Ibanez crushed this! A beautiful homage to the Telecaster that is uniquely Ibanez. That Prussian blue is gorgeous. This is definitely worth adding to any T-fan's collection.
Does anyone have experience comparing this to a traditional Tele? What do you think the tonal differences would be vs. a traditional Tele if you were to swap in the same pickups? Or acoustically, how do the two compare? Does one seem to have more snap, bite, attack, fuller bottom end, brighter top end, more mids, or any other noticeable differences compared to each other? I've been wanting traditional Tele tones but with an arm contour, and I have no idea if this guitar could get me there with a pickup swap. So far the only two options on the radar that might be able to accomplish this might be be this and the Kiesel Retro Solo. The stock neck pickup seems to be lacking the traditional Tele mojo, which impacts the in middle position too.
Interesting. The only part that sounded thin to me was the in between pickup sound at 3:09. Otherwise it seemed thicker than the average tele tone-wise. Also the gain at 5:24 sounded thin but I think that was more the amp settings than the guitar.
I bought one (longtime tele player). I’m only very happy with it, and it’s never sounded thin (across multiple amps). Very clear and warm while still twangy. Tele-ish. But not exactly the same.

At last, an ergonomic, modern guitar but with classic design. It may be my first Ibanez.
Did you buy one? If you get one Ibanez, you'll definitely get more.
Im in love with the new Prestige line-up

Super cool.
Well now, this is the best video that demonstrates the tones of this guitar. Thank you sir.
How was the intonation with the saddles? Great video thank you.

Nice playing. Nice guitar. Awful amp sounds.
What does the blue or red color mean for the pickups
Sound a bit thin and hollow to be honest.

Yeah, I'd say it only sounds thin when it's supposed to.
try your headphones that are bass capable... not thin and hollow, the neck humbucker is actually quite dark
