Wow Mia... I actually skipped this song for fear of seeing an injustice done to Amy... You nailed it, kept the energy of the original and yet owned it like it was yours... Goosebumps
You weren't kidding when you said to me in a comment that you put out loads of stuff! 😲You certainly do! I'm trying to watch as much as I can. I LOVE this - very inventive, wonderfully sung and played - you're an amazing young lady Mia - such a joy to watch and listen to. Music clearly runs through your veins and you have the loveliest smile that shows so well that you are passionate about what you do and enjoy it so much. And ... you have the sheer talent to go with that love and enthusiasm. Long may you continue to shine Mia - you are the real deal. Hope you're doing OK and thank you so much for sharing the love 💕⭐
I just found your channel. Been binge watching a little. Your talent speaks for itself. The fact you're having fun shines through. Your smile is infectious. But I was eagerly anticipating the blooper reel too. Oh well, I'll keep watching. Thanks for sharing your talent and passion. May it always be fun for you.
That's a nice comment to read and I appreciate the last sentence as well. It is the thing I love the most and I hope it stays special for as long as possible.
Happy 18-birthday Lady! I read all the comments & tried to enlarge the markings, but couldn't read the make of the cajon. Been looking, but there are so many out there, appreciate if you recommend a cajon- my 8 yr old nephew started the drums, & this looks like good addition. Saw you on AGT & just finished binging all your videos, rare talent, ambition, energy, business sense, curious, performance chops & better human. Compliments to parents.
mine is an inexpensive Gon Bops Acuna special edition. however, i've also tried more expensive ones and they seem to be inconsistent from box to box. they are really pretty simple and there are snares or sometimes just wires strung against the front wood in a pretty basic way. my recommendation would be to go hit some and buy the one that you can make the highest number of different sounds on. You just want one that gives you the best opportunity to be musical. i like a lot of snare but i stopped using my cajon in a traditional manner about a month after getting it.
Thanks! It's wild to see this now. I play that same Cajon every week on stage for a bunch of artists in front of big crowds. I remember how excited I was to figure out what, 'the box' was about.
Hi, Mia! You make me a huge tenderness when you explain Cajon use and how it is done! Happy Halloween! I can't wait for your new video-song on Friday. 👏👏😊😍, Renato

Very good. I like the way you have a open mind to all types of music. Keep up the good work. Would you ever consider playing Linger by the cranberries. You have the perfect voice for it
I have some Cranberries on my go to play list. I haven't really thought about a cover I guess, because her voice has some really distinct quirks that I think I might sound odd trying to copy and at the same time, you would miss them not being there.. Anyway, thanks for the comment!
Well, you had me beat, it hasn't even been a year since I discovered the existence of the cajon! I don't have one yet, but I sense acquisition is imminent...
Thanks. I'm not very comfortable singing yet but I'm guessing my voice will change a bunch still over the next couple of years so I try not to worry too much about it.
Hi Mia. Stumbled on this jem today. Amazing job, even back then. I wonder if that 13yo, who just discovered the cajon, thought she'd be the resident cajon player for Song Suffragettes? You've come a long way in a short amount of time. I first saw a cajon played by an Irish band called Slago Rags. Their name comes from a pretty famous song called The Irish Rover. Oh, and who was your guitarist? She's good.
I saw such drums but I didn't think that they can be so cool. Great drumming :) "I want to be a drummer when I grow up" - me too :) subbed to you :) P.S. Thank you for your clear and distinct English - it's a great help for people like me for whom English is not native. Thank you :)
Thank you. I was really surprised when I heard the cajon through a sound system. It didn't match what I was looking at. Good luck with your drumming and thanks for commenting.

Mia Mia Mia! I disagree. I know you are VERY GOOD!! That was a great cover and the cajon paired perfectly with the song. It was a good match for your voice too. Was the cajon hard to figure out or get used to at first?
It was a little harder than I expected. Playing with sticks seems to use more wrist and hands so the motion took a little getting used to. Also, playing the, "kick sound" with both hands was a new sensation. Thanks for commenting.
