Wadhington State. I think the Pac2 are paying the MW something like $10 or 12 million for a year of scheduling accommodation. They might do the same for FSU & Clemson, or maybe the AAC would accomodate them if the price is right. Or just pay individual schools adequately to play you. All you need to do is pay enough on top of the buyout clauses with teams on their non-conference schedules. Plenty of schools would pay cancelation fees in order to play FSU or Clemson instead. It's a windfall opportunity.
Games get canceled and rescheduled due to weather or other causes all the time, every year.
FSU / Clemson could play an assortment of SEC, Big10, AAC, and MWC schools, and each other. Keep their current 3 non-conference schedule opponents. They just need 8 opponents if they play each other.
They could pick up some FCS schools too, one or two. Pick some good ones. Pick some Conference USA and/or Sun Belt Conference schools, like: La Tech (play in the Independence Bowl), Liberty, James Madison, NMSt, UTSA, USF, Memphis (Liberty Bowl), Tulane (Superdome), Coastal Carolina, Charlotte, Appalachian State, ECU, Marshall.
Heck, I bet Yormark & the Big12 can make some things happen.
Talk to UConn and UMass, Oregon State and Washington State.
Talk to Villanova, Georgetown, and some other FCS schools that might consider making a move to FBS...
A schedule can be made, it will require money to be paid for changes and cancelations... but it can be done.
Just WOW! Keep up the great work.
Thank you, appreciate
ESPN has not yet extended the GOR so if FSU gets out now wouldn't they just have to pay until 2027?
Multiple levels of arguments. Only need 1 to win.
No.
I'd consider Wake Forest a G5 school, they'd make a good pairing with Rice in the AAC, but the others in the conference are not G5, maybe lower M2, but certainly not G5.
If this happens, K-State and Arizona should schedule them if possible. The K-State/ Arizona game on Sep 30 is a non-conference game because it was scheduled before AZ joined the B12
Yep, if any Acc team wants to show out, I’m sure FSU could find suitors
Interesting! As a Clemson fan, let's go!
Let's get this wagon rollin'
Hells yeah!
if it happens we have a landing spot beforehand. Yes the conference that takes us can easily add us for this year. ACC Mafia should be ashamed of themselves.
With the rumors of the SEC and Big leaving the NCAA, Florida State should just beat them to it. I wonder if that angle has been looked at.
The B1G and SEC have said repeatedly they are not leaving the NCAA. Also, the TV networks want more teams involved in a league not fewer.
Question: if the ACC dissolves before June 30, what happens to Cal, Stanford and SMU?
wow 319 comments nice one TJ. Im with you on everything but the schedule. If we bail out of the acc somehow, the acc would just cancel our games and add another game inconference or something. They wouldn't let us play their teams you wouldn't think.
🤜🤛
If 4 schools leave before June, and only 3 join (SMU+CalFord), what does that do to the ACC contract with media/ESPN ? Would it shrink the liability of the departing schools since the contract either shrinks or goes away by its own terms ?
To be clear, if 2 schools leave before June 30, the composition clause allows espn to completely renegotiate the 2024 and beyond season. There will be a HUGE discount forced on the remaining ACC teams.
I heard you out, and still think you are crazy - that being said, The ACC as wee know it is toast. The next round of talk will be if the ACC leftovers can compete with the leftover PAC in forming the premier G5 conference - that includes Toledo.
Check pinned post. Then go back and watch all our conference realignment videos from over a year ago until now. Keep count of how often we are wrong vs right. Then tell me, if you think we are crazy 😎
@@CFBAddiction Let me clarify. I think you are crazy for posting your opinions on RUclips, and trying to navigate this wonderful world we know as conference realignment (indigestion). I was not implying that your opinion today is wrong - it's actually possible and intriguing. I'm not a fan of any of the existing ACC schools, but I would watch those games of a break away league. Especially if they were to convince ND as the 8th vote.
Interesting scenario. Has logic. My Q would be, what/who are insiders saying to bolster the theory?
TJ good reporting on the Regal thread. Perahsps you want to source?

I thought FSU would have to have announced by last August in order leave…. I think we are stuck in the ACC for the 24 season and we have to announce by August if we want to leave before the 25 season…. I would love for us to get out today…. Just not sure how that happens.
None of the rules matter if you have already broken the contract like the ACC did. To be clear, I’m saying we play out 2024 ACC schedule, but outside of the ACC, as in independent.
That only happens IF the original understanding of the ACC GOR deal holds and not tested before then. Put another way, all options are now on the table and old agreements are possibly in legal jeopardy so why not try?
Everything you stated is true. TJ is just making stuff up for clicks and views.
Scheduling would be crazy. You are thinking football but all the other sports are involved. Do you think the ACC will sit idly by and accept all the schedule as it stands or even allow changes? There are 27 sports involved, I cannot imagine the mess.
Check back with us in a few weeks.
YOU'RE CRAZY!!!! 😂😂😂

Doubt it. I don’t currently see it. What if they become independent in 2004 and have to pay millions on the risk to do so, what if they fall flat on their faces this season? Best to look at options in a 2 year window.
Nice work TJ. Dropping bombs on Friday. Here's a little bit of recent history for all you doubting Thomases.
1. The ncaa will never allow players on scholarship to be paid. Hello NIL
2. The ncaa will never allow team to move independently between conferences. Hello UT, OK, SC, UCLA,etc.
3. The ncaa will never allow players to move unrestricted between teams. Hello transfer portal.
I can keep going if you non-believers need more. Wild, crazy, not possible, not enough time, go ahead and talk all the shit you want. Just remember if it happens to whom you will owe your apologies to. Yes this is way, way, out of left field. I have watched most of TJ's stuff and have been very impressed with the content. The one on one with Doug has been on point. Maybe he's putting this far out info out for a reason. He seems to have some very good inside contacts, so, dismiss him if you want. Just be prepared to eat crow if he turns out to be right.

CANE Class of '92... Interesting, wonder what it does to the ACC schedule for '24? Will they play the CANES and Clemson~?
Yes. 2024 schedule not impacted.
Who is sitting with ACC in court? ESPN ! Didn't look the best for FSU in court the other day. You sign a contract twice voluntarily and want out clear and free. Won't happen !
EXACTLY
The Noles and Clemson will never make the playoff with ACC officiating in 2024 they will make sure they fail by making bad calls all season long
Might as well go independent then...
Here, here!
@@CFBAddiction
The ACC sued FSU, first. FSU has every right to play independently. ACC has materially breached the contracts.
When you offend someone with your statements, it does not make them inoffensive if you say "no offense" - and that statement becomes a lie when you say it. It does not help with credibility.
@cadenliams1 Way to hyperbole....
Go independent, stream the games online on a subscription basis and have the students help run it.
lol there will be plenty of bidders, but I like your spirit
That content is owned buy the ACC, who license it to ESPN. Both could sue FSU. Bankrupt the Athletic Department.
I would bet several B1G teams would adjust their schedules to add FSU as a preview of future tv ratings exploding. Let's do it!
Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose… 🎼 let’s get the hell outta here! 😉🍻
SAY WHAT!!! MINDBLOWN!!!!
🤯
@@CFBAddiction just seems crazy to me to go independent for the upcoming year, still play your schedule and then possibly abandon the ACC for somewhere else in 25 completely messing with up to 8 teams conference standings and making things extremely difficult on who should go to Charlotte for the ACC championship game which has almost exclusively featured either FSU or Clemson(only 4 of 19 have not featured either school)
The Magnificent 7 (even if FSU cuts its own deal and goes to the BIG) plus WV and UCF would make a great Eastern Div of the Big 12. Louisville and GT go to and would be in the central Div of the Big 12. Each Division would keep most of their own TV money- probably leading to higher payouts in eastern division. The two lowest rated Div champs play each other for the right to play the highest-rated div champ for the Conference championship.
There's no Magnificent conference because FSU and Clemson will land.
Yeah, to be clear… the 8 wouldn’t split off to form a new conference, just to buy time to negotiate on the open market.
FSU would never allow themselves to be in the same conference as UCF.
@@adamb6370FSU is indifferent about UCF so much as they have higher aspirations than the Big12. If UCF was in the Big10, they’d still take an invite from the Big10.
@@adamb6370 FSU sounds like a 7th grade girl then. UCF has an enrollment greater than FSU and is in a bigger TV market than FSU. They have incredible potential.

SMU is moving to the PAC 12. It collapses. SMU moves to the ACC. It appears to be collapsing. Should we be sorry for SMU or take this as a sign to never let them in your conference?
How will ND play into this plan? We have a game in south bend in 2024. Will they play?

FSU would generate more revenue as an Independent and in the B1G, so it makes sense to make the move ASAP to start paying the ACC back more quickly then just being held hostage in the ACC for who now's how long and repaying them with the peanut they generate.
I wouldn't be surprised if some or even all of what he's saying in this video comes true. Go Noles!!!!!
Hopefully it’s in the Big12
For real, you are crazy.
😎
I don't think it's likely they would do that. I think 2025 is on the table though. You have to put a schedule together and when you don't have that worked out well in advance it's nearly impossible.
2024 scheduled would be played as is.
What is to stop the ACC from cancelling your ACC games?
Very interesting scenario. My question is, who is going to pony up the money for an independent FSU's football games? It won't be ESPN(ABC) because of their existing agreement with the ACC. CBS and FOX already have full schedules with their existing agreements. NBC has ND, but maybe they would be willing to buy FSU too, but probably not for a lot of money. Bally Sports is bankrupt. The only options I see are streaming, and I doubt any of the big streaming companies with money will want to only buy 1 season of one team as opposed to doing something to build their sports brand more long term. So, where will the money come from?
Ding...Ding...Ding...Nail hits head...
Amazon buys short mini serieses all the time.
Why not ?
And if Clemson & UNC join them... WTF ?
The move could kick off an en mass exodus who all play each other outside the ACC on neutral fields.
If ESPN is not going to extend come February (and they're not, if Clemson & FSU are leaving, regardless), then the ACC is in the exact same position as Pac12 were right before it blew up.
Mass exodus just around the corner.
Time for UNC & NCSt to file their lawsuit too.
And plan a schedule. Play in Atlanta, play in Tampa or Orlando.
Talk to the CW.
It could happen. But better move now. Move fast.
The ACC doubled down on stupid. Are they going to triple down too ?
Time to merge with the Big12.
Oh there will be plenty of opportunities. Plenty. Zero concern about finding a buyer.
@@CFBAddiction For their sake, I hope there are more than just bid against ESPN for the college football playoff rights. i.e. Zero other bidders.
Don’t understand how the media rights as an independent would work.
I don’t see schools like Pitt, VT and etc. being able to get their own TV deal that pays them as much as the ACC.
You mean for the 1 year or full time?
I'd think the 8 schools that conspire to dissolve would need to negotiate together as a stipulation.
It's a god forsaken conference now but in 2013 it was banging 🤣😂🤣
I agree, him and his buddies have been saying the same damn BS for 2 yrs now.
If FSU and Clemson leave hopefully the rest stay and they pick up Memphis another school.Just my thought just hope ACC stays together somehow
Worst case if they left now is the ACC does something to drop all games against Fl. State. aCC teams would loose one game each but Fl. St. would loose many games.
So FSU will forego all ACC money? They will chance being left out of a bowl game because they have no Conference affiliation?
They got left out of the NCP already because they were in the ACC - so your point means nothing to FSU.
This makes absolutely no sense.
Kind of like running a play on fourth down to lose a game? 🤣🤣
Agreed
yeah, sounds ridiculous but it makes for another video topic
From a business standpoint, It makes a lot of sense.
I mean… this is crazy.
Agree. We’re just getting started. News is coming out faster than we can make videos
We don't know whats in the ESPN contract. It could state that the moment FSU(Clemson, UNC, whomever they see as valuable) withdraws from the conference the contract is void. It which case FSU withdraws and the ACC gets no TV money. It could also state the value each school provides and if a team leaves that amount is reduced from the contract. So FSU and Clemson leave and suddenly each team is only getting $10 million a year. The ACC really does not want the teams to see that deal for some reason.
My guy is the Minister of FSU Propaganda. Apparently FSU is going to the NFL.
🐣🥳
😂
would fsu stay where they are if ESPN decides to up their money paid to ACC?
Not going to happen. Ship has sailed
No Dublin?
Existing 2024 schedule doesn’t change.
No one in the ACC is going to work very hard to get to the B12. Those what you called the "middle tier" are a core that can produce a better league and money than the B12, especially when the big media will revive the PAC and the 4 corners and Stanford/Cal will return there.
Tony A. Is that you ?
FSU fans can't understand that
You're hilarious
Not after FSU, Clemson and UNC throw duces
As soon as the remaining ACC schools realize they're going to make less money if/when some combination of Florida State, NCU-Chapel Hill and/or Clemson leave the ACC, some of those schools will be envying the much more stable Big 12. Looking at you, Pitt, Louisville, NC State...
Musical chairs, who will be left without a chair?
At least they could get a fairly officiated game for a change outside the ACC. Last year the officials clearly had a bias against FSU. It seemed like they were out to “punish” FSU. This year would/will make last year seem like child’s play in comparison. FSU was fortunate to win some of their games as the officials did everything they possibly could to give their opponent the best opportunity to win. Close calls/no calls consistently and routinely went against FSU. It got to the point it was like watching a Hollywood movie where the underdog team had to beat the other team and the officials.
Dear god poor FSU fans everyone out to get them. Give me a fing break . FSU has got the benefit of calls since the early 90s and now one bad call and the ACC is out to get them. That makes no sence if FSU is more sucessful the ACC is more successful so wtf would the have calls go against the. FSU has one good season after 10 yrs of struggling and now they think their shit dont stink
Buddy they took a safety away from us against FSU, I don't wanna hear shit about how the refs are against FSU
They’ve always been biased, the refs are Tobacco Roaders, always have been
You don't watch many games do you? One bad call?????????@@michaelmoser4728
@@michaelmoser4728 let me explain it to you and I’ll use small words so you can understand. The ACC knew FSU was going to leave the conference last year. One bad call?? ROTFLMAO. I’ve wasted enough time on you.
Great idea 8 schools go independent to bad califord and smu no cent joining acc going drag down conference don’t big lot money to conference football and basketball both team sucks
Wouldn’t this hurt FSU in the 12 team play-off because they couldn’t win a conference chamionship?
Still have path as independent.
Number one, it would take more than 8 schools to dissolve the conference. That argument was squashed last year. It would take a super-majority vote to dissolve, so even if they could go that rout before June 30 they would still need 11 schools out of 14 to vote for dissolving the ACC. That won't happen.
Number two, for FSU to go independent for the 2024 football season, all their scheduled ACC opponents would have to agree to keep them on the schedule. They can simply say "if you go independent, we'll remove you from out schedule". Yes, it would be hard for them to find a viable replacement on their schedules, but for each of those schools to find one replacement is doable. It would be impossible for FSU to find that many viable replacements on their schedule. The idea that FSU would go independent for the 2024 season is just pure nonsense.
Can FSU make an announcement by June 30 that they are leaving the ACC? Sure, but they wouldn't be able to officially make the move until 2025. Come on man, act like you actually know what you a talking about 🤣
Check back with us in a few weeks Clint. 🫡
Most of the people in comments can't see the vision cause they think its a triple threat match, ABC vs FSU vs ACC....when it was a 2 on 1 handicap happening with Clemson jumping in making it a 3 on 1.
Who is FSUs home game media partner in this scenario? ... Not ESPN!
Anything is possible. Once the court throws out GOR, espn is just as likely as anyone else.
@CFBAddiction nobody is just gonna bully their way to renegotiating a last minute one off media rights deal as an independent. ESPN will shove that up FSUs %&$, and any other ACC fool that tries to go along.. and they'll bury you in the B12 ... if you're lucky
If you haven't noticed, ESPN runs college football, and Fox won't dare step in to this fight
@CFBAddiction even if that pie in the sky wish came true, you burned a bridge w ESPN. Wouldn't do that
@christopherhooter1937 It's all about the money. ESPN doesn't care if they pay ACC or FSU. With the viewership, that's what matters. And don't think for a moment ESPN wouldn't be willing to spend less money per game to FSU to broadcast games. There I absolutely no loyalty anymore and at that point, it's directly with FSU outside of the ACC.
@user-ql3fd2zd3u espn is not going to help fsu exit the acc UNLESS they've already cut side deals w SEC, Fox, B1G, and B12 as how to divide up the spoils ... and I seriously doubt those details are worked out yet
Dang dude 2 minutes to get into it.
Good feedback
This isn't going to happen. They would go so far in debt, they wouldn't be able to get out of it. ACC holds cards on basketball, that ESPN will not touch them and the other networks won't touch them as well. They are hoping for the Big ten as Florida and Auburn will blackball fsu from joining the SEC.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
The ACC could lose as many as 9 teams and still exist as a conference.
they only question would be is how much would there TV deal would be worth, as I believe ESPN would op out in 2027 in order to change the terms of the payout.
@EyeOfTheWatcher the Big 12 survived losing all their big cash cows, there is no reason the ACC couldn't do the same.
Simple majority to dissolve in North Carolina. If 3/4 want to vote to remove grant of rights and exit fees, then they can proceed.
@CFBAddiction that would mean that 8 teams have to vote to dissolve. Do 8 ACC teams have landing spots in the SEC or the B1G?If not, highly unlikely that there will be enough members to dissolve the conference.
Technically yes, but do you think ESPN would renew their media contract with them if the ACC's top 8 teams leave? If so, it wouldn't be for nearly the same price. They might survive for a while, since they would get some $$ for the exit fees.
The ACCN has FSU last in its programming. I think their feelings are hurt.
There is a reason the SEC didn’t spend anytime on the schedule
🤔
Why would FSU give up the acc outbid? I mean they basically got the acc locked down. It is way harder to get to the playoffs as an independent. So is it really worth decreasing your chances to get on the big stage to be independent? I think for realignment yes, but norvell may not be the happiest regarding his post season path, and this is definitely not the best play for the players or the fans who want to see FSU in the playoffs. We don't want another FSU bowl game with an opt out frenzy
did you forget what JUST happened to them in 2023!?
What makes you think they go independent?

Miami won't still be a member of the '7'.
You keep adding UNC to the list of teams (FSU and Clemson) who are trying to get out of the league. Yet, UNC’s AD, has taken a very strong stance against FSU’s lawsuit against the ACC. Yes, they are a highly desirable team, but both UNC and Miami’s AD’s have made it clear they want to stay in the ACC. As far as your 75% perdition that FSU will become an independent this year. I think you got your numbers wrong. I would give it a 25% chance of that happening, but I hope you’re right! Go NOLES!
Youre uninformed. Other highly placed UNC officials in decision making positions have stated the opposite.

@@CFBAddictionYou’re absolutely right, but who has more power, an AD, or the Board? I honestly don’t know! Regardless, it’s definitely a really bad look for UNC, that their AD and Board are openly against one another.

Who would FSU play? They would lose their ACC games so who would they play since schedules are already in place?
They would play their ACC games as an independent.
If that was tried, why wouldn't the ACC cancel all games with with FSU. Even if they had existing schools schedule each other 2x. What is FSU going to do? FSU is not right about the GOR. If the ACC did that who would FSU get to fill their schedule? and no, the ACC does not seek to control FSU after they leave, just that they pay up before they leave.
Yeah this guy is living in his own version of reality the fact he thinks this has a 75% chance of happening before this season 😂
Because the ACC would lose the revenue for all those FSU away games.
ACC doesn’t have to play FSU If they go independent.
I just wanna see my boy Joey Chestnut win again.
🌭
How could FSU sell its TV rights for a season starting in five months? Which networks have room on their TV schedules to add FSU within such as small time frame? Obviously schools like BC, Cuse, Wake, etc., will not ask to leave, since they contribute very little to ACC money and they need to have the league to survive.
Guess we gonna find out the answers to those. Highest bidder. And I wouldn’t rule out the network who would be losing them.
The Big 12 will only get mid teams so it won't help the big 12 if they go there

SEC fan here following your content in terms of this for a couple months. Ive liked your content but this sounds like a wild claim with no concrete proof. Just so I have this right, your saying not only FSU is going to go independent this upcoming year but 7 other teams, the mag 7 and one other team, are all also going independent for this upcoming season (which is 5 months away btw). And in so doing this they not only make more revenue but dissolve the conference... Dude thats only something a FSU homet could come up with 😂😂😂
Appreciate your feedback. 🤝
Law schools in the ACC should offer sports contracting courses, NIL contracts, & how to walk away from contracts you signed.
What do you think they teach us in the basic firsr year Contracts class (2 semesters of nothing but that).
They do.
ACC should operate in a proper business model and not enriching themselves and menial teams. They have stuck to no part of their agreement , contracts require both sides to Cooperate and follow the contract. That was not done by the ACC
@@CharlesFosterMalloy I understand. Maybe it should be an ACC sports contracting class for School presidents, provost's, ADs, & boards & season ticket holders. Best wishes.
I just don't get the FSU hype as they generally cant even fill up their own stadium in many cases....
190 million eyes on every game!!
But why? Being an independent would negate FSU’s chance to make the playoffs
Not really. Same path as Notre Dame
Gator and Orlando Resident. UF and FSU will never coexist in the same conference as UCF. Actually a big reason FSU is burning the ACC is because the B13 elevated UCF. The state of Florida can’t sustain another power school. It’s over saturated.
I think a lot of the direction the sport of collegiate football is headed in is dictated by the absolute atrophy of a once proud Miami program. FSU has taken all advantage of this weakness and struck while the iron is hot. Florida hasn't needed to do a damn thing. And you know what? Florida fans deserve kudos for their continued support of their program even during down times.
Well it’s easy to forget, Eventhrough the last painful decade (which a result of failure at the AD level) UF is still a top 10 program (#7) nationally. But I still feel all of this is about really separating the have and have nots. In the state of Florida, there are 7 FBS programs, which are oversaturating the state. This is a move to get Florida back to 2 or 3 power schools. UF is already in. FSU had to get out of the ACC and get into either the Big Ten or SEC to keep up. If they ended up in the B12, they would be considered equal with UCF. That would majorly damage their brand in the state.
UCF is no power school
"Insanity" (your characterization) or "Blue-Sky Thinking" (mine)? There are no sources quoted for your thesis, which is troubling. FSU going independent in 2024 requires us to believe that some network would pay FSU directly to broadcast their games while simultaneously opening up that network to allegations of "tampering" from the ACC. What network with any kind of competent legal department would touch FSU at this point? In addition, networks need time to plan their programming so this scenario seems highly unlikely for the 2024 season, so expecting no outside money to support an independent FSU in 2024 seems quite likely, barring any new legal rulings. The problem with FSU's "scorched-earth" legal strategy with the ACC is that it makes FSU look like a less desirable conference member to the B1G/SEC. If I was a conference commissioner and let FSU join today, would I find my conference being sued by FSU tomorrow because they wanted a bigger piece of the payout? Can an independent FSU with no external financial support be fiscally solvent? Also, "vulture" capital is another really, really bad idea.
To be clear Terry, FSU will have already had beat the ACC grant of rights in court to be able to sell their rights. This expedites that process. If they win, they can. If they lose, it’s the same situation they would still be in from inside the ACC… having to buy back their rights either way. FSUs conference payout is going to the buyout either way. Check back with us in a few weeks. 🤝
@@CFBAddictionIf FSU wins in a timely fashion (not a given), then yes, in the most optimistic scenario FSU owes the ACC nothing and FSU can sell back their rights to some network in 2024 as an independent, but what I said still applies. It's a question of timing. Can they get a network rights agreement in place in time? Unknown, but it seems unlikely given the deliberate pace of our judicial system. Notre Dame gets roughly $22 million/year from NBC for football, but let's be honest. FSU will get nowhere near that amount from some lower tier network, assuming a bidder can even be found in time.
Suppose FSU loses to the ACC in court. FSU is NOT in the driver's seat in this case. FSU could be liable for way more money than they could ever hope to recoup for a grant-of-rights deal with another network. These two scenarios are NOT necessarily equivalent in monetary terms. The statement that "FSU's conference payout is going to (be) the buyout either way" is NOT necessarily true. They could be quite different, for the reasons stated.
FSU's best hope is that ESPN decides to not renew it's contract with the ACC, and for ESPN to do so ASAP. This is what FSU is hoping for by expediting the discovery of the ESPN/ACC contract in the Florida and North Carolina cases. If FSU wins this in the end, it could be the biggest long shot victory ever! As a VOL, I hope this all works out for FSU. I really do. Good luck.👍
You all have to remember that private equity will take you a long way to get what you want. And that includes not taking ACC money. You also have to still believe that the grant of rights is actually Ironclad.
F'n aye right buddy!
Grant of rights are toast. Most lawyers following along know this already.
Lemme get this straight - FSU just got left out of the college playoffs as an undefeated conference champion but thinks it has the national value to be more than it currently is alone with no conference? I can't wait to see how this plays out. Should have hired Deion.
This would be for 1 year bro. 😎.. we’re not Notre Dame
This precedes the the CFP, very happy FSU has Coach Norvell.
It’s time for the NOLES to exit the acc and go to greener pastures $$$$$$ in another conference that pays their members better than what the acc is currently doing period.
By the way your videos are awesome.
Thank you appreciate
So fsu gonna play no home games for 12 years to skirt the grant of rights not happening
The ACC would not last that long. ESPN will not renew.
Clemson could do the same thing.
A year
Don’t let the door hit them in the ass.
🚪😎
We (FSU) have already knocked the door down….. 💪🏼😎🪓🔴🟡
Let the go independent, but don't play them.
I don’t see it. Too risky. Would love to dissolve the conference. Don’t see the canes and Wolfpack of the world wanting to do this.
It is risky. But not nearly as risky as letting ESPN control all the cards and SMU, Stanford, Cal, Wake, BC, Syracuse tie their fate until 2036 to you.
FSU would only get a partial share in the Big10 as well. At least till their next negotiations occur.
🤔
If FSU were to leave the ACC this season, it would need to happen immediately.
Agree. You want to give it plenty of time, so the court can expedite the GOR ruling
FSU chose ACC! Good luck with that 😂 Why does SEC or BIG 10 need anyone. They DON'T
The BIG wants FSU and ND. ND isn't going to cooperate though. Lol!
People are catching on to your shtick dude. No one else is soewing all the stuff that you are. Hell, I thought to myself weeks ago that FSwho should just go Independent. This shit will drag on for months bro. Wait for it.....
FSwho? LOL. The most talked about team in college football is who? Who you would be a better question.
